Minestrone soup, served without the usual pasta & beans
Angela B.

Marri's Pizza is tucked in a very small shopping strip on Santa Ana Canyon Road. If it you aren't using your GPS you'd easily drive right past it. Parking is limited. My friend heard about this place on one of the OC Facebook Buzz accounts and wanted to check it out. Let's just say our visit today was far from Buzz-worthy. While the interior arrangement looked cozy/homey, once we sat down there wasn't any cozy to be felt. The dining room was cold and the jazz music playing was turned up to more than background sounding. There seemed to only be one woman working and she wasn't very welcoming. My friend arrived at 11AM when they opened. (I was running late as usual ). Knowing that a pizza would take a little longer to prepare and bake, she decided to place the order right away. The woman working told her they don't start pizzas before 11:30. If your restaurant opens at 11, why choose to delay pizza baking??? Since we had to wait for the pizza to cook AND the restaurant was cold, we decided to order their minestrone soup to start with and hopefully help warm us up. The soup did come up quickly. It wasn't like any minestrone soup I'd ever had. Theirs had no pasta, no beans, and lacked seasoning. At least it warmed us up while we waited for the pizza. Side note on beverages. If you're a Coke fan like I am, prepare for disappointment. Generally when only Pepsi is offered I opt for unsweetened iced tea. Although fresh brewed iced tea is on the menu, they no longer serve it. Tap water it is then. Finally, the pizza arrived at our table. We chose the Hawaiian (pineapple on pizza haters, please don't judge). They were very generous with the cheese. The ham and pineapple, however, were very sparse. There wasn't any real flavor that stood out, just copious amounts of cheese. The sauce didn't even give it a flavor boost. The crust was nothing special either. Even after adding chili flakes and parm, the flavor was still underwhelming. I even tried adding the table pepper to it to see if it would help ~ it did not. After paying the bill we never saw the server again. No "thanks for coming, I hope you enjoyed your meal", nothing. All things considered, there are plenty of other pizza/Italian places in the area that have better food and have workers who actually appreciate our business. We most likely not be coming back.

We just had a luncheon today for a local middle school catering with Marri's, it was a big hit! Delicious food and very cost effective pricing. We loved all of it. We ordered salad, garlic bread lasagna, spaghetti and chicken Alfredo. The flavors were perfect! They were ready on time and hot! All the teachers and staff were impressed. They kept asking where we had gotten food from. If you don't know this little gem I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try. They have other locations in Anaheim and Long Beach. They are hiring if anyone needs a job. Great food and service. Consider them for your next lunch, family meal or catered event. Pizza and sandwiches are also amazing!!

Visited this little hidden gem for the first time. Parking was easy right in front. Inside it is a small, casual place but everything is clean and the staff was very friendly. Our dinner came out quickly was hot and fresh and quite tasty. They have a great selection on the menu and I look forward to returning and trying the various offerings. Two thumbs up!

Sauce wasn't tasty and pizza was blah. Still on the search for great pizza. It wasn't here.

The pasta sauce tasted very sour, and the meatball on top wasn't even warm. It seemed like it was simply taken from a tray and placed on top of the pasta. The antipasto salad was mostly lettuce with very little meat or toppings. The penne with pink sauce was good, so that was the highlight of the meal. Overall, I felt the food was overpriced for what we received. Honestly, I've had better food and a better value at Olive Garden. Sorry to say, but I expected more. Service was great! Very kind

I visited this place today, 8/23/26, with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. When I placed my order, I specifically asked for pepperoni, ricotta cheese, and basil. The cashier told me the order would look different on the receipt, so when I saw salami listed, I assumed that was what she meant and didn't think much of it. Additionally, I placed an order for a 2-liter Dr Pepper and five cups. When I asked for ice, the cashier initially took the cups and then she said there was no ice, but then I heard her inform her younger male coworker that there actually was ice. Mind you they gave ice to other customers. She also made a comment about there being five of us. At that point, her attitude came across as unnecessarily petty and unprofessional. She later told me they didn't have basil, so I asked for olives as a replacement. We waited approximately 25-30 minutes for the pizza. When it finally came out, there was no pepperoni on it, despite pepperoni being part of the order I originally placed. I showed the cashier my receipt and explained that I had specifically requested pepperoni, ricotta cheese, and basil. She insisted that she had repeated my order correctly, but the receipt actually reflected the items I had requested. Instead of simply correcting the mistake, I was charged extra for the pepperoni, even though it was an issue with the original order. On top of that and once our pepperoni was added the second time, we waited about 15 plus, additional minutes. the younger male employee was trying to flag me down to come get my order rather than bringing it to the table. At that point, after everything else, I said "No, you bring it over here." The audacity of them requesting I go pick up my pizza was crazy. I really hope that their manager reads this review. I'll be reviewing this on their website as well. The pizza itself was alright, but honestly, it wasn't worth dealing with the attitude, the ordering mistake on their part, the extra charge, and the overall experience. I came in willing to give this place a try, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and neither will the families of the children I brought along with us. They already spoke to their parents about this I unnecessary experience. Mistakes happen, but how you treat customers when mistakes happen makes all the difference. This experience was disappointing from start to finish. The staff was immature and the cashier (only female) had a crappy attitude.

We first noticed Wise Guys Pizzeria while checking out the shopping center on Chapman. It was packed with families dining in and had a steady stream of takeout orders, so we put it on our list to try. We finally went this weekend, and I'm so glad we did. My husband ordered Carmine's Pastrami with a salad, and I ordered the personal Milan pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by just how delicious the pizza was! The combination of sweet and spicy sausage, caramelized onions, and mushrooms was excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you could really taste the difference. But the crust was the standout for me. It was perfectly crisp while still soft and doughy inside the perfect combination. It's honestly one of the best pizza crusts I've had compared with the other pizza places we've tried in the area. We're watching our calories right now, so we skipped the wings this time, but they're definitely next on our list. I also can't wait to try some of the pasta dishes and the gelato! Wise Guys is now at the top of my list for pizza in Orange. The service during our takeout order was excellent. We also didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and very family-friendly. It has that relaxed neighborhood pizza-place feel where you can come as you are, bring the kids, and enjoy a meal without anything feeling too formal or rushed. Even though it was busy, it felt lively and welcoming. Finding a place we're this excited about means a lot since we're still relatively new to the area and hadn't really found a local spot we were crazy about. That has officially changed! And I'll have to update this review with pictures next time because everything looked so good when it arrived that we just dug in! I'm already looking forward to going back and bringing friends and family.

I ate at another Round Table in Fullerton several years ago, but I honestly can't recall much about it. I searched my email for pizza and found a code for $6 off a large pizza. Since I've given up on delivery (it's too expensive and unreliable), I've placed an order online for pickup. I left almost immediately after I received the confirmation. In planning my route, I knew I had to enter on Katella heading west, which meant I had to swing around the east side of the 55 onto Katella. After pulling in, I realized I could have entered on Tustin just past Miguel's Jr., as the parking lots are all connected. Now I know. Walking in, this reminds me of an old-fashioned pizza place. Although it was older, it was clean and somewhat dark. They had a good-sized game room in the back. They had a salad bar, something scarce these days. I did notice they had Pepsi. Ick. Well, no one can be perfect. The pizza was ready when I got there. They asked if I wanted peppers or cheese (I got cheese), and I was on my way. Upon arriving home, the pizza looked a little burnt, but it certainly didn't taste burnt. In fact, it was pretty dang good. I also passed the microwave test the next day. It was also nicely cut, which I like. I don't mind stringy cheese, mind you, but I don't like it when you pull cheese from the slice next to it.

My biggest question is: It's Tuesday--why can't we order a small or medium pizza? I asked the manager on site, but they didn't seem interested in discussing it, so I simply left. To make matters worse, they apparently don't answer their phone or respond to emails, making it nearly impossible to get clarification beforehand. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
