The birria tacos were definitely the standout! Tender beef, cheesy, crispy on the outside and SO good. I would 100% get those again. I got the pollo asado taco bowl with cheese. The chicken and grilled veggies were fresh and good, but I found myself wishing it had something a little more substantial like rice. Nuzz got the carne asada mulitas and loved them. Very cheesy and he'd definitely order them again. We also got chips and guac, which was fresh and definitely worth ordering. The salsa wasn't really our favorite since we prefer it chunkier. You scan a QR code at the table to order and pay, which was pretty cool, and the food came out FAST. The staff was really friendly too, especially the guy who helped wrap everything up when he realized we weren't eating much. Bonus points for the Cokes in big glass bottles! The tap water, however... not so much It was kind of warm and definitely not my favorite. My only real disappointment? NO FISH TACOS! At the beach!! Definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm feeling 100% and really hungry. And those birria tacos are happening again!

Trivia is a bit of a miss. The acoustics in there aren't great to hear the questions well. Rotating food trucks make it a different adventure every time. The rocks and wrought iron work also add to the originality here, not blended into the rest of downtown Oceanside. A really cool spot to visit!

The Paloma somehow captures the vibe of an Aperol Spritz, and the Lavender Hard Lemonade is an absolute summer favorite--especially on a hot day. The food is just as impressive. The buffalo chicken sandwich is hands down the best around, and you can't go wrong with their burgers or pizzas either. Everything I've had has been consistently delicious. They're also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so I always know I'm going to be comfortable, happy, and well-fed. Parking is surprisingly easy too--even on busy PCH, I've always managed to find a spot either on the street or in their small lot. Green Cheek took over the previous space beautifully and has truly made it their own. I have no doubt this will be an Oceanside staple for many years to come. Five stars all the way!

The hubs ordered the Pig burger. Two patties...one beef and one pork with bacon jam, white cheddar and bread/butter pickles. The patties were cooked perfectly and the sweet bacon jam was a perfect addition (I'll be ordering this next visit) Both sandwiches came with thin sliced fries. We sat at the bar and Sean was again our server...very attentive and friendly!
