The quality and consistency of the drinks have gone downhill. I miss the lady/owner who use to make my drinks! Nowadays, it's these two young guys who are there. Your typical tea joint reminiscent of Lollicup except without the crowds. Food: I was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually had an extensive menu of lunch specials, appetizers, teas, desserts, smoothies, and entrees. One of my coworkers had the Taiwanese-style beef noodle, and it came out in a huuuge bowl. There's actually a photo of it on the wall somewhere, but we vastly misjudged the size. Still, he said it wasn't much and both the noodles and beef were subpar. I had the lunch special for the day (Tuesday) for $6.99 -- it included popcorn chicken, rice, half an egg, some veggies, tofu, and your choice of green/black tea or milk tea. Generous portions of each. The popcorn chicken was nothing special, but it was a bit on the saltier side. Milk tea was also standard and icy (in that they put too much ice in the cup), and it tasted similar to Lollicup's milk tea which meant it was overly sweet and milky. Service: There seemed to only be one employee who functioned as both a server and cashier because he handed us our menus as we sat, took our orders, brought us our food, and handled all the take-out orders from other customers. He was polite, and he was efficient. Food came out fast, and when we asked for boxes, he wasn't stingy or angry that almost everyone in our big party wanted one to take home their leftovers. Oh, and I really liked how he would make a full round to my side of the table to set down my food instead of just handing it to me from across; it's a small gesture, but it was nice that he didn't mind making the extra effort. Atmosphere: A little on the smaller side. There were a handful of available tables for parties of 2s and 4s (or you could push together available tables for larger parties). The news was playing on the TV the entire time we were sitting there, but it was in Mandarin so I couldn't understand much other than realizing how weird it was that they censored a woman's cleavage. Would I be back? Sure, if I'm in the area! But I'm in no rush to return, and I definitely wouldn't make a special trip out to Rowland Heights to just get Lollicup milk tea. read more

Have a craving for boba? Tealicious is probably the best boba place in Diamond Bar. Milk tea tastes like what it should, not this ultra sweetened crap from other nearby chains. I'm always up for supporting a local mom & pop shop, so I tried this place due to the positive reviews. I'm usually a milk tea type of person but i was craving a slush so I got the passion fruit slush with boba. The owner as everyone mentioned, gave a free upgrade to a large size as he knew this was my first time there. He also gave me a stamp card with my next purchasing being a free upgrade to a large as well. Also, on the 6th purchase it's a free drink; this is an up sell since boba places usually don't provide a free boba until the 11th purchase. The passion fruit slush was super delicious & the boba perfectly chewy. I will def come back here again to try their other drinks & food. Came here on Halloween night and there was only one other person inside. My friends and I wanted to get a drink here instead of starbucks. I checked in here for the first time, and got the offer: $3 for a large drink. Yay! I got the strawberry smoothie with boba. It was very refreshing. I didn't try the food, but the reviews seem to be saying good things about it. The cashier guy was very friendly. That's why I'm giving them 4stars instead of 3. Not the best Taro Milk Tea. Powder used for taro/milk flavor. How i know? There were clumbs of it left in the drink, making an overall grainy liquid. The boba are not sweet. I come here all the time to pick up a honey lemon green tea! It's perfectly sweet and refreshing when you need a pick-me-up! Have bought food here a couple of times out of convenience and it was just okay. Meh, not impressed. My friend and I ordered their top two dishes, the pork chop and three cup chicken. My friend says majority of her "meat" consisted of fatty pieces. The three cup chicken had proper seasonings, however, the chicken was diced into pieces.. which was strange and made me question what part of the chicken the meat orignated. I would give this place zero star if possible. Today was my first visit to this tea shop and I asked for a cup of milk tea. The lady grabbed a cup and started working on it. I found the cup a little big so I asked her if that's a regular size. She said that's large size and at this time she didn't pour milktea into it yet. I said I didn't choose size yet and I didn't want large size, regular size would be enough for my 9-yr old daughter. She was very unhappy and said everyone chose large size. Well I didn't know about others but I thought I had the right to choose cup size when ordering a milk tea, especially when you had reg size and large size on the menu, reg size should be default. After she said that, she didn't stop what she was doing and poured the tea into the cup and laminated it. Then I said 'ok large is fine then, I will pay for it' and I gave her a $20 bill. Now the real drama began. She gave me changes and tossed some coins on the counter, then grabbed something and hit hard on the tea cup laminated cover, poured the tea to a regular size cup, and laminated it again. I wouldn't expect her to charge me regular price for a large cup and I told her I would pay for large size, but I didn't expect she would open the cup and poured it out to a regular size cup either. Opens pretty late for a boba shop in diamond bar!! Super plus!! I've been a regular here since it opened up a while back, but since I go to school elsewhere now so I didn't know they remodeled + the people (a very friendly elder couple) there changed. The drinks taste the same but the food that they used to have changed a little bit. Didn't get to try the food just yet, but i love the drinks here. But just a little note, personally I like sweet drinks so that's why I like this place; their drinks are extremely sweet, sweeter than most tea places. I come here almost everyday for a late night togo drink when i'm in diamond bar, but every once in a while it would be even too sweet for me. Good boba tea. I like the consistency and texture of the boba. They were nice and chewy unlike some boba that were very hard to chew. The milk honey tea was very nice. Popcorn chicken pretty much tastes the same at every tea places, but this place doesn't put in the green leaves that I love crunching on. The portion is a little smaller for the price if you compare it to other tea places. I would rather go somewhere else to get it. Tapioca Milk Tea - I've had better. Don't get it TWISTED! I go here for the FOOD. It's not a LARGE menu for the FOOD they have and I've only tried 2 dishes and they have about like 5 dishes total. Knockoff Taiwanese cuisine, not authentic. Steer clear! Ordered beef noodle and minced pork rice. Noodles are precooked and reheated, lacking that noodle texture while the beef are of inferior quality. Minced pork rice taste is way off, nothing like the genuine Taiwanese dish. I just don't understand places like this have a chance to survive in this area. Maybe I have ordered the wrong dishes at the wrong time.
