Came on a Sunday early afternoon. The fish tacos were really good. The bread pudding was just ok as well as the smash burger. I did like that they had a non-alcoholic menu and the bartenders were very friendly.
I like to stop in here for a beer every now and then. I like the selection they have, the food here can be good at times but the last time I stopped in the food was just okay. The service could be better. The last stop in, we had their special, a bbq chicken pizza. It was very dry, the sauce seemed to be dried up bbq sauce. It didn't taste very good and it was cold. I do plan on coming back and giving them another chance, we also have club meetings here every now and then. So we will see what happens next time.
This space is super cool serving phenomenal beer. It's giant with so many different areas to sit. The bartender provided good recommendations on beer by letting me know what was freshly tapped and about recent collabs with other breweries. I only had the beer, so I can't say anything about food other than they do have food available. The beer alone is a reason to visit. I had two different IPAs. One Triple IPA brewed in collaboration with North Park and Brujos. Then I also had a Cold IPA brewed from a recipe provided by a Japanese brewery. Both were very unique options. Beer to-go is only available in four packs. You can't buy singles nor mix and match.
Got the Feeling Small and Lave Lavender. Quiet as there weren't a lot of folks on a Tuesday. Friendly staff. Street parking but pretty easy.
I don't live in the area, but we came here after my Graduation to eat. I needed a place that would fit 10-15 people and this place was perfect. They had a good amount of food to choose from for everyone to try. The drinks were good as well.
My bf is into craft beer and wanted to check out Green Cheek. We came around lunchtime and parked in the lot. The space is quite big with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered chicken wings (lemon pepper), Baja fish tacos, Cobb salad, and tots to share. Everything was solid. I guess something I missed out on was the lavender lemonade- next time. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out.
I had a great time at their sip & see event. They were promoting their venue upstairs for private events. It was cute! Everyone working there was so nice. The people who vended there were super sweet! They had a nice spread of food! The poke, vegan meatballs, macaroni salad, and beef skewers were my favorite. I had a sample of the lavy lemonade seltzer. It was pretty good and had a nice lavender color. I tasted the LIKE SUPER PROFOUND. It had a nice light taste. I ended up getting an old fashion because I could not make a decision, lol. Kimi Wakamoto did a great job making engravings for everyone. I got a luggage tag! It looked so nice! SALLYMFINEART did a great job with her handmade portraits! My portrait looked cute and she even added Gir in the portrait! The dessert table and flower arrangements looked so pretty, it looked like Easter! I did inquire about the prices for a private event and the menu looked pretty good. I am having a birthday coming up and I still haven't decided what to do so I'll keep this place in mind.

This space is HUGE and can easily accommodate a large group of people with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered beer flights to try their IPAs and had the bartender pick a few. I actually really enjoyed the lavender lemonade and ended up taking a pack home to go. I got a side of fries & salad to eat while having beers. The fries were so delicious and the salad was great too! The staff were super friendly here. Nikki was an AMAZING bartender. She was so patient in helping me find a beer I liked and very personable interacting with so many people while staying on top of orders and refills. I'll definitely be back to check out more food and beers here!
This place is great, awesome beer and food. They have a large selection of beer to choose from . For food we tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and blackened chicken sandwich that were cooked perfectly. They come with a side of fries, tots, or chips and salsa. Prices were decent. Service was good, the ambiance was chill, the inside was pretty spacious. It's definitely a great place to visit.
This is one of our Oceanside go-to spots. We like how it has indoor and outdoor seating, including an additional rooftop area. We love how pup friendly it is as well, and that they have their own parking lot. All that goes a long way to having a stress free casual dining experience. It is seat yourself, and semi-self service meaning you order your food and drinks from the bar. If you order food, they will give you a little buzzer and you come up and retrieve whatever you ordered. There are no servers or food runners. Some of our favorites are the pizza, the smashburger, the Cobb salad and the wings. You also can't go wrong with the tots, regular or cheeky. On top of having beer, because it is a brewery, they also have seltzer, wine and a full bar. Really great for a group who wants a little of everything I would say we come here a couple times a month.
5 stars for the beer For all you soccer/lacrosse tournaments at the SoCal Sports Complex, this place is suitable for large groups, and it's close to the fields. BEER: Green Cheek beer is one of my #1 favorite beers, especially for their Hoppy Pilsners, which many breweries don't brew. If you're looking for something light but still packed with flavor, then you need to try Green Cheek. They also offer wine and a small selection of mixed cocktails. VIBE: This location was fantastic when it first opened. It was lively and packed with people. All three downstairs bars were open, and it was a cool place to hang out. I recently went there to find out that the back bar is closed indefinitely; bummer. The vibe felt different, too, but not in a bad way - just more laid-back than before. We may have gone at a bad time. (2 PM)? FOOD: Food is whatever, typical bar food, nothing to brag about. Honestly, I don't go there for the food, just the beer. There are a few items for vegetarians on the menu. SEATING: There is ample seating, and the venue is ideal for large groups. PARKING: Parking is on the streets around the area. So it can be hard to find parking.
Bring your own Coaster! This was my first time visiting Green Cheek in Oceanside (I live near the Costa Mesa location). The location is great and of course, all the different areas to drink beer in here whether it be inside, the outside balcony or garden area. they're all very nice. We ordered a pizza and some beers which hit the spot. They don't give you any coasters for any of your drinks and there's no air-conditioning so when it's hot out, your beers are definitely sweating all over the counter and then when you pick them up they're dripping all over you. I asked for coasters and they don't have any so just bring your own. The staff is super friendly and our beertender's Aric and Nikki were so awesome. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

Great place, amazing seating areas to choose from. You can sit inside, outside in the middle or upstairs on the balcony. You been see the water from the balcony. They don't have any stouts, food is rather pricey, kids welcome. Good selection of beers but no stouts. Will come again to try more beers. Parking can be difficult as it is downtown Oceanside. read more

Green cheek is a great place for a casual meal. I have been a handful of times and it's always has the a nice environment. Perfect spot for a meal if you don't care for getting seated and waiting to be served. The eating space is large with plenty of seating and multiple bars, and I love the view from the rooftop especially on a clear and sunny day. I like that they have vegan food options (even though I'm not vegan) and a large list of drinks that includes hard seltzers and not just beer for those who want something else! The Baja fish burrito I had last night was delicious and I really enjoyed the salsa it came with. The lavender lemonade hard seltzers is also a perfect level of sweetness and is easy to drink. Pro tip: they have a parking lot in the back behind Vital Climbing gym! read more

We enjoy coming to green cheek because the bartenders are always friendly and happy. However, this time we came we have gotten a rude older lady that didn't even greet us! She was wearing a baseball cap and in order to avoid getting her again we came to the second bar in the back! Everyone else is amazing and the ambiance is loud and energetic! Green Cheek Beer Co. is a brewery and restaurant located next to the Tremont Collective. They have other locations, and it seems they currently do not brew the beers there even though all the tanks/equipment still can be seen through the windows. This is a huge place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There's 2 separate restrooms on opposite sides of the outdoor area. You can order from the inside or the outside bar. I highly recommend the chicken wings. It's $18. It comes with 12 large pieces, ranch and blue cheese dressing on the side, some carrots and celery. I tried the buffalo wings and was thoroughly satisfied. The extra plates, utensils, napkins and to go boxes are self serve. The service here is top notch. Folks there are friendly and hard working. I didn't even know the plates were self serve until one of the staff members brought it over to me and said I can grab more myself! It felt like a very welcoming environment, where the staff genuinely cared about the customers' experience. Overall, I'd love to come back for the chicken wings and the ambiance. read more
I'm reviewing the event room for green cheek upstairs it's been newly renovated and a great spot for birthday parties & anniversaries or anything you'd love to have a party for! They have a buffet dining area an outdoor side area with an ocean view and a pretty spacious spot inside it was a very cute set up and great to check out for future celebrations! read more
We are huge fans of the Costa Mesa location so we absolutely had to check out this one. The Oceanside location is huge in comparison. Two stores, 3 bars, and an area of private events, this is a Green Cheek lover's paradise lol. Plenty of merch for sale as well. They also offer flatbread and other food items that aren't offered at the CM location. We really enjoyed the fish tacos and ahi poke chips. Also went home with a few 4 packs and a shirt. Definitely recommend this location! read more
What an atmosphere! There are 4 different bars to choose from, all carrying the same taps, but some have different taps. The main bar has a legit selection, and the food is your typical pub grub that has a fajita effect every time someone walks by with it. The service is friendly and laid back. I love this brewery! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beers! I live in San Diego and often make the drive to Oceanside for this beer! Their Paloma seltzer is my partner's favorite and we buy cases at a time. Their pizza is delicious. You can judge a pizza based on their basic cheese and it is making my mouth water as I type this! Their ranch is absolutely delicious too! I love a place that has options or subs for vegetarians and they check that box too. If you love beer and good food, definitely make this a stop on your list. read more

This place was amazing, the service was great the gentleman serving beer had great suggestions, we had a couple of hazy IPA which were great I totally forgot to take picture of those and then we had food and a michelada, the food was also great and the michelada was very good too it had more of a tomato taste than your typical Clamato but still good, overall it was a good experience read more
One of my favorite breweries in Oceanside. They have a great variety of beers that they brew in house as well as a handful of beers from local breweries. The bartenders are friendly and provided great service. There is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor section is great at night when the lights are on. They also have great food, I highly recommend the pretzel. read more
Got to check out this place with one of my colleagues. I have been here when it was Bagbys. I like that they have a private parking lot in the back for customers. They have a descent selection of beer and a few non-alcoholic items. My daughter enjoyed martinellis apple juice. We also enjoyed some French fries. I noticed they had 2 vegan items on the menu, one being a burger. I didn't get to try it this time around as we had just eaten but maybe next time. I liked that Bagby's had a lot more vegan items including some for kids. Oh well! You order and pay at the register and sit down until your buzzer goes off to pick up your food. Not much has changed in terms of seating. And it still seems to be popular for people with large groups. I would come back to have a drink and try the vegan items. It seems like a good place to hang out with friends. read more

My chicken club with added avocado was super good. Loved the tots and cheese sauce. My friend got a really good vegetarian salad - she was happy! One of my favorite breweries to go to in North County! The brewery here is pretty big and spacious with some indoor seating and lot of outdoor seating. They do some events (like Trivia Night, etc.) so it can get sometimes slightly crowded during the night but it's never super packed, which is nice so you have a great time chilling herem They definitely got some good beer drinks here including their seltzers and other drinks. They also got some cocktails and wine selections as well so there are lots of options to choose from. They also got some real good food that are really fresh (like nice and hot straight from the oven) so it's nice to come here to have it with some drinks. They've also got a lot of cans that you can purchase to take with you home along with merch! The people here are also very friendly and patient so it makes even more worth to visit here! Definitely check out this place if you're in the area and want to have a great time with good drinks and food! read more
