Sipping on a sweet & scrumptious mead has been around for centuries but not everyone knows what all the Buzz is about. Mead is an alcoholic beverage made from honey. I'm a cider and Mead kinda gal in general so this is right up my alley. Meadiorcrity specifically specializes in Mead. Nothing Mediocre about it tho!!! So many flavors to choose from. On our visit we each got a flight that includes 4 tastings. That way we could try most of what's offered on tap! I liked each taster and each one was my favorite ~~ for its own unique reason. Some had notes of mint, cardamom, and or lime. All had such complementary notes that fused beautifully together! We enjoyed sitting on a cozy couch and chilled and chatting like we were in a cozy living room space. Family friendly and they have games available to play while you are there. Outside food is welcome as well. If you have a need for Mead this is a great choice to buzzzz on by!

The ambiance is very chill and comfortable and the service is great. I usually start with a flight of 4 so I can sample a few meads without having to commit to a full pour. My favorites are The Lady blended with Earl Gery tea and Strawberry Fields strawberry mead. Everything I have had on tap is very tasty, I have never been disappointed here. No brawls but only good vibes and laughter found here! The movie really helped too. We all had a blast. We got a flight of cider and a flight of the mead. Both styles of brews were great. I learned that the honey is sourced from vista and Escondido. Their product tends to be on the drier side and the mead more semisweet than too sweet. They do have fish fry-day on Fridays and we will come back for that in the very near future! I'm a sucker for fish n chips (with malt vinegar) and food when I'm enjoying a good brew. The brisket had a very good flavor but was very dry. It came with barbecue sauce, but I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce so I ate it like it was. The slaw was excellent. My friend got an order of fries which were delicious, I ate a bunch of them. She also got these jalapeño peppers that were wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese and I think pulled pork. She seemed to like them a lot, but she said that she's gotten them before a few times and every time they've been different The bartender that served us was really nice, she was happy to make recommendations. If you like limoncello and you like spice, then you'll like. For me, I am not a huge fan of limoncello, so it wasn't a good starting spot for me. We did buy some bottle and can to go. Bottles last like wine and are bottled to age, so no problem not opening immediately (per the bartender), meanwhile the can should be drank quicker.
