The bathrooms have always been clean. The staff is very attentive. I found out today they have vegan sausage too! I totally recommend eating here, though sizes can be pretty big and filling! I haven't been to Zito's in a long time... Their pizza is generally good but I can tell you after today's experience I will not be back. Number one, the restaurant was filthy. I cannot believe that they have not been closed by the health department. When we walked in, there wasn't a single clean table in the large room. I am not exaggerating. The tables for the most part empty, but the room had not been cleaned in hours. The floors were covered with trash, food, etc. We ordered two pizza, salad, and a drinks. If I had seen the state of the dining room prior to ordering, I would've left . One pizza was delivered after about 15 minutes. We were told the salad would come however it never showed up. After about another 15 minutes, I went to the counter and was told they would put the salad together, even though we had already finished our pizza. One would think that the salad would be delivered first, not after your pizza is finished . I asked about the second pizza only to find out that the order had not been placed. Since it had been so expensive, it never occurred to me that she didn't include the second pizza. Regardless, we went ahead and ordered the second pizza we were told the salad would come. After two more trips to the counter, he finally brought a salad with no dressing then after two more trips to the counter, checking on the pizza they had forgotten it underneath some boxes finally brought it out, and it was the wrong pizza. At this point, we just packed it to go. For the record, they must have been understaffed and I appreciate that the guy behind the counter was trying to make it right it's just that they couldn't seem to do anything right. However... The lack of cleanliness in the restaurant is not something I can handle. ... Zito's...You have been an orange a long time. I hope you can get it together. This was a big disappointment. read more

Overall, a terrible experience. Met friends for dinner here tonight. Placed our order, then went into the large front dining room. There was only one table with seated customers.Eevery other table was dirty with cups, plates, crumbs, etc. The floor was sticky. There was only one table for the seven of us to use. Apparently the air conditioner is broken or maybe they can't afford it anymore because they don't have any more customers. We ordered two pizzas and one salad, and some drinks from the bar. The first pizza arrived. Once we finished the pizza, my sister went to check on the other pizza and the salad. A while after that, the salad arrived. She finally went back up and asked for a refund of the second pizza since we were ready to go, and it still hadn't arrived. They finally brought it out and even though it was pepperoni and sausage instead of pepperoni and mushroom, which had been ordered, it still tasted pretty good. The only redeeming thing about the experience was that since there was pretty much no one there, we were able to enjoy our conversation without worrying about bothering the other patrons. A hard no on this place. It's sad, but we will definitely not return. read more

Isaiah is a great server, and he is very hospitable every visit. There's a small arcade area with games for the kids. If you want less noise, there's a second dining room away from the arcade. My favorite was the pizza and knots especially the sugar knots. Everything was delicious and more than enough food to feed 6 adults and 6 boys; we even had some leftover because we were so full from the carb loading, well worth it though. The kids got to play in the arcade which had pinball machines ( Jaws & Venom), air hockey, basketball, Jurassic Park, and a racing game to name a few. This was an excellent place to have a meal and a play date all rolled into one. The staff were nice and accommodating, the venue was large enough for big parties, and parking was free with spots available. Hands down one of the best pizza spots in Orange County We visited Zito's Pizza on Tustin St and honestly it blew our expectations away. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It has that rare family-owned vibe where you can tell the people running the place genuinely care about the food and the customers. All four locations are run by the same family and it really shows in the quality and consistency. First off -- the ingredients are seriously next level. Their pepperoni isn't the typical factory stuff; it's sourced directly and you can taste the difference immediately. They even have jalapeño-infused pepperoni, which is incredible if you like a little kick. The garlic knot bread might be the best I've ever had. Perfectly baked pizza dough knots brushed with garlic butter and dusted with parmesan -- absolutely addictive. The wings are fresh, never frozen, and you can tell. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and tossed in great sauces. And the ranch... wow. They make it fresh in-house and it's easily one of the best ranch dressings I've had anywhere. We were dipping everything in it. The pizza menu is huge with tons of specialty options. We tried a couple and everything tasted fresh and high quality. Here's the crazy part -- three days later we reheated leftover pizza and the cheese still melted like it just came out of the oven. That tells you how fresh the ingredients are. They also have a great happy hour on draft beer and the wine deal is insane -- bottles for just $18 at a dine-in pizza restaurant is almost unheard of. If you have kids, this place is a dream. There are retro arcade games, pinball machines, and claw machines and my kids went absolutely wild. They had so much fun they literally passed out in the car on the way home. The restaurant is huge with tons of seating, which makes it perfect for groups. In fact, after visiting we're now planning to host a birthday party here for 50-60 people because there's so much space. They also have desserts, a big menu with something for everyone (salads, sandwiches, calzones, wings, appetizers, etc.), and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We went to the Tustin St location, but now we're already planning to check out the Orange Circle location soon. We had an amazing time and absolutely delicious food at Zito's Pizza! I am very picky when to come to Alfredo sauce and have never liked it at restaurants, but Zito"s did a great job! I felt like I was eating homemade sauce with lots of garlic, the only way to go! I enjoyed the Bianca pizza as is and then I spruce up an individual serving with sausage, olives and basil. So so sooo good! My son who picks off mushrooms from pizza ate most of my pizza as is and said he's never liked mushrooms on a pizza until he tried Zito"s. That's a big wow! Besides the fantastic food, the service is amazing. Very attentive and friendly staff. The space is so big it's perfect for parties. Yelp should hold an event here! We get food to go from here often. The pizza, garlics knots and salad are always perfect! We also get the uncooked dough from time to time when we want to do homemade pizzas. Sunday was a horrible day for my family, our aunt passed suddenly. We got food to go from here and the sweetest guy helped me out. He was being soo nice to me that I cried right in Zitos haha! Let's start with the crust..cooked perfectly. Not flat, not overly doughy. We tried this amazing spicy honey one. (Never heard of honey on pizza) but WOW it was good. The Margherita pizza did not disappoint. Finally the Zitos special...FULL of toppings...I mean every space had toppings...they do not scrimp like most places...and the flavor....oh the flavor!!!! I have come here with my family for over 30 something years, we even moved out of the area into South Orange County and still come back every month for this delicious pizza! The drive to this place is absolutely worth it!Between the amazing staff ( Isaiah, Brandon and Emmett- these guys know exactly what they're doing and how to take care of their patrons) to the delicious and mouthwatering menu! I arrived a little before noon and ordered a salad. I ordered it with no cheese. I grabbed a seat and watch people come in after me. People were getting their orders before me even though they had come in after me. I saw whole pizzas going out to tables that had arrived after me. It was 32 minutes before my salad came out and the cheese was right on top. I had to ask for a refund because I didn't have time to wait a possible half hour more. I typically go with the family meal deal that consists of pizza, garlic knots, and salad or soda. They have friendly service. The ambiance is New York and family friendly.
