The tomatoes were hearty and cut a perfect thickness. Could have used more balsamic for me, but my husband liked it fine. Chef special: Swordfish picatta with mashed potatoes, vegetables & tiny salad - 4/5 This was good. The picatta sauce was delicious and the fish cooked perfectly. I would have liked a mix of different vegetables. Lasagna - 5/5 - this was my favorite. It was cheesy, served very hot, the noodles were not mushy. Just deliciousness on a plate. The service at the bar was outstanding. Our server was attentive and offered us as much bread as we wanted. He went over the menu and offered suggestions. We only drank water and the cup was always full. He was great! Seating - there was plenty of seating, so was not sure why we were only offered a choice of 2 tables both basically on top of the party next to you. I feel they can do better in that department. There was seating outside, which was also offered, but it was way too hot and humid that day to dine al fresco. We ending up sitting at the bar. Forced tipping: They add a "kitchen appreciation" fee to your bill, which I did not care for. I feel this is tacky, but if they are doing this, it should be posted somewhere that they are, feels sneaky otherwise. The food was very good & I will likely be back to try other dishes.

I initially wasn't going to write a review but I saw someone gave the restaurant 1 star 20 days ago…read morefor a similar situation that happened to us so I decided to do the same. My husband and I came across the restaurant on a Saturday at 430pm. We had our baby stroller and have been mindful on avoiding dinner rushes while going to restaurants, just in case. The Host asked us if we were a party of "3 and a half" which we laughed and said yes. We waited outside where there is patio seating and only a couple of tables taken. Inside, there were people at the bar and maybe one table occupied. The rest were open. I could see through the windows that the staff made a big deal about the stroller, they were walking around making hand motions as to where the stroller would "fit" mind you we've been to plenty of restaurants where this has NEVER been an issue. They came out to speak to us twice stating they were looking for a spot. I told my husband we should just eat elsewhere but he insisted on waiting. We did not want to sit outside due to it being hot. The host finally returned and said that they have reservations and can seat us at a table but we have an hour limit due to the reservation. My husband obliged b/c he was hungry, and I was annoyed. We got seated in the back which is fine by the big display of wine and our stroller replaced a chair. Which idk why that wasn't suggested or thought of in the first place. Our server was very nice but the other staff just kept side eyeing us. Dinner was rushed, it was tasty yet over priced. Our baby slept the entire time, No fuss thankfully. What were they to do if they had someone in a wheel chair and couldn't accommodate space? I know the comparison is far fetched compared to a stroller however it was the first time I ever encountered this. Since someone else made a comment about them not being seated due to a stroller, I would suggest avoiding this restaurant if you have small children as it seems it's not welcomed. Again, we were mindful and have been going to dinner before 5pm.

After hearing so many good things about this place we decided to come and give it a try. This place is not big , it had maybe like 15 tables, it tucked away in the back of a shopping center. We walked in and were seated right away. Our waitress came over and explained the specials and we ordered an appetizer and our drinks. I ordered a mocktail and my husband ordered a Negroni. They just recently got their liquor license so they just started with the cocktails. For our appetizer we went with the carpaccio, it was absolutely delicious. The lemony sauce was so good and it is topped with some arugula and served with some toast. I would order this again. For our entree I ordered the Frutti d mare and my husband ordered the cannelloni Romano. The cannelloni Romano are 3 crepes stuffed with chicken , spinach and cheese and topped with more cheese and a red past sauce. My husband enjoyed them very much. We have actually never seen this served in another Italian restaurant before. My Frutti d Mar was also very delicious, it had scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari.Served with some linguine in a delicious red broth. So delicious. Now I can understand why this place has been around this long. I heard that the same chef has been making those dishes for 36 years or maybe more. That's a great consistency to have. We will definitely be back to try some more delicious food.

I…read morestill remember the old deli that was there prior to this restaurant and I've seen numerous social media ads and posts about the place so I wanted to check it out. I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Anyways, I'm giving my review of a five star because I wanna see this place succeed and I'll definitely come back .

The pasta sauce tasted very sour, and the meatball on top wasn't even warm. It seemed like it was simply taken from a tray and placed on top of the pasta. Overall, I felt the food was overpriced for what we received. Honestly, I've had better food and a better value at Olive Garden. Sorry to say, but I expected more. Service was great! Very kind

I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, and the receipt clearly showed "pepperoni." I paid for the pepperoni... only to get home and discover that it was actually a cheese pizza. In hindsight, I probably should have opened the box before leaving to double-check the order, but I honestly didn't think I needed to inspect the pizza box to make sure what I paid for was inside. To make matters more comical, I had also ordered a personal cheese pizza for my little boy so I somehow ended up coming home with TWO cheese pizzas. Needless to say, we are now absolutely drowning in cheese pizza. As for the pizza itself, the cheese pizza was just okay for me. The cheese tasted a little lower quality, with what seemed like some Italian seasoning sprinkled on top. Nothing terrible, but not quite what I was expecting given the restaurant's reputation. We also ordered meatballs, and I'm not sure if they were cooked or held at the proper temperature. By the time we got home, they were room temperature and had a very soft/squishy texture, which made me hesitant to eat them. Overall, just a disappointing first experience especially because I was genuinely excited to try this place based on the reviews. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but between the incorrect order and the food quality, rough times over here.

It was stuck badly enough that the manager had to come over and repeatedly work my heel back and forth to get it out, which left the patent leather visibly dented and damaged. What bothered me more than my damaged heel was what happened next. I was asked to fill out an incident report at the table, during dinner, but we were never moved from the area. Nothing was adjusted on our bill and we were simply left at the same table. Sure enough, when I stood up later to go to the ladies room, my heel went into the grate AGAIN. This time I lost my balance and nearly fell. Thankfully, I caught myself. The first time was an accident. The second time was frustrating because they already knew exactly what had happened and how easily a heel could get caught there. Moving us to another table would have prevented it. The manager was kind and empathetic, and I want to be fair about that. My disappointment is with how the situation was handled after the problem was known. So ladies, if you're dining on the patio in heels, watch where you step.
