Got the Grilled Steak & Harissa Honey Chicken bowl ($16). It's a good spot to get your veggies since you customize your own base, toppings, and dressing. Flavor: The spicy items have a good kick and different flavor profiles. Portions: Decent size bowls, though the meat portions felt a little light for the price. Setting: Indoor and outdoor seating available.

A CAVA bowl is usually two meals for me, in fact, I sometimes get a kids meal if I don't want leftovers. But today when my husband asked what I wanted from CAVA, I opted for a normal bowl so I could have lunch tomorrow too. He ordered online and picked up, luckily checked the bag before he left because the pita was missing. Came home, we opened our bowls and were very disappointed. They were barely half way full and complete sloppy messes. Usually the sauces are placed nicely on top to be able to dip the pita in, but it was all mixed together and I couldn't tell what was what. I asked for broccoli and didn't get it. There was also huge chunks of feta that I did not order, it made it way too salty. My lamb meatballs, which are usually delicious, were on the verge of being burnt and were dense like hockey pucks. This was definitely not worth $15. My husband said the last time he got food from this location, it was also a tiny portion, but he thought it was a one off. Unfortunately Orange was closed today which is why he went to Anaheim Hills, but he said he won't be ordering from this store again.

This location is 3 miles from me which is great. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Staff were nice and helpful, establishment is clean and plenty of parking spaces in this location. We both got the spicy chicken avocado bowl, it was very good, fresh and generous amount of food. We asked if they offer any military discount and to our surprise they do at least for this location. We definitely will be coming back. Great food great service and lots of parking, highly recommended!

What has happened to CAVA? -- the flavors are great and the ingredients are usually fresh -- but the portions have dropped substantially lately. What used to be a generous, satisfying bowl now looks half-filled, and for the price it just doesn't feel worth it anymore. On top of that, my last order had multiple issues: one bowl was missing broccoli, they forgot to include the pita (so I had to ask for it), and the lamb meatballs were hard, dry, and so overcooked they might as well have been hockey pucks. The food here used to feel reliable, but between the shrinking portions and the careless preparation, the experience has really gone downhill. I hope they turn it around, because right now it's just disappointing.

This review is based on cava via Uber eats/DoorDash etc... Im disgusted that they take zero precautions when ordering through a food delivery service. The bag was not sealed, the contents of the bag (one bowl and one small bag with pita bread) was not even closed and had no stickers, no seals, nothing My food could have so easily been tampered with and I would've had absolutely no idea. I'm not saying my driver did anything, my food looked fine but unfortunately I will not be eating it. I have seen and heard horror stories about what some drivers do to the food they're delivering which I'm pretty sure is why most other restaurants have taken precaution and started sealing (at least) the BAG closed. I've NEVER ordered from any food delivery service and not had some kind of seal either on the item or the bag. Most places seal all of the items and also the bag. I found it so strange and unsanitary when I opened my front door and saw an open bag with my bowl and another small open bag inside of it with my bread. I'm actually very shocked that Cava takes zero precautions with food delivery services and think this should be addressed.

I am not sure the rating is so high. The food is decent but not better than average. Good take out food maybe. First they have so many people working and you have to wait for them to be free to help you. I think they work on take out orders. I told the person it was my first time and they didn't really help me in a way I feel was beneficial. I had to ask him about the chives. Then when we took our food home I saw the fried wonton chips on my son bowl. What I would have gotten a crunchy item... I saw it but they didn't say I could make a pick them that area. I was disappointed. The food taste.. the spicy meatballs was dry and the chicken was just as dry. The bowl was good with the sauces and the combination I picked but the protein was disappointing. Would I go back maybe but I am going to other places to try before I go back here. The menu was such a small print and not easy to understand of how it works. IMO

This was a return visit to Cava to enjoy the fresh Mediterranean fare. You can pretty much customize your bowls as to grain, greens and toppings. The food portions are generous and satisfying. As usual, the staff were fast, efficient and friendly. With just two tables occupied, all the remaining twelve or so tables were not clean from previous diners. After moving from two dirty tables, we succumbed to clean our table to use. The food is good but next time we'll do take-out.

They give you 1/2 the amount of food than other Cavas. For $20/ bowl. Rip off. Wouldn't waste money again

I've been to a few Cava locations, but this one is my favorite! They're very generous with portions and entire team is very friendly. There's usually a short line around 12PM but it moves quickly. You start by choosing a base of greens/grains, dip (thick sauce), meat (chicken and braised lamb are my favs), toppings, then dressing (spicy harissa is delicious and not spicy). I love Cava - Its healthy and always feel full but not heavy afterwards!

Really poor customer service. They were out of hummus and I was told they were out for the day. they gave me a hard time about dips on the side, the worker gave attitude about having to get more of sides from the back, ice machine was out, and was told they only had large cups and I was charged for a large after asking for a regular. overall just a poor experience with staff and their lack of having things prepared and taken care of read more

It's very disappointing having to write such a negative review on a place I had been wanting to try for months but unfortunately I feel that this situation needs to be made aware to management and the rest of the staff. Today I placed a huge online order for myself and my coworkers. I spoke so highly of this place because of all the great things I had heard. I drove 30 minutes to pick up the order, and drive back. When I arrived back, we all realized that of all things they forgot to add the protein to all our bowls. Some of us paid extra for premium protein and they carelessly forgot to include ANY. When I called them to let them know they directed me to their support email to request a refund. I really hope management sees this and implements better training because this is entirely unacceptable. Just ended up spending $90 on lettuce and rice.... read more

Just ordered from this location and was sadly disappointed. I love the food, always tastes amazing. What I don't appreciate is the employees closing the kitchen over an hour before their closing time and refusing to replenish any of the toppings or sauces. The one man helping me felt bad that everything was gone. While the other 2 who seemed to be in charge didn't care about the situation or the customer. I mentioned how early it was to have things closed and they didn't seem to care. People came to the establishment and I told them to not waste their time and go somewhere else if they weren't going to get what they usually like. Sadly disappointed and hope the manager does something about the lack of work ethic for the 2 workers that weren't helpful at all. My visit was on a Saturday night at 9pm. 3 men working total- one younger gentleman handled everything as well as he could. read more

I've heard about this place for the longest time and wasn't quite sure what kind of food they offered but after hearing about it from my girlfriend and her sister, I had to try this place out. She has been raving about it for the past couple weeks so we decided to hit this place up for an early lunch to avoid the rush. Got myself a half brown rice, half arugula bowl. Got their tzatziki and crazy feta for my dips. There was a special spicy chicken available and I went with that for an extra charge. I topped my bowl off with basically all of their toppings except for kalamata olives and crumbled feta. For my sauce, I went with their yogurt dill and their green harissa. Everything tasted very fresh and was really filling. Portions are very good for the price. 100% recommend for some Mediterranean food, Chipotle style. read more

PRE-VISIT REVIEW: I've never been here before and have had a curiosity about this restaurant. Have purchased their spreads / dips from Whole Foods Market before. Per questions asked on Twitter their chicken is hormone-free, antibiotics-free and non-GMO. And they source organic whenever possible. After reviewing the menu I plan to order a grain bowl with saffron basmati rice, hummus, crazy feta, harissa, chicken, tomato + cucumber, cauliflower quinoa tabbouleh, shredded romaine and seasonal dressing. I also think a write-up on CAVA would add some variety to my reviews. ACTUAL VISIT: Was here at around 4:00 pm on a Thursday and there were quite a few people there. Line moved along at an average pace. Their food exceeded my expectations. I love rice. The crazy feta added cheesiness and the harissa added spice enhancing the flavor of the other ingredients. Some thought went into the chicken which had an ideal balance of seasonings giving it perfect flavor. Added a strawberry citrus drink for a more complete culinary restaurant experience. I thought it missed the mark by its watered-down taste though. They do carry a nice assortment of soft drinks and juices. Today's visit made for an enjoyable day as well as satisfied my hunger and curiosity about CAVA, thank you. read more

My husband and I are addicted to Cava (we come here 2-4 times a week!). Staff is very friendly and patient especially during lunch and dinner rush. Portions can vary though depending on who is making your bowl. The pita bread offering is also inconsistent. It has happened twice where we've arrived at home and discovered that our pita breads are missing. They forgot to scoot the pita bread down the line with our bowls! As a best practice given all of the bowl handoffs, the cashier should really be checking this. Hopefully this feedback is received and can be improved. I hope Cava keeps up with the generous portions and quality! read more

I'd best describe CAVA as Chipotle style quick service food but Mediterranean. The ingredients are fresher and there are more options for those that want extra greens and flavor! My go to order is the Greens & Grains bowl with half arugula & saffron basmati rice with grilled chicken, roasted eggplant, tzatziki & crazy feta with the tomato+cucumber sides and fire roasted corn. There are several great dressings you can choose from but some of my favorites are the tahini caesar, lemon herb tahini and garlic dressing! Service is a hit or miss depending on the location you go to but always quick and efficient. This particular location has ample indoor and outdoor sitting and is situated in a large shopping plaza. I also appreciate how the price is so reasonable with the endless options you get. Tip: you must get pita crisps with your bowl as it adds a nice crunch & contrast! They also have an app where you can order for pick up and accumulate points for your purchases! read more

I was genuinely really disappointed with my visit to this CAVA location today. After a long day of work, I was actually looking forward to grabbing CAVA because it's usually one of my go-to spots when I want something quick, fresh, and worth the price. I decided to try this location instead of my usual one, and honestly, I regret it. The bowl I received was shockingly underfilled, literally about 3/4 empty. For the price CAVA charges, this felt ridiculous. They were extremely skimpy with everything, even the rice, which is probably the cheapest base ingredient on the entire menu. The portions were so small it honestly looked like someone had already taken a few bites before handing it to me. The most frustrating part was the protein. I paid for chicken and could barely find any. While eating, I think I found maybe 2 or 3 actual pieces of chicken in the entire bowl. That's unacceptable when protein is one of the main things you're paying extra for. I opened my brother's bowl thinking maybe mine was just a mistake, but his looked just as bad, same tiny portions, barely any protein, and just overall careless preparation. What makes this feel especially frustrating is that it comes across as intentionally cutting corners to save costs at the customer's expense. People are paying premium prices expecting a full, satisfying meal, not a half-empty bowl with missing ingredients. Being cheap on portions, especially on basics like rice and protein, feels scummy because customers are trusting that they're getting what they paid for. Consistency matters, and this location completely missed the mark. I've had much better experiences at other CAVA locations, which makes this even more disappointing. I left feeling like I wasted my money instead of enjoying a meal I was actually excited for. Definitely not the standard I expect from CAVA. read more

Then Once we got to the restaurant we just called to let them know we were there and they walked up with our food! Great service, the food tasted fresh. Love their eggplant and roasted pepper dip and tzatziki! The garlic dip is strong but tasty. Watch out, the harissa sauce is SPICY! I really liked that it showed the caloric amount while building the bowl. It made me adjust my order according to my diet! I highly suggest doing a 1/2 meat 1/2 roasted veggie combo. It was so good! I came in today with my daughter during what seemed to be their rush. It was about noon and I noticed only two people on the line serving while one of the managers helped bring more topping forward, cooking food, and doing some online orders. They were working really well together and seemed to be happy serving us.
