Decided to give this place a try due to location being on the way to the freeway and the reviews that said family friendly. There were many families there, the vibe was very relaxed. I noticed how clean it was inside. We didn't order pizza but I thought the pizza outside was cool! If we had more time, I would've tried it. The lady at the beer counter was very nice. I gave them a 4 star instead of 5 because they didn't have a West Coast IPA on tap. My husband had what they called an American IPA, I wasn't a fan but for a small brewery, it was a good experience.

Cute brewery. Combined with a winery so the hubs grabbed a beer and I could get wine. Tried his DIPA, doghouse... I usually enjoy doubles but this one was very hop heavy, so not my jam. Great vibe, small inside seating area, bar and a couple of tables. Nice outdoor patio to enjoy the sun and live music.

Nice location and is dog and family friendly. Plenty of space outside in the patio. Pizza is available outside. There's also a winery inside and it's separate from the brewery. Very nice place to relax and unwind.

Maybe a full glass would've been better but you get the point with this pic

I returned for the SoCal Super Bloom Hazy! Worth repeating when I get the opportunity.

A cool little brewery off the 76. The brewery is located in Hangar 76 which is multi-use space that includes Tipping Pint Brewing, a winery, an outdoor space, and food truck options. We came in on a lazy Saturday afternoon and ordered the Damnit Donny beer. It was good! We sat outside and enjoyed the warm afternoon. They had a taco guy making food which looked good and a band was setting up their gear for some live music later in the evening. It was a chill and relaxing vibe. We didn't try the winery because we're not wine people, but it's good that there are options if you're with a group that does not enjoy beer. We'll be coming back especially since we live so close!

I came on their grand opening weekend and the place was jammed packed!!!!!!! It's cool that you can get some wine there too. I just came for the beer and it was actually pretty good. The service was good especially seeing how busy it was. They didn't have a lot on tap but what they did have was pretty tasty. I'll definitely be back and they usually have some food too.

Great new local spot housing a brewery and winery tasting area. They really did a great job with the space here where there is alot more space on their patio and inside tasting area than it appears when you pull up. For Tipping Pint though, great base selection of beers that I see is quickly growing as they get maximum use of their brewing system. The IPAs where of course on point with a very tasty hazy, but I enjoyed their Mexican style lager alot and would go back just for that. Looking forward to getting back in here and tipping back a pint or two...yeah yeah....Cheers

Stopped in last Sunday and had a an absolute blast - this place is amazing! An awesome concept at play, similar to a food court, but for beer (The Tipping Pint) and wine (Carruth Cellars). It appears as there's additional space, so who knows what the future holds for potential additions. Parking is abundant on Roymar, so no need to worry about finding a spot. The atmosphere inside is what we've all come to expect of brewery spaces - warehouse vibes, some nice wooden furniture, a couch to one side, and spacious. There is a large outside patio filled with sprawling tables, chairs, and benches. There is a large stage centered on the patio, with a nice local acoustic act on display the day we came - lucky us! Towards the back you'll find more surprises, a huge connect four set, cornhole boards, and a bid pizza oven. Rumor has it the owner of The Tipping Pint will occasionally crank up the heat and fire up the pizza oven for some nosh to accompany the great libations. The beer is fantastic - I have followed Adam's brewing journey from his home brew days, to Pizza Port, and now here, and the only change is improvement on what was always high quality beer made with only the finest ingredients. My fiance enjoyed Carruth's selections as well. We met some friends here who have been members of Carruth for many years, and are now members of The Tipping Pint - I almost forgot to mention, The Tipping Pint has a membership available similar to most wineries! Needless to say, we're members now too, and can't wait to come back!

New seating area! They should shine a light on that ball. 3

This place is always fun and I'm SO ecstatic it's so close to my house! The space is indoor/outdoor and is HUGE! It's a LOT nicer than the other tasting rooms around and very spacious. There's usually a fire going at night. There's great ambience and plenty of street parking. On weekends you can normally find a great food truck or two and live music. The beers are all great and you can get a flight to figure out what you want a full pour of. I happen to love the Si Level (Mexican lager) and Thanks Honey (blonde ale). My husband loves the Crow-conut Almond Joy (stout) and Sleeping Dogs Lie (IPA). Carruth Cellar shares the space here and the wines are great. I recommend their wine flights to figure out what you want because the wine can be a little bit on the pricier side if you're not a Carruth Cellar Wine Club member. I am a HUGE fan of their GSM red wine. Great vibe. Super local and away from traffic for a large part of Oside residents.

It's hard to beat a weekend afternoon enjoying a beer or glass of wine and listening to live music! And what better way to discover a place to do so by driving around the area, looking for a brewery that isn't closed on a Sunday, and stumbling upon it! We were in luck to experience the grand opening weekend of Tipping Point and Hangar 76, a shared brewery/winery space right off the 76 near the airport. And completely by happy accident! The expansive patio with varied seating and shade, plus some tables inside, and of course live music, plus a taco stand (!!) made for an awesome first impression. It's small operation, so 5 beers (IPAs, a Mexican lager, and a honey ale) makes for easy decision making - which I appreciate! Both the Mexican lager and honey ale were delicious. We also tried a red wine flight (plus a rose) from Hangar 76, which was delectable! I was glad to see such a big turnout for the grand opening - I'd love to come back and grab a seat outside!

This new brewery is with a visit. It's dog friendly has a large back patio sometimes with live music and sometimes food trucks. They share the space with a winery and soon will have a kitchen with more food options. The beer is pretty good. I think the main brewer cut his teeth at one of the pizza ports. The menu was limited to 5 drafts in April 2022 but they promised that a couple of stouts are on the way. I will return when food and more beer choices to update my review. The signage outside doesn't say filling pint but Hangar 76

A local go-to. My family loves this place. The beers is reliably great, ambiance is great for a young family and there is consistently good, live music. I wish they'd serve their pizza on the weekend - some of the best Neapolitan style pizza in North County San Diego.

I recall it being a delicious and a wonderful dining experience. I have been looking forward to bringing my family and friends here all week. I am giving this restaurant 3 stars, because their food is still AMAZING and their staff is super nice and I believe deep down inside that they just had a REALLY OFF night. We had reservations for a party of 9 last night. The table was set up nicely and accommodated a few extra if needed, which I thought was cool. We started with some adult beverages: an Old Fashion, some Hotel Nacionals, a Fashionably Late, and a couple of beers. Everything started great. Dennis, our server was very cool and friendly and gave great suggestions. We ordered the mac and cheese sides and they were delicious with huge pieces of savory bacon in them. We also ordered the brussel sprouts which we never received and didn't even realize it until the very end when we received the bill because of all the other issues we had... but we'll get to that in a moment. But let's talk about what did go well... the delicious food we did get. We ordered the Pig burger which was sooo good and came with crispy fries. The fish for the fish and chips were 2 huge pieces and were delicious, came with yummy seasoned waffle fries and the tiniest tartar sauce and malt vinegar. I had to request 4 more for that amount of fish, but no big deal. Dennis brought out as much as we needed. Their ranch sauce is really good too. Don't judge just because it's a little peachy'ish and looks thousand island'ish. lt's still some very good ranch. My son said he really tasted the bitterness of beer in the fish batter but maybe it was just in that piece he had; I could not taste it in the piece of fish I ate. The short rib was really tender and delicious... the sauce was just a tad salty for my taste, but the mashed potatoes it sat on sort of balanced it out a little. The fried chicken thighs were really cooked well, juicy, crispy and seasoned perfectly. We ordered two Teres Major steaks. One rare with mashed potaoes, one medium rare with grits. The rare one came out medium and without any mushrooms, took FOREVEEERR to remake (the rest of the table was almost done with our meals...& not sure why it took so long since the restaurant wasn't that busy and it's a RARE steak). The one with grits came with mashed potatoes instead of grits. Dennis was super nice and apologetic and corrected both mistakes when we let him know. He then brought us a big bowl of grits. The manager (blonde gal) came over and apologized for the mistakes tonight, letting us know that usually does not happen, and let us know she'd be comping one of our steaks and would be bringing a dessert on them. We thought that was very nice of them. However, as nice a gesture. we never did receive that dessert. My husband handed Dennis his credit card before the bill arrived (before our friends could try to pay the bill) and not sure why but our bill never came, and we never saw Dennis again either after he boxed up our leftovers and took the card. We had to ask another server for our bill because we had been waiting for quite a while... and needed to head out as we were already late to meet friends at a lounge. The other server came back with my husband's credit card, the bill (that's when I finally noticed the brussel sprouts sides we never got but were charged), and let the server know. He immediately apologized and took it off the bill. So I'm not sure what happened last night at Flying Pig...missing and charged brussel sprouts, steak overcooked, missing mushrooms, mashed potatoes instead of grits, then a comped dessert promised but never delivered. WOW. I had to apologize to my friends. I was totally hyping up this place and it underdelivered. They automatically got their 20% gratuity for our party of 9 but anyone that knows me knows how much I absolutely love great service combined with exceptional food and that could have easily been a 30-35% tip had they been on their A game! We only come to Oceanside once a year. Maybe we will try again next year. Maybe not. This trip was about trying out a bunch of different restaurants and giving honest reviews on dishes/businesses we haven't tried before, or in a long time. Do better guys.

On two occasions I came here and had two different kinds of experiences. Both were Dam good times…read more. The first time was after roller skating nearby and I was one HUNGRY beaver! So my friend Nanci and I turned to Yelp for help. She had been to this location before and I frequent the Vista tavern and grill (mainly when Jimmy Paton is playing) with my family. Knowing that this one wasn't a restaurant we looked up on their calendar and excitedly saw that the Oishi sushi fusion pop up would be here. I've had them elsewhere several times and am a fan of them! AND we also saw that they have live music on Friday nights too! Oh yeah! This day the music was by Kimmi Bitter duo with Willis Farnsworth. I love the 60/70's vibe that they've got going on! Definitely a fun FriYay night out with our favorite of things ie Grub, drink AND what felt like a VIP live music show! I loved the open floor plan especially because after that fun workout prior I was able to cool down with the fresh air. Cuz I was one sweaty Betty, Ha! We noticed that they have BINGO on Thursdays and so the pre-planning of my 50th birthday spinning wheels in my head began! How perfect that my actual birthday fell on the same day as a bingo night. Spinning Meats Mediterranean pop up would be there. Rain or Shine. You see it's usually very hard to plan an actual birthday event for my birthday because it's so close to the hustle bustle of the Holidays. It also likes to be a rainy day. We lucked out here! I called and spoke to Ashley (forgive if I got the name wrong but that's what this old brain remembers). about making reservations and she informed me that it really is a free-for-all/first come basis as far as the table seating goes. But she did reserve one high communal table for me, RSVP for a half an hour prior to the first BINGO game. That worked out perfectly as my event was more casual and my friends would be trickling in and out during the evening. Several of my guests that attended my event are fellow YELPers too and we are always recommending our favorite places with one another. The entire venue felt like it was my own as we befriended strangers and shared other tables, luv and laughs all around & even shared my cake with them too. I was having surgery just days after this event so I only had one seltzer drink and it was good. I love that it didn't have fake dye coloring in it. My friends loved the place, their brews, and I loved their presence! Thank you BBB~O'side crew. You were amazing! Tho a bit bummed that no one out of my group won a bingo game but one guy won twice!?! How!?! Scratches head. We had a great time and truly am looking forward to my/our next experience here!

We waited over an hour for our pizza and were told twice that it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes, we were offered a refund with no apology and explanation as to why it took so long. What made the experience even more disappointing was that the employees behind the counter appeared to be laughing about the situation, and came across as rude while we were waiting. When we brought up the issue, the employee managing the orders didn't seem interested in finding a solution or simply getting our pizza made right away. Instead, he spent time, speaking with sarcasm, telling us he had been doing this for over 20 years, which didn't address the problem or help resolve the situation. A sincere apology and a quick effort to make our order would have gone a long way. In the end, they made us a pizza, but by then the experience had already been frustrating. I really wanted to love this place because the vibe is amazing. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and the live music, but I hope they improve their food service and customer service, because it has the potential to be a great spot.
