I go to the gym nearby. And after working out sometimes I need something to eat after and glad I saw Raw N Dash open! I love how easy it is to order and the lady who helped me was answering all my questions. It's a take out situation and there's some seating outside. There are also a lot of parks nearby to enjoy the food. Can't wait to come back again!!

My first time here at Raw N Dash located in Diamond Bar. This small store is a place where you can pick up fresh Japanese sushi, sashimi, chirahashi or rolls. There is a set of tables inside that you can sit at or you can have it as take-away which I did. I got four hand rolls and a chirahashi bowl which is raw mixed sashimi on a bed of rice. The four hand rolls were super cute and enjoyable. My favorite was the blue crab with avocado that was delicious! But they have a few other varieties such as salmon, scallop, and tuna options. Overall the fish was fresh and enjoyable! Would think this is an awesome option for a cute picnic option.

Raw N Dash serves up high quality sushi options! They market themselves as Fine Japanese Take Out. The location is set up in that manner. It's a small location with one big table for community dining and some table top seating. There are also patios outside to dine as well. The location as grab and go drinks. I saw other pictures of onigiri to grab, but there was nice the day we came in. The menu has various options of cut rolls, sashimi, hand rolls, poke and maki. Not to mention they sell matcha powders and have matcha drinks to order as well. The location has one cashier taking orders and some sushi is displayed for sale in a display window. We ended up ordering: -Hand Roll Box of 3 - (Salmon/Bluefin Tuna/Hamachi) -Maki Roll Set of 3 - (Salmon/Bluefin Tuna/ Blue Crab + Cucumber for $2 extra) Our orders were ready in about 5-7 minutes. We ended up dining there to enjoy it all fresh. The Hand Rolls had big cuts of fish. The Maki came in a nice little box and looked fresh as can be. The sushi was excellent. You can tell by the vibrant colors how fresh it is. We enjoyed everything. Each bite of maki and hand rolls had us smiling. I'm happy we found a great spot to get a quick bite of premium sushi in Diamond Bar. We'd come by again. Add Raw N Dash to your list and definitely come visit them! Thanks Raw N Dash! ( ^_^)b

Maki Box of 3: Salmon, Blue Fin Tuna, Blue Crab

My husband and I came by to Raw N Dash on a random day after completing a grocery run. There's plenty of parking in the front and many more in the complex. First impression is it's a small and quiet spot. They have a long table for group dining and high top seats as well. We ordered the Maki Box of 3 and the Hand Roll Box of 3. For the hand rolls we ordered Salmon, Hamachi and Bluefin Tuna. For the Maki Box we ordered Salmon, Bluefin Tuna and Blue crab + cucumber. Once we received the boxes, my eyes lit up! The size of the fish on the hand rolls were larger than I expected. They tasted just as good as they looked. The fish were fresh and the rice was perfect. We shared each hand roll and were able to get two bites each. The Maki Box was presented elegantly. The sushi pieces were all symmetrical and delicious. My favorite one was the Blue Crab. I also liked their fresh wasabi and pipettes filled with soy sauce to drizzle on the sushi. I felt the pricing for everything was adequate. Staff were nice and the establishment is very clean. Overall, I recommend this business and I would come back again.

Chirashi

super friendly staff and very fresh fish! The handrolls only come in a set of 3 or 4 so you cannot order à la carte. I wish that they could offer handrolls by the piece. The chirashi also comes with the sweet shrimp head in miso soup. There is limited seating inside and several tables outside, I would consider this a more to go spot. We enjoyed everything and will be back!

My brother and I were craving fish and ordered takeout from Raw N Dash on a Monday afternoon for lunch. I got the 3 handrolls set and my brother got the poke bowl. Though it's on the pricier side, the price is pretty justified by the sheer amount of high quality fish they give. The fish tastes very fresh and extremely tender. My brother also loved how big the poke bowl was; for how great the quality of the fish was, we were expecting smaller portions. The service is also great. The staff walked us through the menu, showed us pictures that were true to what we received, and made thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes. There isn't a lot of seating inside, but I noticed most people ordered takeout from here. Overall, I am looking forward to the next time I visit Raw N Dash to explore more of their menu!

Food is high-quality sushi!!! For a great price.... It's alittle on the slow side... so be patient... It's quiet and small and not great for large parties.... It's right by planet fitness so you can always go to the gym. Get sushi after it's perfect.

New place in the Super Hmart plaza here in Diamond Bar. Came by on a weekday to pick up lunch (take out). Ordered the premium chirashi and the poke bowl. Both the premium chirashi and the poke bowl were freshly made on demand, and so the order took about 15-20mins. The fish provided were very fresh and delicious! The sashimi provided in the premium chirashi were decent size slices, and about two pieces for each different fish, and it also included scallops. Definitely recommend trying the chirashi/premium chirashi. Pricing wise, considering the quality/amount of the sashimi provided, it's not that bad while keeping in mind you are paying for sashimi. Since this place is advertised for premium Japanese takeout, there is not a lot of seating area inside. Plenty of parking outside of the shop. Worth checking it out when in the area!

The quality of the sushi was amazing. I would say it leans towards the pricier side but you can taste it as well. The fish was soft, buttery and flavorful. The portion was okay but then again i'm American and we like big portions so they could be bigger imo. I also got the Poki Bowl because I was still hungry after my three pieces of sushi but I didn't get a picture. My friend got the Box set of 4 and he equally enjoyed and rated it high as well. I loved the salmon as a salmon connoisseur it melts in your mouth, I wanted the spicy tuna but they were out for the day though the regular tuna was delicious so I am excited to try their spicy tuna, the spicy scallop was nice and my friend got the tempura shrimp and said it was yummy as well. The customer service was very nice! A very sweet lady I forgot to get her name . The inside of the place is a bit small but they have sitting areas outside. Overall I enjoyed what I ordered, the customer service and experience. I would definitely recommend if you like trying new stuff and or enjoy quality sushi and got the coins to spend. I will definitely be back.

Great little sushi togo spot! Honestly one of the freshest, fairly priced, and great tasting togo sushi spot out in DB. Everything tasted amazing and the size of the fish was huge! 100% would return.

Excited to see another new restaurant open in this plaza, this time in the spot that Mochinut used to be. Came here at 12:30PM on a Thursday. My friend and I each ordered a Premium Chirashi ($45) and a Takoyaki ($9). About a 20 minute wait from ordering to eating, if you're in a rush, for sure try and order by phone if available. Takoyaki was on par with what I expected for the price. The Premium Chirashi included a large variety and portion of fish and came with a side of soup with the head from the shrimp. Would've liked to see Uni in it at this price point but understandable given how much fish was included. The restaurant was clean and well lit with many seating options should you choose to eat inside but also lots of seating outside. Will definitely return!

I remember there was a time getting a poké bowl with Toby up near Seattle and she told me what I had gotten was 50% different than the last time we had gotten bowls together. It's just not something I get often enough to have a standard order. That being said, what I got today at Mr. Poke was excellent. All the fresh seafood was chunky and delicious. All the sauces and marinades blended well. My only wish is that I had thrown in a little extra sauce because my bowl was drier than I remember getting other places. I guess that sort of thing would come from ordering bowls more. The staff was great. They were super fast and courteous. I guess I was hoping for a little more guidance as to what to include, but that's not their problem. The space was a little small, but inviting. They had enough tables for what seems like is the normal dine-in crowd. It was very clean and laid out spaciously. I could see myself being able to catch on a few chapters here with no problems. I'm trying to get back on a healthier diet so I may see myself back here sooner rather than later.

Pokimania is my go-to spot for poke. I am so happy I tried this place out about three years ago,…read moreI've been going here ever since. First, the service is incredible. The staff members are welcoming, patient, and quick. The food here is by far a standout. The fish quality is always really good and the serving size is amazing. There was another poke place I went to in Chino Hills (that has since closed) that had such a small serving size for the price. Pokimania gives you a great serving size and the quality is always top tier. I normally get either the 3-scoop or the 4-scoop, and it is plenty to fill you up. Only thing I am sad about is that I think recently (within the last 6-months) they changed their wonton chips and I liked the old ones better. Even so, this place is an easy 5/5 and I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, my recent visit was a huge disappointment. The quality has gone significantly downhill. They now offer mostly pre-made poke with very few options that aren't already covered in sauce. They also no longer carry albacore, so I ordered regular tuna and salmon instead. The house spicy sauce was still good, but that's about where the positives ended. The first bite of tuna immediately raised a red flag. It had a noticeable odor and an unpleasant taste. It definitely did not taste fresh, or at the very least, it didn't seem like it had been stored properly. I went back to the counter and mentioned it to the staff. The employee who made my bowl--possibly the manager or owner--told me it was bluefin tuna and that it was supposed to taste that way. I explained that I've eaten poke at plenty of places and fresh tuna does not taste like that. He kept insisting it was just a matter of "preference." Sorry, but fresh fish isn't a preference--it's a requirement. To their credit, they did offer to replace the tuna, and I swapped it out for more salmon. Unfortunately, by that point my appetite was gone. The salmon was edible, but I couldn't bring myself to enjoy the meal and ended up throwing away the entire bowl. It pains me to leave such a low rating because they did try to make it right, but this place needs to do better. These bowls aren't cheap, and it was frustrating to throw away a $15+ meal because I couldn't eat it. Sadly, I can't recommend this place anymore

There's a little robot that brings your food to your table, and I don't usually find myself to be waiting too long for the food. My only complaint is that when you order the half salad, half rice, I often find myself with a 3/4 salad, 1/4 rice ratio bowl in front of me. Although I do enjoy my veggies as well, I wish they were able to keep that ratio at closer to a half-half.
