I've been to slot of breweries in my 20 years of drinking lol This place had automatic good vibes as soon as u walk in The service was great the bartender even let me sample 4 different ipa beers so I could find the right one Haven't tried the food but I'll let u know Try there double hazy ipa I only needed one I was feeling pretty nice

We were visiting family and we were driving by and saw a brewery sign so had to stop. It can be a bit difficult to find parking but found one a few streets away. When you walk in the place was busy and people were enjoying a beer. It is not a large place but there are tables inside and outside. We were greeted right away and asked for some recommendations. We decided on a flight so we could try a few different styles. We found a spot where we could see outside and enjoy all the sights. The beers were good they have many available to go. We sat next to a couple with an older dog who were very friendly.

Perfect place to get some food around the area and have a drink before picking up a case to take home. They have a great and varied selection of beers for everyone. I'm a big IPA fan so I tend to lean towards their Diamond Dust as my favorite from their core line. Their specialty releases and collabs are always a hit. Their beers are all uniquely flavored, you can really taste the different elements to their offerings If it's your first time, their flight deals are a great way to try all of their selections. Feel free to ask the staff on recommendations as well. This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and very clean. It's the perfect place to grab a drink and take some to-go as well. Excellent vibes all around Definitely one of my favorite breweries!

I also had perezoso. It is a hard smoothie with mango and blueberry. I love Pure Project smoothie beer. They are so refreshing on a hot day. Check it out if you're in Carlsbad. They also have locations throughout San Diego.

They are crowded on a rainy day and they expedite the line fast! So be ready and know what you want. I actually got out of line and went to the end so I had more time to think lol This place is crowded but cozy. Lots of people and if your introverted you may feel overwhelmed. I really enjoyed my flight and even took a few to go. I would come again but next time, I think I'll come in the daylight.When it's sunny, so there's a little more room to stretch out.

I'll come down from LA just for Pure Project and I can't go down to San Diego without making a stop at one of their locations. That's how much I enjoy their beers. This Pure Project, a brewery, is located by the Carlsbad Village Station. There is parking in the nearby parking lots and street. It's a popular location that is family and dog friendly. The flight is 5 for the price of 4 beers, which is around $20. The staff is friendly, quick, and professional. The ambiance is amazing - plenty of searing, light music, wooden feature, pothos plants hovering over the tap area. Overall, this is a great brewery to stop by while in Carlsbad. read more

What a great hidden gem! We found out about this spot after attending the REI grand opening party last month, and we had no idea this place was here! We visited on Sunday around 12:30pm, and there were quite a few people there but more than enough extra tables and chairs for others coming in. Parking in this area can be challenging if you don't come earlier in the morning, but parking spots line all the nearby side streets, so you'll find one...it will just take a little bit of time. The two guys behind the bar area quickly greeted us and welcomed us in! I LOVED the vibe and they have a natural outdoor ambience that they've brought indoors with the climbing vines from plants that line the back wall. It's truly a lovely spot. I got a beer flight of the following: Tropical Mist Lemon Surf Ship Full Sail Mysto Wave Hydra Squared They were ALL delicious... but my FAV and the one I ended up taking a 4 pack of home of... is Hydra Squared! It was SO good... and I didn't care how much they charged me for it when I left lol I will for sure be checking out their Vista location, as they said that it's bigger and has even more plants everywhere! Check them out, grab a beer and some merchandise! (We grabbed a hat lol) read more

This place is always amazing and the staff is second to none with an amazing indoor and outdoor environment. Our favorite is their slushies that are served seasonally. The beertenders are always extremely well versed and make the best suggestions when you are unsure of a new flavor or style to try. We travel to Oceanside fairly often coming from close to Las Vegas and always make this a stop every time. 3-25-26 I had the pleasure of speaking with Lauren on the phone, calling before coming, to inquire whether or not they were serving slushies or not. She very politely informed Slushies would not start again until May however they did have similar options and was nice to hear the current availability. About 10 minutes later I received a phone call back, obviously from their caller ID, I could not answer but I was left with a Voicemail. (attached) This is the level of service and going above and beyond that justifies a perfect 5 star review. I wish 6,7 or 10 Stars was an option! Thank you Pure Project! Pure Project is one of our favorite breweries, so when we were passing through Carlsbad, we had to stop in! It was actually also their anniversary weekend coincidentally! - PARKING - A few street spots but there is a larger lot close to the transit center. It can get busy but the lot goes far down. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - With every Pure Project we've been to, the service/staff is always amazing! They are so welcoming and patient, and are just happy to help people. There are several outdoor tables and a variety of tables inside, but everything is open-air. Dogs are welcome! - DRINKS - Always love seeing unique taps on the menu! Make sure to see if they have slushies during the summer months, as they are always so refreshing! We always end up getting at least 3-5 beers to try because they have so many options. - OVERALL - Another great location for beer enthusiasts to enjoy! Established in 2020.

Originally founded in Costa Rica, Pure Project moved to San Diego and opened its doors in the heart of Miramar in early 2016. The Pure Project tasting room at Carlsbad opened in July 2020.

This place has a full blown menu with absolutely excellent food and an enormous beer and wine list (including tons of beers from other breweries). The food here is not "hey, you're at a brewery, the beer comes first" food. This food is absolutely legit. Bring your family. Bring your kids. I cannot say I am a patty melt expert but my patty melt (with bacon added) was, by far, the best patty melt I have ever had in my life. I could almost dream about it. It was an absolute enormous thing, and the patty was juicy and humongous and I loved every cheesy, bacony, meaty bite of it. Bring your snake jaws for this one. The sliders with bacon and cheese were also excellent. The buns were a step above normal buns but they definitely added to the meal. For the beer, I went with a flight of very heavy stouts and barrel-aged brews. I liked them all but the one from the bourbon barrel was magnificent and I also made sure my designated driver took the wheel on the way home. Some of these beers are quite powerful. I am not a dessert guy, or a root beer guy, but the root beer float was insane. It is a thing of beauty. Our service was wonderful and the interior decor of the restaurant was fun and interesting. Fantastic food. Very good beer. Plenty of free parking in the lot. I cannot believe I have never been here before. I hope to visit again soon.

I also tried four heavier, more alcoholic ones: Black's Peach (sour ale--it was sour indeed), Drink This or the Bees Die (Golden Honey--not bad), Sasquack (Belgian--very good), and St. Alfonsos (Imperial Stout at 12.8 ABV--this one was absolutely outstanding but better have a designated driver with you). This place is kid friendly and definitely dog friendly. In fact, there were probably more dogs than humans during our visit and I'm not complaining. Dogs are better than people, as we know. This was on a Friday night and the place was absolutely slammed, which was nice to see. No food available but you can bring in your own grub. Good luck with parking--either free street or residential parking are your only options. Excellent addition to Leucadia. This is a good spot.

You can still order at the bar but it is a little removed from people in that process. Ambiance: This is a great brewery with a good amount seating and had an awesome outdoor area with live music. My girlfriend and I recently discovered this amazing place, and we're already hooked! The moment we walked in, we felt the friendly vibes and loved the place's layout, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas perfect for a relaxing afternoon. But what really stole the show was their incredible beer selection - they had some of the best West Coast and hazy beers I've tried recently, and the Ode to OG was hands down one of my favorites! After trying a couple of flights, we grabbed a crowler and some cans. All the beers were fantastic, but we also enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly bartenders. The staff was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on food in the area, which was helpful since we were traveling. We were actually starting our trip in Oceanside, and the "spirit animal" bartender gave us an excellent recommendation for a local spot that was a highlight of our trip. Kudos to her for being so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! All in all, we loved our experience at this place and can't wait to come back when we're in the area again.
