Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Fish is really fresh and gave generous portions Seaweed had the protective plastic cover so it was super crisp when I actually ate it

My first time here at Raw N Dash located in Diamond Bar. This small store is a place where you can pick up fresh Japanese sushi, sashimi, chirahashi or rolls. There is a set of tables inside that you can sit at or you can have it as take-away which I did. I got four hand rolls and a chirahashi bowl which is raw mixed sashimi on a bed of rice. The four hand rolls were super cute and enjoyable. My favorite was the blue crab with avocado that was delicious! But they have a few other varieties such as salmon, scallop, and tuna options. Overall the fish was fresh and enjoyable! Would think this is an awesome option for a cute picnic option.

super friendly staff and very fresh fish! The handrolls only come in a set of 3 or 4 so you cannot order à la carte. I wish that they could offer handrolls by the piece. The chirashi also comes with the sweet shrimp head in miso soup. There is limited seating inside and several tables outside, I would consider this a more to go spot. We enjoyed everything and will be back!

My husband and I came by to Raw N Dash on a random day after completing a grocery run. There's plenty of parking in the front and many more in the complex. First impression is it's a small and quiet spot. They have a long table for group dining and high top seats as well. We ordered the Maki Box of 3 and the Hand Roll Box of 3. For the hand rolls we ordered Salmon, Hamachi and Bluefin Tuna. For the Maki Box we ordered Salmon, Bluefin Tuna and Blue crab + cucumber. Once we received the boxes, my eyes lit up! The size of the fish on the hand rolls were larger than I expected. They tasted just as good as they looked. The fish were fresh and the rice was perfect. We shared each hand roll and were able to get two bites each. The Maki Box was presented elegantly. The sushi pieces were all symmetrical and delicious. My favorite one was the Blue Crab. I also liked their fresh wasabi and pipettes filled with soy sauce to drizzle on the sushi. I felt the pricing for everything was adequate. Staff were nice and the establishment is very clean. Overall, I recommend this business and I would come back again.

Raw N Dash serves up high quality sushi options! They market themselves as Fine Japanese Take Out. The location is set up in that manner. It's a small location with one big table for community dining and some table top seating. There are also patios outside to dine as well. The location as grab and go drinks. I saw other pictures of onigiri to grab, but there was nice the day we came in. The menu has various options of cut rolls, sashimi, hand rolls, poke and maki. Not to mention they sell matcha powders and have matcha drinks to order as well. The location has one cashier taking orders and some sushi is displayed for sale in a display window. We ended up ordering: -Hand Roll Box of 3 - (Salmon/Bluefin Tuna/Hamachi) -Maki Roll Set of 3 - (Salmon/Bluefin Tuna/ Blue Crab + Cucumber for $2 extra) Our orders were ready in about 5-7 minutes. We ended up dining there to enjoy it all fresh. The Hand Rolls had big cuts of fish. The Maki came in a nice little box and looked fresh as can be. The sushi was excellent. You can tell by the vibrant colors how fresh it is. We enjoyed everything. Each bite of maki and hand rolls had us smiling. I'm happy we found a great spot to get a quick bite of premium sushi in Diamond Bar. We'd come by again. Add Raw N Dash to your list and definitely come visit them! Thanks Raw N Dash! ( ^_^)b

My brother and I were craving fish and ordered takeout from Raw N Dash on a Monday afternoon for lunch. I got the 3 handrolls set and my brother got the poke bowl. Though it's on the pricier side, the price is pretty justified by the sheer amount of high quality fish they give. The fish tastes very fresh and extremely tender. My brother also loved how big the poke bowl was; for how great the quality of the fish was, we were expecting smaller portions. The service is also great. The staff walked us through the menu, showed us pictures that were true to what we received, and made thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes. There isn't a lot of seating inside, but I noticed most people ordered takeout from here. Overall, I am looking forward to the next time I visit Raw N Dash to explore more of their menu!

Food is high-quality sushi!!! For a great price.... It's alittle on the slow side... so be patient... It's quiet and small and not great for large parties.... It's right by planet fitness so you can always go to the gym. Get sushi after it's perfect.

New place in the Super Hmart plaza here in Diamond Bar. Came by on a weekday to pick up lunch (take out). Ordered the premium chirashi and the poke bowl. Both the premium chirashi and the poke bowl were freshly made on demand, and so the order took about 15-20mins. The fish provided were very fresh and delicious! The sashimi provided in the premium chirashi were decent size slices, and about two pieces for each different fish, and it also included scallops. Definitely recommend trying the chirashi/premium chirashi. Pricing wise, considering the quality/amount of the sashimi provided, it's not that bad while keeping in mind you are paying for sashimi. Since this place is advertised for premium Japanese takeout, there is not a lot of seating area inside. Plenty of parking outside of the shop. Worth checking it out when in the area!

Small, clean restaurant with friendly staff! Fish was fresh. We ordered 4-hand rolls and 6 pieces sashimi. Everything was beautifully packaged and delicious. We'll definitely be back to try other items.

Great little sushi togo spot! Honestly one of the freshest, fairly priced, and great tasting togo sushi spot out in DB. Everything tasted amazing and the size of the fish was huge! 100% would return.

so exciting to see a togo high quality sushi place in the area by my work! the quality and attention to detail for their store decoration is something to note as well. we decided to order online in order to eat our food right away when we get there for lunch. what caught my eye was the handroll set! -- since the seaweed come plastic wrapped so eat handroll is fresh when eating. they also serve matcha -- bought both the ceremonial grade and regular matcha. personally. the quality difference is there but if you arent too much of a matcha expert, the regular matcha latte is good enough. so far my favorites: - 4 handroll set (salmon, spicy tuna, hamachi, scallop) - ceremonial grade matcha latte (sweeten with honey)

Absolutely amazing! Fresh seafood, great presentation, very clean restaurant and friendly staff.

They also give you complimentary edamame and cucumber salad, which was such a nice little bonus before the main event. One of my friends ordered the chirashi bowl and it looked like a bouquet of all kinds of fish. We also got the chef's assorted sashimi (amazing assortment) the ankimo special (SO good), and the 4 piece hand roll special (could probably skip this one and save stomach space). For nigiri, we ordered uni, toro, tai, and yellowtail (all amazing.) The uni was especially creamy and delicious. The salmon belly was mesmerizing, the yellowtail belly melts in your mouth and did I mention the ankimo? We also ordered a fish only tempura, and they even gave us our own tempura dipping sauce. It's the small details like that that really make a difference. 10/10, come hungry, leave very full and slightly emotionally attached.

My sister barely eats these days because she's on Ozempic, so we honestly didn't expect her to eat much, but she LOVED the food. I loved it too. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. What really made the experience memorable though was how they went out of their way for her birthday. They sang happy birthday to her, brought out a birthday hat, and made her feel celebrated without us even really expecting anything. Usually we're too shy to ask for birthday celebrations at restaurants, so the fact that they did it on their own made it feel extra special and honestly made her night. We were a party of two and did a sashimi combo for two. Food was fresh and delicious. The portion was perfect for two. I was really amazed. The fish soup tied it really well at the end of the meal. Service was really great. Owner was very friendly and hospitality was top notch. Would recommend this restaurant for a great meal with no fuss. Great for friends gathering, family meal or a nice casual meal.
