The quality of the sushi was amazing. I would say it leans towards the pricier side but you can taste it as well. The fish was soft, buttery and flavorful. The portion was okay but then again i'm American and we like big portions so they could be bigger imo. I also got the Poki Bowl because I was still hungry after my three pieces of sushi but I didn't get a picture. My friend got the Box set of 4 and he equally enjoyed and rated it high as well. I loved the salmon as a salmon connoisseur it melts in your mouth, I wanted the spicy tuna but they were out for the day though the regular tuna was delicious so I am excited to try their spicy tuna, the spicy scallop was nice and my friend got the tempura shrimp and said it was yummy as well. My husband and I came by to Raw N Dash on a random day after completing a grocery run. There's plenty of parking in the front and many more in the complex. First impression is it's a small and quiet spot. They have a long table for group dining and high top seats as well. We ordered the Maki Box of 3 and the Hand Roll Box of 3. For the hand rolls we ordered Salmon, Hamachi and Bluefin Tuna. For the Maki Box we ordered Salmon, Bluefin Tuna and Blue crab + cucumber. Once we received the boxes, my eyes lit up! The size of the fish on the hand rolls were larger than I expected. They tasted just as good as they looked. The fish were fresh and the rice was perfect. We shared each hand roll and were able to get two bites each. The Maki Box was presented elegantly. The sushi pieces were all symmetrical and delicious. My favorite one was the Blue Crab. I also liked their fresh wasabi and pipettes filled with soy sauce to drizzle on the sushi. I felt the pricing for everything was adequate. Staff were nice and the establishment is very clean. I saw other pictures of onigiri to grab, but there was nice the day we came in. The menu has various options of cut rolls, sashimi, hand rolls, poke and maki. Not to mention they sell matcha powders and have matcha drinks to order as well. The location has one cashier taking orders and some sushi is displayed for sale in a display window. We ended up ordering: -Hand Roll Box of 3 - (Salmon/Bluefin Tuna/Hamachi) -Maki Roll Set of 3 - (Salmon/Bluefin Tuna/ Blue Crab + Cucumber for $2 extra) Our orders were ready in about 5-7 minutes. My brother and I were craving fish and ordered takeout from Raw N Dash on a Monday afternoon for lunch. I got the 3 handrolls set and my brother got the poke bowl. Though it's on the pricier side, the price is pretty justified by the sheer amount of high quality fish they give. The fish tastes very fresh and extremely tender. My brother also loved how big the poke bowl was; for how great the quality of the fish was, we were expecting smaller portions. The service is also great. The staff walked us through the menu, showed us pictures that were true to what we received, and made thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes. Both the premium chirashi and the poke bowl were freshly made on demand, and so the order took about 15-20mins. The fish provided were very fresh and delicious! The sashimi provided in the premium chirashi were decent size slices, and about two pieces for each different fish, and it also included scallops. Definitely recommend trying the chirashi/premium chirashi. Pricing wise, considering the quality/amount of the sashimi provided, it's not that bad while keeping in mind you are paying for sashimi. My friend and I each ordered a Premium Chirashi ($45) and a Takoyaki ($9). About a 20 minute wait from ordering to eating, if you're in a rush, for sure try and order by phone if available. Takoyaki was on par with what I expected for the price. The Premium Chirashi included a large variety and portion of fish and came with a side of soup with the head from the shrimp. Would've liked to see Uni in it at this price point but understandable given how much fish was included. There are a few tables inside and outside in front. I stopped by here during the soft opening when they were offering 10 percent off (essentially the LA County meals tax). I ordered a Poke Bowl ($18 plus tax) with choices of base, proteins, veggies, sauces, toppings, which was made to order in the back kitchen and ready to go in about 7 minutes. The custom poke bowl was a good and fresh mix of ingredients, which had half & half of mixed greens, sushi rice, spicy tuna, salmon, albacore, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, creamy wasabi, house poke sauce, edamame, imitation crab salad, seaweed salad. furikake, tempura flakes. We ended up ordering two sets of the 4 piece hand rolls. Fish quality is top notch, the rice is slightly on the chewy side, the only complaint was that there was a fish bone in the salmon handroll. Never had fish bone in a handroll before so if you have little ones or kids it may not be a good idea. There was a cute little squeeze bottle of soy sauce which was a great touch, but no wasabi included. I would recommend offering assorted sashimi like YAMA, as we were considering ordering the sashimi/sushi but the pieces/portion are just too big for 2 people. That was why we opted for hand rolls. I ordered my food at the counter and sat down with my laptop to do a little work. My food was ready shortly, it came packed to-go. I immediately let the staff know, and they fixed my order, no problem. After I got my correct order, I was very disappointed to see how little food there was in the container. With how little service they have, you'd think they'd give you more fish (only one other customer came in while I was there, and they ended up leaving without ordering anything). For $19 I can get over double the food, driving the same distance in the opposite direction of my house. Overall, the taste was good, the food was fresh. I appreciated the light sauce as I requested, but I found it strange the sauce was tossed on the greens like a salad dressing. If I do come back, it definitely won't be for a poke bowl.
