Came back to try their bubble milk tea. I have to say it was a solid milk tea and the boba was warm, sweet, and chewy. For over $8 a drink, youre paying for made to order drinks and quality. I have yet to order something I don't like, but I dont think that will happen. Definitely a great choice for tea and boba!

Been here a few times now and the teas are always solid. Sometimes the line here gets really long when I've been here on the weekend, but this last time was reasonable when I came in during lunchtime on a weekday. I like how easy it is to choose your tea options and added toppings. The taro balls are my favorite topping and they are seasonal. I feel like the drinks could be a little bigger, but overall, this is a great place to grab a drink. There is very limited seating inside, so this is more of a to-go option.

They do not let you customize your drink and add toppings like boba into creamy lemon tart drink... please change this

I got the bubble milk tea and was very impressed with the quality. There was a very strong tea flavor and the boba was warm and perfectly soft, not too chewy. Would definitely come back to try other drinks.

My first time having Chi Cha and I was so surprised with how much I liked it. I'm always a sipper, but I chugged my drink in a few minutes. Their boba is so fresh, chewy, and cooked to perfection. Upon entering the store, you get the aroma of tea and boba. There was only two tables indoors, you can order at the kiosk. ig: @cravingswithcat

The tea is exquisite, and the service is on par. The waiter is very knowledgeable about the different tea types, and shows us the individual tea's scent as he explains. My order: High Mountain Pouchong Tea + Organic Milk + Bubble (light sugar, hot): After setting the drink aside for a while, the tea's sweet, refreshing fragrance sinks into the drink. It was light sugar, but the sweetness of the tea/milk made the drink sweeter than expected. Dong Ding Oolong tea + Organic milk + Bubble (light sugar, less ice): Heavy smokey aroma with a light bitterness from the tea. The inside is spacious with very limited seating (2 tables, 4 chairs). The drink is great, the price is on the higher end for the cup size.

Among the availability of amazing boba shops that have served the 626 area for so long, it's hard to still create novel beverages, but this Taiwan chain is welcome to be doing just that! All over the shop they have multiple accolades praising their various teas. From my understanding they use a kind of "teapresso" setup to create a strong, yet smooth tea that makes its presence known in any drink you order. I also love the customizability of the drinks, from different toppings and the different teas that they brew. Their tapioca is cooked perfectly, just the right amount of chew and a little sweet. They also have samples sometimes which is great. A little on the pricier side I will say, but every once in a while a nice treat to have.

CHICHA San Chen in Rowland Heights is next-level when it comes to premium Taiwanese tea. Known for their fresh, loose-leaf teas steeped to order, every cup is rich, fragrant, and beautifully crafted. The menu is diverse with creative options and unique toppings, plus customizable sugar and ice levels, perfect for true tea lovers. I ordered the Green Tea / 松針綠茶 with its rich jasmine aroma and sweet, refreshing finish and wow... this is high-premium tea on another level.

Creamy Mango Tart

Was told this was a tea place I need to try. Usually, I down all my teas because it's so sweet and refreshing, but the tea here? You want to enjoy and savor it. I ordered the creamy mango tart and it was so delicious, you can really taste the quality of tea. It's sweet with mango, the tea was earthy, and was the perfect creaminess without being overly sweetened. Packaging is also nice, along with the ordering system and just watching them make the tea. You can tell they are well trained and precise, and that every cup was made to perfection. The price tag was a little more pricey especially without any toppings, but worth the try.

Grape oolong

Overall, you can definitely taste the quality of the oolong tea and the teas taste amazing. I ordered the grape oolong and it was pretty good. I would get light sweetness though. Service, personally, is the best it can be with how busy they can get, especially on the weekends. We literally had to wait up to 1 hr for our drinks. I don't think it's really worth more than a 15 min wait. I wish they had more seating inside but it looks more like a togo spot. Its still one of the better boba places around, but definitely come here off peak times.

Vivian C.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the aroma of tea and a bright, clean interior. I ordered online this time, which saved me a lot of waiting. They mention that their tea is always freshly brewed, and you can really tell--it tastes much more natural and less artificial than other places. This is definitely my favorite tea spot right now!

Black Tea with Organic Milk and boba and Green Tea with Organic Milk and boba

We were in town for the weekend and came here to finally try this out. The inside was small and everybody was just crowding the area near the counter to pick up your drinks. The line was long but it was moving fairly quick so it wasn't bad unlike when this was in the Bay Area and people were waiting like 5 hours (maybe not). The menu had a lot of options to choose from. We ordered the Green Tea with Organic Milk and boba, Black Tea with Organic Milk and boba, and Green Tea with Mousse. All of the drinks were good and definitely had that tea flavor. I'm not sure if it's for everybody but it was good to me. The amount of tea for each cup was good enough for one person. I would recommend any of the drinks we had. Good drinks here and I would come back if I was in the area.

Isaac C.

I don't have any negative comments about the drinks themselves. I tried the Grape Osmanthus Tea with Konjac and the classic Bubble Milk Tea, and both tasted very clean with the tea flavor clearly coming through. The boba was cooked to perfect chewiness, and the milk tea is probably one of the best you can get in the States. The konjac jelly was a nice addition to the lightness and fragrance of the grape drink. Usually when I order grape drinks, they taste super artificial, but this one actually had peeled grapes in it. I did have to think hard about giving this place 5 stars since $8.50 for a drink is a little ridiculous.

First impressions is that they have two self ordering kiosks. Already a HUGE plus. Space is pretty standard for a grab and go combo with hangout spot. Couple of tables inside and all pretty spacious. Very clean as well which is a nice plus. I love the subtle light green deco all around the shop, which gave of chill vibes overall. Parking - Free in a large outdoor parking lot. Some spots can be a bit tight so watch out for that. One thing I always look at when I visit new tea shops are their cups. Chayan has great cups, sturdy, cute yet simple design, and easy to hold. It's also pretty unique compared to other shops when you think about it. -- WHAT WE ORDERD -- -- Peach Oolong Milk Tea -- ($6.29) - This might be the perfect drink on a HOT DAY. It's refreshing, not too overpowering when it comes to the peach. Very standard and to the point. Very easy to sip and finish within seconds! -- Black Tea Frappe -- ($6.89) - Love this drink. It comes with an option to add Pecan nuts on top of your whipped cream thats above some fresh milk tea. Made the drink very creamy but also very savory to a sense. Refreshing and perfect on a hot day. It's also one of their most popular options, highly recommend. Overall, a wonderful tea spot addition to SoCal. Loved the vibes here and it's certainly one of my go to tea places now whenever I'm in Rowland. Before they used to just use your phone number through Toast, but now they have their own app. Today when I ordered my drinks, I asked if there was a way to earn rewards or input my number for the $30 worth of drinks I just bought for my family, but I was told that I needed to have asked BEFORE I had ordered and paid and that there was no way to upload the receipt on the app to earn points. How are consumers supposed to know to ask beforehand when most rewards systems allow you to input a number after you pay? Plus, the guy taking my order didn't seem pretty eager to help out and just gave me the classic Gen-Z stare . Customer service just tends to be a hit or miss here. I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! The monk's blend was an iced Ceylon black tea with a touch of vanilla and grenadine. Although this drink is a signature menu item, I didn't really enjoy the citrusy and plum-like tartness. Most of the popcorn chicken pieces had a crispy texture, whereas others were a tad soggy. With medium spice, the chicken was very flavorful. The popcorn chicken came in an oyster pail that looked a little small, but the portion size still seemed adequate for the price. I ended up drinking the tea first before eating the chicken because the flavors did not leave a complementary aftertaste. Also, I got my tea first, but the staff forgot to give me the popcorn chicken even though they said that it's on the way. I had to follow up after waiting several minutes.
