Got the Grilled Steak & Harissa Honey Chicken bowl ($16). It's a good spot to get your veggies since you customize your own base, toppings, and dressing. Flavor: The spicy items have a good kick and different flavor profiles. Portions: Decent size bowls, though the meat portions felt a little light for the price. Setting: Indoor and outdoor seating available.

A CAVA bowl is usually two meals for me, in fact, I sometimes get a kids meal if I don't want leftovers. But today when my husband asked what I wanted from CAVA, I opted for a normal bowl so I could have lunch tomorrow too. He ordered online and picked up, luckily checked the bag before he left because the pita was missing. Came home, we opened our bowls and were very disappointed. They were barely half way full and complete sloppy messes. Usually the sauces are placed nicely on top to be able to dip the pita in, but it was all mixed together and I couldn't tell what was what. I asked for broccoli and didn't get it. There was also huge chunks of feta that I did not order, it made it way too salty. My lamb meatballs, which are usually delicious, were on the verge of being burnt and were dense like hockey pucks. This was definitely not worth $15. My husband said the last time he got food from this location, it was also a tiny portion, but he thought it was a one off. Unfortunately Orange was closed today which is why he went to Anaheim Hills, but he said he won't be ordering from this store again.

This location is 3 miles from me which is great. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Staff were nice and helpful, establishment is clean and plenty of parking spaces in this location. We both got the spicy chicken avocado bowl, it was very good, fresh and generous amount of food. We asked if they offer any military discount and to our surprise they do at least for this location. We definitely will be coming back. Great food great service and lots of parking, highly recommended!

What has happened to CAVA? -- the flavors are great and the ingredients are usually fresh -- but the portions have dropped substantially lately. What used to be a generous, satisfying bowl now looks half-filled, and for the price it just doesn't feel worth it anymore. On top of that, my last order had multiple issues: one bowl was missing broccoli, they forgot to include the pita (so I had to ask for it), and the lamb meatballs were hard, dry, and so overcooked they might as well have been hockey pucks. The food here used to feel reliable, but between the shrinking portions and the careless preparation, the experience has really gone downhill. I hope they turn it around, because right now it's just disappointing.

This review is based on cava via Uber eats/DoorDash etc... Im disgusted that they take zero precautions when ordering through a food delivery service. The bag was not sealed, the contents of the bag (one bowl and one small bag with pita bread) was not even closed and had no stickers, no seals, nothing My food could have so easily been tampered with and I would've had absolutely no idea. I'm not saying my driver did anything, my food looked fine but unfortunately I will not be eating it. I have seen and heard horror stories about what some drivers do to the food they're delivering which I'm pretty sure is why most other restaurants have taken precaution and started sealing (at least) the BAG closed. I've NEVER ordered from any food delivery service and not had some kind of seal either on the item or the bag. Most places seal all of the items and also the bag. I found it so strange and unsanitary when I opened my front door and saw an open bag with my bowl and another small open bag inside of it with my bread. I'm actually very shocked that Cava takes zero precautions with food delivery services and think this should be addressed.

I am not sure the rating is so high. The food is decent but not better than average. Good take out food maybe. First they have so many people working and you have to wait for them to be free to help you. I think they work on take out orders. I told the person it was my first time and they didn't really help me in a way I feel was beneficial. I had to ask him about the chives. Then when we took our food home I saw the fried wonton chips on my son bowl. What I would have gotten a crunchy item... I saw it but they didn't say I could make a pick them that area. I was disappointed. The food taste.. the spicy meatballs was dry and the chicken was just as dry. The bowl was good with the sauces and the combination I picked but the protein was disappointing. Would I go back maybe but I am going to other places to try before I go back here. The menu was such a small print and not easy to understand of how it works. IMO

This was a return visit to Cava to enjoy the fresh Mediterranean fare. You can pretty much customize your bowls as to grain, greens and toppings. The food portions are generous and satisfying. As usual, the staff were fast, efficient and friendly. With just two tables occupied, all the remaining twelve or so tables were not clean from previous diners. After moving from two dirty tables, we succumbed to clean our table to use. The food is good but next time we'll do take-out.

They give you 1/2 the amount of food than other Cavas. For $20/ bowl. Rip off. Wouldn't waste money again

I Work around the corner so I come here all the time for lunch. Hands down the best Cava around I've had. The place is clean and the food is always fresh. I recommend trying the harissa chicken if you like a little spice. I usually get helped by Renee and Jade, the staff here has amazing service and they seem to enjoy their job unlike most Fast food / restaurants. I always come to this Cava location specifically for the service! Tonight, during a busy dinner rush, the employee working the line named Caden was very kind and helpful! He took the time to offer suggestions and had a smile on his face the whole time. The food was fresh and somehow they weren't out of anything even despite the rush. I LOVE CAVA!!! It's a TASTY yet HEALTHY CHOICE TO EAT when you walk in you are greeted and if you see a line no worries because it flows , they offer indoor and outdoor seating and the restrooms are clean. They also have healthy choice drinks. the picture below is the "Bowl" you have a choice of different greens or Rice "brown or yellow",, lentils as your base, then a choice of meats.. chicken, braised lamb ( which is my personal favorite) don't get me wrong. First time eating here and I'm thinking to myself; "WHATS TAKEN ME SO LONG!???" Oh my gosh! I ordered to Harissa Avocado bowl and modified it by subbing the rice for black lentils, and swapping the grilled chicken out for tue harissa chicken (spicy doesn't agree with me very well) and the Herb Tahini..... oh my gosh (insert drool emoji here) - it was the BOMB!! Between the absolutely delicious feta, the fresh avocado, pickled onions and whatever delicious green sauce is on here- I didn't know where to start and didn't want to finish my meal it was that good. Smaller portions than other CAVAs. I drive a lot for work and have been to about six different CAVAs. And since this CAVA is closest to where I live, I have been to this one about six times, but it has been my least favorite CAVA most of the time. Love the food, but, the portions have been generally smaller here. Now I know you can ask for more, but its really a matter of learning the art of asking for more because I am so used to consistency in counter service outfits. This chain as a whole is still in its infancy as well, and so I am anticipating great things in the future. But at this particular CAVA, it seems like they are purposely suppressing portion size. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are symbol of UNPROFESSIONALISM. They are regularly short staffed (or if fully staffed just standing there doing nothing ). No customer service etiquette. The line can be long and they are just chatting in the kitchen , no acknowledgment no nothing. We are a regular Cava goer and this is the only store we have problem with. No matter what time of the day we show up, they are out of something or lentils are uncooked. Very disappointed. This is a consistent pattern. It Is not just one bad day. New management SUCKS!!! Everything that was wonderful about this particular location before is now the absolute worst. Uncooked food, twisting franchise guidelines to give no personal options. Quantity is less attitude is worse getting 100% less overall for your money won't go here ever again after 10 years of weekly dining. I love CAVA! Think Chipotle but with Mediterranean food. The best option is the build your own bowl. I love that you can choose from their fresh ingredients and create your very own perfect meal. This location in particular is the best one I've been to so far. They never skimp on portions and are always super friendly. I decided to give this location a try after having a so so experience with a different one. When it was my turn to assemble my bowl, I was greeted by a staffer named Jade. She took her time to explain my options and happily provided recommendations. She was super kind and patient. I really appreciate her friendly service. As for the food, it was like a Chipotle with a Mediterranean twist. I'm really glad the food was warm, fresh, and tasty. Portions were great as well. I really enjoyed their hummus, it was tasty. I definitely will be coming to this location when I'm in the mood for Cava. read more

I really need to stop ordering through the app here... It's never ready when the app says it is, and there's always one thing or another wrong with it. Tonight I got the wrong sauce with my food, and it changed the entire experience. I had to stop eating because it seems like I'm have an allergic reaction to this sauce. I would know for sure if I knew what sauce it is, but I literally have no idea which one it is... Also they forgot one out of two free pitas, like you're already there, just do another. But maybe because they just started my order when I arrived they missed it. read more

Every time I have ordered for pick up, since I like to avoid the line, they have been 15-20 minutes behind on online orders, even if the place is fairly empty. And when I finally get my order, there's always something missing. Food is great- just get in line. read more

My family and I always enjoy dining here. Food is always fresh! But the last couple of times we ate here, service was as lacking. Going through the line, we had 3 people help us. Not one smile from any one of them and it looked like they all hated working there. Portions have been hit and miss lately. Sometimes the bowls come with such small portions, and other times, it's an average portion. Wish they wipe up the tables and counters more often. At times it can be pretty dirty. read more

Got a build your own pita with falafel, extremely good as always; the falafel seems to always be made in small fresh batches, the pita is extremely soft, and the vegetables are nice and crisp. This location can get busy at peak lunch hours and dinner hours, but after that it's really easy to order in-store. The employee Renee who put together my pita wrapped it well so little to nothing fell out, so thank you! As for the portions, I'd say it's very well priced. I love Mediterranean food. I went to CAVA with hopes in finding a new spot to get my falafel fix. This place was not it!! I'm pretty sure it's "Mediterranean inspired". It's like a Mediterranean Chipotle. The flavors are not really there. It's bland. The prep stations were dirty and messy with sauce and ingredients scattered all over. I got a falafel bowl and my daughter got a pita wrap. The falafel was not ground chickpeas. It's was whole fried chickpea balls, the texture was off and they had zero flavor. They over did it with the sauce on both my bowl and my daughter's pita wrap. She had to use a napkin and fork to scrape the sauce off, the pita was saturated with sauce and fell apart when she tried to pick it up. I will definitely not be going back read more

Cava food quality is great, however, this location is not well managed, understaffed with unhappy employees and very poor, slow, unpleasant service. Waited in order line 25 minutes to pay $20 for a bowl of rice, hummus, veggies, a small portion of chicken and four slices of small avocado. No pita bread. I won't go back. read more

I went to CAVA around 4pm on 3/30/25. It was my first time there and the systems were down. However, the staff remained calm, cool, and collected. They continued with everyone's order and charged nothing. Really appreciate how they handled a crappy situation for everyone. Plus my bowl as great. read more

I was genuinely really disappointed with my visit to this CAVA location today. After a long day of work, I was actually looking forward to grabbing CAVA because it's usually one of my go-to spots when I want something quick, fresh, and worth the price. I decided to try this location instead of my usual one, and honestly, I regret it. The bowl I received was shockingly underfilled, literally about 3/4 empty. For the price CAVA charges, this felt ridiculous. They were extremely skimpy with everything, even the rice, which is probably the cheapest base ingredient on the entire menu. The portions were so small it honestly looked like someone had already taken a few bites before handing it to me. The most frustrating part was the protein. I paid for chicken and could barely find any. While eating, I think I found maybe 2 or 3 actual pieces of chicken in the entire bowl. That's unacceptable when protein is one of the main things you're paying extra for. I opened my brother's bowl thinking maybe mine was just a mistake, but his looked just as bad, same tiny portions, barely any protein, and just overall careless preparation. What makes this feel especially frustrating is that it comes across as intentionally cutting corners to save costs at the customer's expense. People are paying premium prices expecting a full, satisfying meal, not a half-empty bowl with missing ingredients. Being cheap on portions, especially on basics like rice and protein, feels scummy because customers are trusting that they're getting what they paid for. Consistency matters, and this location completely missed the mark. I've had much better experiences at other CAVA locations, which makes this even more disappointing. I left feeling like I wasted my money instead of enjoying a meal I was actually excited for. Definitely not the standard I expect from CAVA. read more

Then Once we got to the restaurant we just called to let them know we were there and they walked up with our food! Great service, the food tasted fresh. Love their eggplant and roasted pepper dip and tzatziki! The garlic dip is strong but tasty. Watch out, the harissa sauce is SPICY! I really liked that it showed the caloric amount while building the bowl. It made me adjust my order according to my diet! I highly suggest doing a 1/2 meat 1/2 roasted veggie combo. It was so good! I came in today with my daughter during what seemed to be their rush. It was about noon and I noticed only two people on the line serving while one of the managers helped bring more topping forward, cooking food, and doing some online orders. They were working really well together and seemed to be happy serving us. I noticed when they didn't have a line, they would clean up their line and came out to the lobby to wipe down tables and talk to the customers. It was honestly a really great experience!
