Stopped by because I was craving mozzarella sticks and I witnessed an awkward confrontation that made me so uncomfortable. While I was waiting for my order a delivery driver came to pick up an order. He asked to use the restroom, and there was some kind of confrontation where they refused to let him use the bathroom even though he was picking up food from that establishment. I don't understand why they made a big deal about it, he got a bit aggravated because of it and while I don't condone his response I just don't like how "the owner" handled it. An older disgruntled woman made a big deal about him asking to use the restroom and made a scene when she could have just pointed to the bathroom and let him use it and go. Her face told me everything I needed to know. I will not be patronizing this establishment again, she had a condescending demeanor and was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. Love this place. I double up my savings by using the upside app for 15% cash back, and also the five stars app to get points towards a free pizza. Hands down the best ranch dressing. The pizza is very tasty with real crust. Perfectly cooked. I love both the garden salad and the antipasto. My friend loves the sausage with peppers sandwich (don't know what it's called). Soda with free refills. Help yourself boxes for leftovers. Paper towels instead of napkins. I'm not into sports and Fox News so I just don't bother looking at the tv. Parking is a breeze. read more

Lamppost Pizza of Orange was a five-star experience for our group. We came after a basketball tournament, and the timing was perfect. The owner was a very nice guy and made us feel welcome. Our server, Jhayr, was the MVP. He asked everyone what they wanted, double checked to make sure drinks were covered, and kept the whole group organized. The pizza came out fast, the kids loved it, and we grabbed a salad too so we could keep it a little balanced. Not as good as the Corona location. I was sooooo disappointed in Lamppost Pizza Orange! I am a huge fan of Lamppost Pizza in Corona! Been going to that location for yearsssss. Literally, for team parties in high school and with family in junior high. I may have aged myself there lol It's fine. Just letting you guys know how special Lamppost Pizza is to me and my family. That way you understand the disappointment I feel right now. It tasted like the same ingredients. I can tell that Lamppost makes their own sauce, and they use a really good mozzarella cheese. The best cheese in-fact. Those things were consistent with the Corona location. What differed was the crust or pizza dough. It had no taste. Was bland and maybe overcooked. It wasn't buttery with a nice flavor like Corona's crust. The dough was overcooked and not enjoyable to eat. We ordered two large pizzas with extra cheese, and no one finished their slices. Our family immediately didn't like the dough. It just wasn't good. Total waste of money. Sure, the cheese and toppings were good. But the dough and crust are really important when it comes to pizza. While dining, I overheard the manager or owner telling an Uber driver that drivers are not permitted to use the restrooms during their visit. I was shocked and couldn't believe what I heard. The Uber Eats driver was waiting for a pickup, and they refused her access to the bathroom. This should be illegal in a public restaurant. As a former delivery driver myself, I believe the restaurant should provide restroom access for anyone earning money for them. I won't be returning to this restaurant. read more

We came here on a Friday evening. This is a very large pizza place; great for gatherings! We ordered a small combo pizza and two 16 oz draft beers. The total was $50. This place could do so much better if they lowered their pieces. My husband said he went to a location in the IE and that restaurant offered specials like buy a pizza and get a second for $5. Better than I expected! I grew up going to lamppost pizzas after games, and from what I remember it's kind of gross greasy pizza. Well I'm happy to report it is not that! Our school had a fundraiser here so my husband picked up a pepperoni pizza and the Greek chicken pizza. My only complaint is the Greek didn't have as much flavor. I couldn't taste the sauce at all. Food is delicious. Mike is awesome my whole family knows him. We have been coming here since i was a kid and it's been decades. The price is much higher than I think it should be even with the rise in food costs. Large pizza salad 4 drinks is almost $100. The service is ok. It's definitely changed throughout the years. They start rushing you out and are like we are closing soon and will come to remind you. For the amount of money you spend I feel like you shouldn't feel so rushed. It is unfortunate so many of the locations closed, so I am glad this one is still here so my kid can have the same post-game pizza experience I had growing up. The pizza here is some of the best. They have a great crust that is crispy on the outside with good chewiness in the center. It is worth the extra cost. Although this is a hole in the wall strip mall location, there are lots of tables and an assortment of arcade games. There is plenty of space to bring the whole team. The staff are great and if you call a day or two in advance to let them know you are coming, they will be prepared and offer great service. We considered staying, but Justin's agitated and annoyed looks, along with his whispering and eye-rolling with the cook, made the decision for us. Awesome Pizza place. We had lunch here today with some friends. I have not been to Lamppost Pizza in a while. We had a table of 5, and we ordered 2 large barbecue Chicken pizzas, and one regular large Pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. Both pizzas are good. Pizzas are really big too.
