Came here for a night cap. The "bikini bartender" was wearing a flannel buttoned up East LA style and stained sweatpants. She closed the bar at 12:02am, right after we arrived, ordered drinks and loaded up the TouchTunes. We go to leave and the gacked out barback won't stop yammering incoherently to us about our bikes. ABSOLUTE DUMP! I came here to be more social and all I see are a bunch of old hags and middle aged men. It's a dive bar so what to expect. If this place is located near a Stater Bros and a Dollar Tree, it's a sign you are in that ghetto part of the neighborhood. Some of the bartenders were nice though and others are rude in the most passive aggressive way. At least the beer is cheap with a wide selection! This place is depressing once I walk in. They have chicks in skimpy outfits flirting with guys that are twice their age. The bar is low-key, it is hidden in plain sight in that area. If you guys want to go to a real bar, go to the ones at the Orange Circle or Rockwells at Villa Park. Those establishments are more lively and you meet better people. This place deserves 0 stars, the last time I went to this sad little bar was 15 yrs ago. It feels like it's still being ran by entitled children which are constantly letting you know this is "their" bar. I asked for some water in between drinks and a bar patron decided to tell me what to do with my money. When I calmly let him know I wasn't asking him but the person who works there his big sister which was also a bartender came at me like I was attacking her poor little brother. I had been there a couple of times, this bar was not a very good place but I did have some good and bad memories there. It's very depending on different bartenders and clients. I can say most of bartenders were nice and good, but I met a bartender and some customers who were really rude and unpromising that made me decide not to come ever again. That night some clients threatened me to pay more tips to the bartenders and one guy even forced me physically, even though I already tips her and I just tried to avoid the conflict and reasoned with them, the awful bartender suddenly kicked me out when she was at fault and with guilty conscience. There's a large part of me that enjoys this City of Orange dive bar for the eye candy, visual impact and the darts, gotta love the darts - Westside Spiders The other part of me simple enjoys witnessing the true dysfunctionality of middle aged men when they stumble in and out of this hole in the wall, salivating over the bartenders. I just wish they'd wipe their salivating mess off the bar tops when they finish, so kidding. But this spot included billiards, darts, good IPA on draught, and pretty and courteous bartenders, pretty much the equation for a great time, anytime you pop in. That being said, if you like cheap beer, darts, pool, a great jukebox, and scantily clad females then this is your place. Do NOT come here if you are looking to: dance (unless you are so wasted that Gimmie Shelter by the Rolling stones moves you to do a Jagger impression), meet girls (no matter what you think the bartender is not going to date you but she will be very very nice), drink liquor (its a beer and wine bar and adding liquor would also add to inebriation of the so called "day regulars" which would most likely be a disaster). A great place to meet a group of friends. Not too loud and not too quiet. Best darts in Southern California with the plaques and trophies to prove it. Nice staff in the bartenders and doormen (Pretty Tony oversees all shenanigans). You can use your credit or debit card to get cash out, but it will cost you $1.50. If you are seriously that worried about a buck fifty, then bring cash. If you don't like cash think of it this way, a 16 oz. The Bar: Hard to find. Drove by it twice. One glass door with a tiny name on it. "Somewere in Orange". Yeah, it's spelled wrong. Upon entering the bar, you'll notice a sign that says (2) forms of I.D....not the case. Pretty sure that is just there to deter the fake ID's. The bar seats about 15 people with some scattered tables around the bar. Beer & Wine only due to the proximity to a high school. Also, a bikini bar, which we were unaware of before arriving but the owner was cool and allowed us to review. The Crowd: All men. We brought the only women excluding the bartender. Mostly middle aged men watching sports. Service: Since there was only about 6 people in there when we arrived, services was prompt. Prices: $4 tall cans of PBR, $5 mini pitchers. Entertainment: Internet Jukebox, touch screen game, 2 pool tables, 3 electronic dart boards, 5 or so TV's. Restroom: Tiled... really couldn't tell if it was clean. You can decide from the picture below. Bartender: One word... stunning! Closing statement: Overall, great time. We were only there about and hour and a half, but we left with quite the buzz. First time going here tonight 2-22-20 arrived around 8:20 pm sat at the bar with my girlfriend and sat and sat waiting for what seemed like forever as we watched the bartender sit and hold obviously in depth conversations with other customers at the bar. As far as dives go there are plenty of places that do it better. I went in for one beer on a weeknight and was ignored for about 5-10 minutes. No hi. No just a minute. She ignored me and talked to the regulars then gave me attitude when she asked how long I'd been sitting there. Try Marty's or jimmy bones down the street. Quiet local bar with a couple coin operated pool tables and darts. Very local bar vibe which is nice not as stuff. But deco is straight outta the 60's or 70's with wood paneling and all. Beer selection is pretty standard for a small bar. But where it knocks a full star off for me is that they no longer accept credit cards. It's atm purchase only and have to withdraw in $20 increments. Even farmers markets that are traditionally cash only have adapters for their smart phone to accept credit cards lately. Quiet bar.
