Hands down one of the best pizza spots in Orange County We visited Zito's Pizza on Tustin St and honestly it blew our expectations away. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It has that rare family-owned vibe where you can tell the people running the place genuinely care about the food and the customers. All four locations are run by the same family and it really shows in the quality and consistency. First off -- the ingredients are seriously next level. Their pepperoni isn't the typical factory stuff; it's sourced directly and you can taste the difference immediately. They even have jalapeño-infused pepperoni, which is incredible if you like a little kick. The garlic knot bread might be the best I've ever had. Perfectly baked pizza dough knots brushed with garlic butter and dusted with parmesan -- absolutely addictive. The wings are fresh, never frozen, and you can tell. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and tossed in great sauces. And the ranch... wow. They make it fresh in-house and it's easily one of the best ranch dressings I've had anywhere. We were dipping everything in it. The pizza menu is huge with tons of specialty options. We tried a couple and everything tasted fresh and high quality. Here's the crazy part -- three days later we reheated leftover pizza and the cheese still melted like it just came out of the oven. That tells you how fresh the ingredients are. They also have a great happy hour on draft beer and the wine deal is insane -- bottles for just $18 at a dine-in pizza restaurant is almost unheard of. If you have kids, this place is a dream. There are retro arcade games, pinball machines, and claw machines and my kids went absolutely wild. They had so much fun they literally passed out in the car on the way home. The restaurant is huge with tons of seating, which makes it perfect for groups. In fact, after visiting we're now planning to host a birthday party here for 50-60 people because there's so much space. They also have desserts, a big menu with something for everyone (salads, sandwiches, calzones, wings, appetizers, etc.), and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We went to the Tustin St location, but now we're already planning to check out the Orange Circle location soon. We get food to go from here often. The pizza, garlics knots and salad are always perfect! We also get the uncooked dough from time to time when we want to do homemade pizzas. Sunday was a horrible day for my family, our aunt passed suddenly. We got food to go from here and the sweetest guy helped me out. He was being soo nice to me that I cried right in Zitos haha! Poor kid handled it amazing and carried my pizzas out to my car for me. Seriously this guy made a horrible day slightly better with his kindness and even made me laugh. I came here with 2 other families which was a party of 12 including 6 kids and though there was no kids meal, we happily ordered a family style meal with salad, pizza, and the knots including fountain drinks. We had the dinner salad, spaghetti with marinara, cheese pizza, Zito's special, garlic knots, cinnamon knots, sugar knots, soda fountain drinks. My favorite was the pizza and knots especially the sugar knots. Everything was delicious and more than enough food to feed 6 adults and 6 boys; we even had some leftover because we were so full from the carb loading, well worth it though. The kids got to play in the arcade which had pinball machines ( Jaws & Venom), air hockey, basketball, Jurassic Park, and a racing game to name a few. This was an excellent place to have a meal and a play date all rolled into one. The staff were nice and accommodating, the venue was large enough for big parties, and parking was free with spots available. Let's start with the crust..cooked perfectly. Not flat, not overly doughy. We tried this amazing spicy honey one. (Never heard of honey on pizza) but WOW it was good. The Margherita pizza did not disappoint. Finally the Zitos special...FULL of toppings...I mean every space had toppings...they do not scrimp like most places...and the flavor....oh the flavor!!!! We had an amazing time and absolutely delicious food at Zito's Pizza! I am very picky when to come to Alfredo sauce and have never liked it at restaurants, but Zito"s did a great job! I felt like I was eating homemade sauce with lots of garlic, the only way to go! I enjoyed the Bianca pizza as is and then I spruce up an individual serving with sausage, olives and basil. So so sooo good! My son who picks off mushrooms from pizza ate most of my pizza as is and said he's never liked mushrooms on a pizza until he tried Zito"s. That's a big wow! Besides the fantastic food, the service is amazing. Very attentive and friendly staff. The space is so big it's perfect for parties. Yelp should hold an event here! The owner came to our table and chatted with us. We love supporting a local business with great food and great people. We will definitely be coming back and become regulars. Zito's Pizza is a family fave. We have been here for baseball parties, soccer parties, birthday parties, NFL Sunday parties, and simply Friday dinner. The food is great. I typically go with the family meal deal that consists of pizza, garlic knots, and salad or soda. They have friendly service. The ambiance is New York and family friendly. This afternoon, I went to a reserved luncheon party at Zito's pizza, esteemed as the original location, located inside a strip mall in the Villa Park area. It is quite spacious and has plenty of long tables with seats to fit a party of 10 to 25 people. There are overhead televisions with sports games airing on them. I had a customized non-dairy veggie with pineapple pizza that has a cauliflower crust. It was not greasy or over spiced. The cauliflower crust has a nice crunch. My friends loved garlic knots. I did not have them because there was parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The waiter said that you can order the delicious garlic knots without the parmesan cheese topping. There were pitchers of iced water with plastic cups. Most of the persons at my party enjoyed the pepperoni pizza with and without mushrooms. One person said the pepperoni pizza was crisped correctly. My friends also ordered assorted flavored Zito's wings in buffalo sauce, Spicy Honey Pepperoni (Mozzarella cheese topped with jalapeno and pepperoni, drizzled with Mike's Hot Honey) and a Zito House special (pepperoni, ham, mild Italian sausage, bacon, black olives, mushrooms, onions, green bell peppers, & mozzarella cheese) pizzas were ordered. You can order a pizza with Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce. There is beer and wine served besides soda beverages but no mineral water. For vegetarians, there is Vegipasto that has no meat. Deceptively large place that you can't tell from the outside how big it actually is. Good atmosphere, a couple of huge rooms for a get together and parties. There is also an arcade area to keep the kids and adults busy as well. Plenty of TV's all around, great place to watch games or sports. Place was very clean and tidy. Ordering was easy. There was a young dark-haired woman who was at the front who wasn't very friendly, but she wasn't rude either. Could have been having an off day, but hey, don't we all? There were two other guys who came around to check on us and they were very personable and seemed to really be interested in if everything was to our satisfaction. Ordered a couple of different pizzas and a large salad to split. It did take a long time for the pizzas to come out and they were not extra crispy as requested. But they were very tasty regardless. I was just surprised at the time it took because it was pretty empty. Food was good overall, and I would definitely come back. Plenty of toppings on the pizza, they did not skimp. Wish it could have been extra crispy though. The sodas are a serve yourself machine. Only one machine which surprised me for as big as the place was and how many people the place could hold. Would be better if they had two. Even though it was not that busy (1/4 full) we still had to wait on others before we could refill. Also, the Dr. Pepper was a bit watery. I mentioned it to the guy behind the bar but never got any feedback. When I went to refill and it was still watery, I switched to a different product, and it was fine.
