First visit to Teri Cafe today. The people there are so friendly, service was great and it was quick. The restaurant was very clean and open. I got a Teriyaki Chicken bowl and Tempura Shimp. The tempura shrimp was excellent, the batter was light, crunchy and tasty and the sauce was delicious as well. I hadn't had a teriyaki chicken bowl from anywhere for a long time and was excited to try theirs. There was a really good portion of rice and chicken. The teriyaki sauce was very tasty, wished there was a little more, they probably would have provided it but I didn't ask, my fault. I did expect more veggies....there were 3 slices of carrots and one piece of broccoli. With that said, the bowl was very good and I ended up taking some home as I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. Looking forward to finishing it up later tonight! Will definitely go back but will ask for extra veggies and a bit more teriyaki sauce next time. Their menu was pretty extensive and another favorite is yakisoba and I will definitely try that some time soon. I think you'll enjoy your visit, maybe we'll see you there! read more

This gem has repeatedly kept its good status in our family with their solid delivery of our favorites each and every time we come in. Wanting to explore the menu further, I ordered two new-to-me dishes this visit. Saba Shioyaki: The broiled mackerel did not disappoint; very flavorful, crispy in all the right places, yet not dry. Salads and rice, perfect as always. Shoyu cut the oiliness of the fish well. I would order again. Fiesta Roll: I love cilantro and lime, but not on this roll. Been here a handful of times. I really wanted to like this place as I used to love the one in Clairmont before closing down. Order at the counter then have a seat. This place can get busy so if there are no seats, sit at the bar. I've had a couple of different ramen's; Tonkatsu and Soy Sauce. Meh, it's alright. The shrimp tempura was good and the highlight of all my meals. Overall, not a place I'd choose to eat at but will follow family and friends who wants to dine here. read more

This used to be my favorite place. I recently had two bad experiences with this location dealing bad food handling clearly. Because I have gotten diarrhea twice for this location. When I called today after instantly getting sick they didn't want to offer me a refund. It's sad that they rather refunding me. They said I may having a chronic issue and unless I have have a doctors note stating it's food poisoning they're not refunding me. They must have a dirty environment if this location keeps getting me sick. Go to the Teri cafe by plaza I have not gotten sick from them. Maybe I'll just giving them my business overall all. Teri Cafe is a wonderful restaurant, the atmosphere is very welcoming. The cashier "Leia" greeted me with a smile and was really friendly and she recommended their Mochi Ice Cream to me for dessert. Their Mochi flavors includes Chocolate, Strawberry, Mango, and Green Tea. I chose one serving of the Chocolate and one serving of the Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream. The Mochi Ice cream totaled up to $5.00. My order was placed with "Leia" this cashier at the front counter. I ordered 2 quantity of the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with white rice that included broccoli and carrots. The price was $7.00 each. Then my second order was the Beef Yakisoba which is tender beef sliced really thin, it was very delicious that included the stir fried egg noodles with carrots, onions, and cabbage. The cost was $8.00. My order totaled up to $27.00. This was a take-out order. Teri Cafe gave me excellent customer service. I spoke to Leilani who works at the bar, she called my number 72 and then gave me my take-out order. Leilani was very easy to speak to and was very personable. The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was delicious. The chicken was really tender and it had the perfect amount of teriyaki sauce that wasn't too sweet. The teriyaki sauce was in a separate container when I received my order. This is a good idea so the rice would not get soggy when I take my order home. The carrots and broccoli vegetables was crispy. Teri Cafe was really busy this afternoon when I arrived at 12:30 p.m. This is the second time I have ordered take-out food on their menu and I will be coming back again because Teri-Cafe has really delicious food, fast service with a smile and it has the casual vibe. I ve ordergrilled chicken plate on a few occassions and both times I explained to manager and employee food is being brought out cold. I asked if the plate I ordered is suppose to be cold the employee says I have to request for my food to be heated. Manager states I have to request for the food to be hotter. In my search for some Chicken Katsu Don that doesn't disappoint, my search continues. I was raised on the stuff as a teenager and young adult in the PHX. I come here often and have ordered the sushi, ramen, soba, fried rice and yakisoba. I've tried a majority of their popular foods here and they never ever disappoint! But I will say I consistently always order the pork Katsu and my boyfriend orders the chicken Katsu. He's always loved the white meat and so he just favors that Katsu over the traditional pork. I will also say that their salad with the sesame salad dressing and their Mac potato salad!!!! UGHHH so so so amaaazinggggg! There will even be some days where I'll order an extra side entree of the Mac potato salad bc I love it so much!! I've never eaten inside the restaurant itself but it seems to get busy on the weekends. I had recently came to grab lunch for Father's Day and it wasn't busy at all. The customer service here is amazing and everyone here is super nice and attentive the many times I've came here. I've eaten there three times now and I'll be back again. I'm not a sushi fan, but they enough other menu items that I can continue to return long before I run out of options. All the dishes that I have had have been delicious. They don't take reservations so you will need to show up before the line goes out the door.
