I've been to a few Cava locations, but this one is my favorite! They're very generous with portions and entire team is very friendly. There's usually a short line around 12PM but it moves quickly. You start by choosing a base of greens/grains, dip (thick sauce), meat (chicken and braised lamb are my favs), toppings, then dressing (spicy harissa is delicious and not spicy). Cava tries to be like Chipotle with their service model but fails. It took over 30 minutes for me to order and pay. Sadly, my experience today is a repeat of what it has been the last 2 times I was there. They are either understaffed or undertrained. There was a huge line at 1pm. The guy starting the bowls was working so slow and was getting confused. They were out of many ingredients. The girl asked what I wanted and when I said pickles and olives, she gave me 1 slice of pickle and 2 olives. 1 slice of pickle? I asked for cabbage she gave me less than a teaspoon worth. After she prepped my bowl, she packed up my bowl and told to me wait while she helped other people. For 5 minutes I stood there, my meal ready, but no one to ring me up to pay. In the meantime, there is a 10 year old girl waiting to ask a question for at least 10 minutes, everyone ignoring her. I finally flagged someone to help her. After paying, I go to fill my drink and there is no ice, and they are out of my favorite drink. The food is delicious, healthy. But every time I come here, it's in complete disarray, they are out of everything, and the employees are slow. They put my food on the wet tray they could find and the restaurant put my pita bread on top of it essentially making that an edible. I ask the cashier if he would eat his food off of a wet tray and he proceeds to tell me with a smirk that he wouldn't accept it. This service in this restaurant is absolutely horrific not to mention the portions have increasingly shrunk overtime. It's a nightmare at lunchtime. I've never felt the need to complain about a fast-food restaurant--until now. In fact, I don't even think I have ever left a 1-star Yelp review before... I placed an online order at 11:00 AM for a scheduled pickup at 11:15 AM. I arrived right on time. At first, I didn't mind waiting a few minutes, but after 30 minutes had passed, I felt the need to speak up. There were at least seven employees working--possibly more--but only one person seemed to be handling online orders. Meanwhile, walk-in customers were being helped immediately, some receiving their food within minutes of walking in. It was frustrating to see employees standing around at the register with no one in line, restocking cups, and tending to tasks that could have waited, while online orders were clearly falling far behind. Why wouldn't more staff be assigned to handle the backlog of online orders, especially during the moments when the front counter was idle? It seems only fair--and logical--that customers who placed their orders well in advance shouldn't be left waiting while others who just walked in are served first. What's worse is that this isn't an isolated incident. This happened to me a few weeks ago at the same location. I let it slide then, thinking it was just a bad day. But after it happened again today, I'm genuinely frustrated. read more

After trying out the local CAVA near me, I decided to try it again, but on the way home at this location! The service was very helpful and quick and we were able to get our bowls within 5 minutes, even with a full line. The dining area is a good size, but needed some cleaning of the tables, as we were not able to find a clean surface, but that's fine. The bowls themselves were delicious. My bowl included super greens, brown rice, red pepper hummus, harissa, tzatziki, grilled chicken, roasted sweet potato, tomato and cucumber, Persian cucumbers, red onion, roasted corn, crumbled feta, balsamic date dressing, and yogurt dill. The menu at Cava has a number of great healthy options. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the steak and honey chicken on a bed of rice and arugula with all the extras. You just have to go to really appreciate all the options they offer...and the sauces were so yummy. The service was equally as awesome.
