She toured the venue with us, answering all of our questions the day of and afterwards. She was quick to respond and very friendly throughout the entire time. Shoutout to Tiffany as well, who was able to help us out on the day of the event, and helped to bar tend. The venue itself is also such a fun space, with fun accents, such as the live plant wall and the fun tap handles. We created a Spotify playlist that we were able to play using the venue speakers, and we even used the projector screen that they had to play our Nintendo Switch games during the welcome party. Street parking was plentiful and our guests ended up loving the venue as well. We would highly recommend the Woodshed for anyone looking for a fun space to host a gathering or party!

It's kind of an older building that they've revamped a little but it's nice for a neighborhood club. Dinner was started with dinner rolls that were warm and tasty and served with soft butter. Next, we were served a salad, which was good, but mine didn't have enough dressing whilst the person next to me had a lot of dressing. Next, I the filet had ordered the fillet mignon. It came with mashed potatoes and veggies. The fillet was cooked well (perfectly medium rare) with an accompanying sauce that complimented it. The veggies were quite crunchy, but I like my veggies that way, and the mashed potatoes tasted very buttery, which I also like. My one drawback was the strawberry cheesecake. It had a freezer burn taste to it. Otherwise, everything was delicious and the space is quite nice. The service quick and efficient. I would definitely return again if I knew someone who was a member.

He was in a very bad place when he entered Green Oak. It is Christian based and has worked wonders for my son. No more beating himself up for things he has done in the past. Yes there is a lock down period of two months - Yes you cannot have a phone while at the ranch. If you leave the premises you can take your phone for the day. You can work outside the facility after two months. There are random drug tests and when returning from a day out a breathalyzer test. As far as the food - no it is not great but edible. I don't know what people expect when you are paying $750 per month. You get a roof over your head - continual help and sober living. Classes for you to get sober & stay sober. Yes you do have some chores. When my son first arrived he would feed the goats, Tortes, peacock, horses and two pigs and one llama. Not hard work. Animals got fed twice a day and the goats 3x a day. There is also gate duty. He has been working the gate, teaching men how to study for their GED and has found purpose in his life again. It is learning that life is tough and there are restrictions in many things we do - but the rewards are priceless. My son may stay longer than the 9 months - and hopes to find out what he would like to do when his time is up to leave Green Oak. One Day At a Time. Thank you for Giving me My Son back.

Once you check in they give you a welcome drink! The property offers so many activities: *Pickleball *Gym *S'mores by the fire pits from 6-10 PM *Kayaking or paddleboarding: 1 hour a day to explore about 1.5 miles along the lake, passing beautiful homes and ducks floating by *Guitar check-out *Golf balls for use on their gorgeous course They have a private, adults-only pool for swimming, plus two large pools in the main area and a Jacuzzi. There's a bar available at the pools, which is convenient. Restaurants: *Almalfi Cuisine: Upscale Italian with an amazing wine selection, beautiful views, excellent service, and phenomenal dishes. *Almalfi Marina: Located below the upscale restaurant. You can sit at the bar to watch sports or at tables overlooking the lake. Happy hour is 3-6 PM, and I got a craft IPA for just $6, such a great deal! *Brickman's: Honestly, not my favorite. Breakfast can be disappointing. My friend's eggs Benedict was just a handful of spinach on sloppy-looking ham with an overcooked egg. The breakfast burrito is good, though, and the view overlooking the golf course is beautiful. Overall, this place is incredibly relaxing. You can choose a room with a pool or lake view, and it offers great value. Kid-friendly, complementary parking, and truly a hidden escape. Highly recommend for a low-stress, enjoyable stay.
