Bottlecraft has several locations, but we have both agreed that the Oceanside location is our favorite. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop and tasting room - This means that you can taste a variety of beers, which taps continuously rotating - then pick up cans of your faves.. or try brand new cans to bring home. We love to grab a spot at the bar {typically to watch whatever sporting event is on TV}, or on the back outdoor patio space if we come with a group. When seated at the bar area, you can also chat with the amazing beertenders and ask for their recommendations if you're unsure what to try {I will always recommend a good Hazy or Double IPA}. The team here is always on point - Providing fantastic service as well as friendly conversation while you enjoy your brews! Not a beer drinker?! If you are looking for a place to try new beers this is the place to go. Not only do they have a great selection on tap they also have a great bottle/can selection. I was able to find beers that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Tried the sour that was on tap and bought the cascade kriek sour. There is a small corkage fee if you buy bottles and want to consume them there but it's worth it. They have a nice outdoor area that seems to be connected to the other businesses they are connected to. Will come back to try more beers. read more

A small bottleshop with a poke place attached. We went on a Monday and it was just a few people there. We had no problem getting a table and placing orders. They have a draft menu with a good number or beers. They also have a refrigerated section with an array selection for you take home or drink there. We tried a few of their IPAs and all were delicious. They did allow me to ask for samples of their beers before placing a full order. There were a few tables inside but I do believe they also have an outside patio (it was kind of chilly and rainy this day so we didn't venture outside). They do play music but not overwhelming. There was someone there with a laptop so it may be a cool place to study or work if that's the kind of vibe you can work with. There was street parking that day. It is located next to Communal Coffee (another great spot) so on busier days and times I can imagine parking might be more difficult. I decided to check this place out, cause they are right next-door to communal coffee which I frequently visit. The inside of the brewery is decent, but I definitely like the outside area which is connected to communal and the wine Company next-door, which gives it a great community vibe. I ordered the taco platter where you can choose any kind of taco you want. I asked for two fish tacos and one Kalua Pork taco. The tacos weren't bad, they weren't great ,I would say average. For the price and the options of beers you get to choose from , it's worth checking out. They have many different beers on tap, with many size options available, which is great if you would like to taste different beer options. My family had the pleasure of visiting Bottlecraft for the first time this past weekend. Finding a great brewery that is toddler friendly with great food and beer offerings can be difficult, but after visiting this weekend we will definitely be back! Bottlecraft had a dozen of beer options, even other breweries! We enjoyed everything we tried and more notably the Japanese IPA. We were easily able to order food at the neighboring establishment, Shoots. Specializing in seafood, we ordered poke, Ensenada fish tacos, fries, and crab and jalapeño mac. Everything was delicious and beautifully complimented the beer. Lastly, our favorite part was the enclosed patio seating area. It was spacious, with all exits gated, and a good size turf area-- all toddler friendly! Our toddler had the best time running around with other kids and we were able to enjoy ourselves with our minds at ease that we were in a safely enclosed patio. Wow, what a little slice of heaven this place is for us craft beer geeks! Decided to take a 45 minute drive to Oceanside just to come here (and see the ocean). Both bartenders were incredibly friendly which made me feel comfortable since I came solo. Other patrons were also friendly and I loved how many cute dogs were there just hanging out. I enjoyed one flight of 4 beers, 1 draught pour, and 1 can pour while I was there. I was quite happy with all of my selections. I also appreciate that with draught pours, they offer taster, 8oz, and 16oz sizes. Their little shop section was great and overwhelming haha So many fantastic beers to choose from. Luckily, taking beers to go was made easier since you can purchase single cans and aren't committed to an entire 4-pack. There was some nice merch (I snagged 2 shirts and a koozie) and also a good selection of wine & mead for any non-beer drinkers. Would definitely recommend this location! Came here on a work tour and it was great, the service was stellar, was able to taste a few and know which one i actually enjoyed instead of having to just guess. I did find a beer i liked, but ultimately ended up with a wine, which is just my preference, but they had so many options. My coworker even found an adorable hat to buy her BF, it was a fun place. While I've now been to all 4 San Diego County Bottlecraft locations (& have already Yelped 2 of those), Oceanside is the 1 I've been getting to the most as of late. 1 block adjacent to the Coast Highway, there's a nice chill vibe here being off of the main drag. It's only street parking, but that hasn't been too tough to find nearby. With roll-up doors in the front & patio seating in the back, there's a welcoming indoor/ outdoor flow to the place. For grub, Shootz Fish is also located inside. Though, I'll confess, I've only ever been here for beers. In that regard, this Bottlecraft is a great bottle shop & taproom. Much like the other Bottlecrafts I've been to. Comparitively, I do feel this Bottlecraft has a smaller cooler & less overall packaged beers than the other SD County locations. It's still quite a bit of beer, both in quantities & selection of styles. & the 24 taps of mostly beers, with a few seltzers or ciders or meads, is a lot like the other Bottlecrafts. Service has always been friendly & knowledgeable of beers. While Oceanside is out of the way for me, this Bottlecraft location is a desired stop to sip a few beers & take a few beers home whenever I'm out near the coast read more

I'm so excited that there's a Bottle Craft here in Oceanside!!!! Many people probably don't know what it is but it's basically a tasting room with beers from different breweries. The one in North Park shares a space with a delicious ass cheese shop. This Bottle Craft shares a space with Shootz which is a seafood spot. When I first hears there was a Bottle Craft in Oceanside I knew I had to get down there and quick. So I made it there and the place is very nice with an outdoor patio, seating inside, beer to go, and Happy Hour specials. Derek the bartender was super cool and answered all my questions The beer menu was a great size with some excellent beers on tap. I really can't wait to come back for a cold one. I really love how there is a seafood spot right next door so I can get and drink at the same time. You have to come and check this place out you won't regret it! read more

This is a really cool spot! We've been to some of the other bottle crafts in SD county and were excited when we heard Oceanside was getting one! The place is off the main drag about a block and tucked away in a cool place called the Tremont Collective. It's basically a series of restaurants, bars, and stores all located near each other. It's a cool layout and tough to describe in words. Bottle Craft has an awesome selection of draft beers with roughly 20 different choices on tap and has an even better selection of cans/bottles. We've been in for some draft beers and to-go beers. If consuming on-site, there are inside and outside seating options and Bottle Craft is connected with a restaurant that serves food. Highly recommend and will be coming back often. read more

Bottlecraft has great vibes. Love going in, choosing a beer and relaxing with my husband. Sometimes they have live music, and I LOVE that Shootz is right there for a yummy taco or fish on a stick. Employees are awesome and we always feel welcome - such a great addition to our neighborhood. Parking is easy and even when it's busy you can park down the block and see all the other cool spots. Only negative is that I haven't looooooved what they have on tap. Usually all IPAs (which aren't my fave - sacrilege, I know), and nothing that really excites me I guess? This place is my favorite beer spot in oceanside. I love a good hazy IPA and they never disappoint. Bartenders are always super helpful and kind too. The outside patio is also super relaxed and fun. Called ahead to see if they sold a specific type of beer glass that I purchase at another bottlecraft location (I believe North Park). I described it on the phone and the girl who I was talking to said they had it and it was $7.99. I drive 30 miles here (because I can't find it anywhere else) and it turns out they just have the normal pint glasses that definitely not what I was looking for. A girl in-person (who looked 18) said they have another location in Carlsbad but could not provide any more information. I looked it up on the website, Google, and Yelp and there was no information about another location so she doesn't know what she's talking about. Additionally there is no parking here! It's street parking if you're lucky and there is a lot behind it but it was full. Came in around 2:30 PM so I can't imagine what it's like during peak hours. Great selection of beers and wine. You can always find something fun and new to try here and the staff is always very helpful. Today we're trying apple pie which is a kombucha/ale hybrid, and a Belgian beer called Dutchess chocolate cherry. Both are really good and you're able to get different sized pours in most beers to meet your beer tasting needs. The selection on top is always diverse and while you're here you can grab food at any one of the wonderful restaurants that are part of the Tremont Collective. read more

Bottlecraft is such an awesome spot in the neighborhood! Glad to have them as neighbors but sad to hear that they are so understaffed that staying open till closing is almost impossible. I've been several times before closing only to have been turned away or told it was last call early, but I know everywhere is understaffed due to the pandemic, and I am confident this spot will make through! The beer selection is incredible and versatile compared to other establishments in the area. The staff on hand is always friendly and knows their stuff about their taps/ what's stocked in the fridge. It has become our go to spot to pick out drinks before heading out of town or to a friends house. The outdoor seating is wonderful, both the back, and the front! Bathrooms on site are clean and there is truly something for everyone here even if you don't like beer! I've tried some of the best sours and seen some very cool selections of kombuchas as well as stouts! There is even food on site: Shootz (also hit or miss if open due to staffing problems)! I hear it is sushi grade fish tacos from the same chef as the plot/whet noodle. Shootz also has beer on tap through Bottlecraft. Point and case- you gotta go! read more

Second time to bottle craft. The first time i had a great time. But the second time was a nightmare. We went to support our friends' child who was playing live in a band. One male bartender was so incredibly rude to us. In multiple interactions, the bartender treated us poorly (one by one) and then began to cut us off when we called him out because "he can refuse service to anyone". I'm from Oceanside and this "communal" spot sure didn't seem community based. read more
