It's a counter fast food service so the staff is always just gonna be the staff nothing they can't really do anything to go above and beyond and as long as they're not like throwing my food around, I don't care. I decided to give this location a try after having a so so experience with a different one. When it was my turn to assemble my bowl, I was greeted by a staffer named Jade. She took her time to explain my options and happily provided recommendations. She was super kind and patient. I really appreciate her friendly service. One of the worst Cava's in the area. The food is ok, what's wrong is the management. They're always out of something when I come here. They have no sense of urgency when they make orders. You'll stand in line and no one will address or acknowledge you while they focus on mobile orders as the line in store backs up. This is a consistent problem that needs to be addressed. They had sour cream and onions and I just adore it so much. It taste so delicious and I love it because if everything there is healthy, they use olive oil. The portion was on the smaller side but the more bites I took the more addictive the bowl became! If you're needing a boost of protein - I highly recommend the right rice! I'm not typically one to complain or leave bad reviews but I was very disappointed in my experience at this cava today. I went around lunchtime and the portions were incredibly small and the service was largely unfriendly. I wound up paying $25 for a build your own bowl and drink but the portions were significantly smaller than I have gotten at other locations like Brea. For example, I asked for avocado (a few dollars up charge ) but received under half of a very small avocado. When I got to the cashier and ordered a drink, he told me they only have one size large drinks when I asked for a small, even though I saw the size small cups on the counter, have gotten a small at other locations, and even confirmed in the online order portal that a small drink is indeed a thing. It feels like I got scammed into paying for a larger drink. Overall very unsatisfied with my visit today and do not intend on returning to this location. For what you pay here, it's absolutely not worth it. read more
