We went to the original one like 7 years ago in San Clemente. We're out of the beer game now but saw that they opened up one in Oside. Killing some time before dinner at Tanner's, we came to check it out. The place is a decent size tap room, with a nice little outdoor seating in the back. Plenty seating inside with tables, booth and the bar. They even have a window to the pizza place next door for food. We have yet to try it. I got their Sundream Hazy IPA. I haven't had a hazy in forever and when I tried theirs, it all came back to me as to why I used to love drinking a good hazy. It was crisp and refreshing. Delicious! We had a slightly uncomfortable experience. When we tried to use our vouchers for a beer, the staff made us feel awkward. We didn't even finish our drinks because it just felt odd. Although, both the beer and seltzer were very tasty! On top of that, several customers were staring at us when we walked in and it felt a bit unsettling. The restroom was also left unflushed and unclean. Overall, not a great experience at this location, which is such a bummer because I have had wonderful experiences at other locations. After a difficult week, I was really hoping to relax and have a nice evening. That said, I do really love the San Clemente location and have had much better experiences there. Will definitely be returning to the San Clemente location! read more

Great spot located right in the heart of the up and coming South O... If you've been to the OC location, you'll know that the beer here is delicious. But... what really steals the show is the Seltzers, sooo good and highly recommended! I do treasure this south O tasting room ever so splendidly for a perfect amount of reasons. It's not just that this Brewery, out of San Clemente, brews some damn straight righteous beers (Artifexican and Trigger Finger can't be beat!!), and that the space is just perfectly nestled in south O on Vista Wy in the Tremont collective with Little Fox and Tanners etc... BUT more than anything it's the damn bartenders who keep it alive and lively. Just saying... you give it a go... say hi to the homies for me! read more

Checked this place out after work on a Sunday evening. Atmosphere: 9 - Clean and new. Service: 10 - I had a seat at the bar and sipping beer in less than 2 minutes Beer: 10 - Orange You Different, hazy IPA. Very good, I will return to try more beers. Other: 10 - cool pizza place next door that delivers. I wasn't hungry but having some food offering is always a bonus. read more

I was in town a few weeks ago and my friends took me to Artifex for a drink. I loved seeing that it was dog-friendly and that there were a good amount of people during the week. I got the Busty Lush, which was delicious and low ABV. The staff recommended it when I mentioned I wasn't much of a drinker. Both guys behind the bar were extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I didn't partake in the food but thought it was awesome that you could order from Corner Pizza next door. The reason I'm giving a two star review was because of one of the staff. I'm not sure if this is an owner, but it was an older man wearing a polo. He walked in, immediately stepped behind the bar, and asked the staff about money with a gruff tone in front of customers, which was unprofessional. The staff working there went from bubbly and conversational to quiet and downtrodden when he was there. It was a weird situation to watch unfold and took away from the otherwise laidback vibes myself and the other patrons were enjoying. Hopefully, in the future, that type of discussion can take place away from customers and in a manner that is respectful towards the staff. read more

Visited this brewery down the street from my sisters house,I'm from the Inland Empire. Had the red,Mexican lager,an IPA and the stout. Every beer was right on and refreshing. I especially liked Infinite Layers their pastry stout,thick and tasty. What an awesome brew to end the night. I just had to take a four pack home. I'll be sure to visit Artifex again the next time I'm in Oceanside cuz I'll have to take another four pack of Infinite Layers home. Great job guys , see ya next time. read more

Overall, it was a good experience with great accommodations for our toddlers and great service.

In fact, he prefers Michi beers to Double Peak. They have a back room which is great for hanging out, with plenty of space to bring snacks and games for kids. Located on the site the old Carlsbad Raceway, Dogleg Brewing is a golf themed brewery teeing up some good beers and vibes. We stopped in early on a Friday afternoon, ahead of their "Golftober Fest" event the following day, to celebrate their version of Oktoberfest. Like many breweries I've recently visited, this brewery is located in an industrial park, with a very large wide open layout, next store... another brewery! What makes Dogleg unique was their Foresight Golf Simulator, as well as a putting green underneath the large Dogleg Brewing Shield, a dog holding a club in their mouth. Loved the concept and branding, thought it was quite unique but since when does beer and golf NOT go together. We were fortunate to talk to the guy in charge of the front of the house (aka the bar), didn't get his name, but very knowledgable and enjoyable to talk to, as we shared beer related thoughts up and down the CA coast and even to Scotland! Yes, some good golf in Scotland too! Between my sister and I we sampled four items form their extensive menu. I started with front nine with "Ko" Low, the NZ pale ale and made the turn with Blind Shot to finish the day. Both beers were well made, crisp and clean over the palate with good hops flavors. The price for a pint was unbelievable and my sister even commented on the $7.50. That's unheard of at many other breweries I go to. So props to Dogleg for keeping beer affordable. All in all a great place (minus the extreme heat that day) to come in, enjoy a few beer and relax. TVs all over the place, was enjoyable watch a few guys on the simulator. Dogleg, doing it right. Fittingly, it's housed in what used to be an airplane hangar, giving it a unique character that you won't find anywhere else. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautifully designed, and they've done an incredible job transforming the patio with cozy seating, including large couches that make it easy to relax and stay awhile. It's also dog-friendly, which is always a huge plus. One of my favorite things is how easy it is for groups. Everyone orders right from their phone and pays for their own meal, so there's never any awkward check-splitting at the end. They're always hosting fun events too, from line dancing and comedy nights to karaoke, so there's usually something happening. Since it's a little farther inland, parking is generally much easier than along the coast, and the prices are very reasonable. Beautiful space, great atmosphere, fun events, delicious food and wine, and easy parking--Hangar 76 is absolutely worth a visit and is one of Oceanside's hidden gems. Five stars!

After I sat down, I decided that after the first break at learning a couple more new line dancing moves I was done for the night. I chose to sit and enjoy some chat time with friends and watching everyone dance. I really enjoyed the vibe going on here. The place was very packed with line dancing peeps! Tables filled up quick but there were side tables along the wall that were available. This place is pet friendly. There were a coupe of pups on leash with their owners. Parking is available. Some are 2 hour limit and some unlimited time. I would lie to come back and enjoy some beer next time. You can count on me returning here.
