Somethings weird with the Euclid location, this location has all the ingredients sourced perfectly while as the euclid location has issues with its syrup, but after contacting corporate twice, they said they had a logisitics issue with a syrup and decided to change it for the rainbow tea Whereas the euclid location had some kind of syrup where theres almost 0 redness and tastes super sour while this location in Rowland Heights taste even better with lots of the red syrup. Im not sure if this is a training staff issue on making drinks or each location makes their drinks slightly different. I would recommend not going to the Euclid location and going to this one instead. If anyone has any answers would be nice as i keep getting conflicting answers from corporate. read more

It sucks to not give this place 5 stars, but I'm not a fan of how they've advanced their rewards program. As someone who's been a loyal consumer over the past few years, I'm not a fan with the transition to their new rewards system. Before they used to just use your phone number through Toast, but now they have their own app. Today when I ordered my drinks, I asked if there was a way to earn rewards or input my number for the $30 worth of drinks I just bought for my family, but I was told that I needed to have asked BEFORE I had ordered and paid and that there was no way to upload the receipt on the app to earn points. How are consumers supposed to know to ask beforehand when most rewards systems allow you to input a number after you pay? Plus, the guy taking my order didn't seem pretty eager to help out and just gave me the classic Gen-Z stare . Customer service just tends to be a hit or miss here. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after what happened to my daughter at Summerfield Tea Bar in Rowland Heights, I feel obligated to warn other families with food allergies. We ordered the Rainbow Tea and immediately noticed it looked much cloudier than usual. Because my daughter has a serious dairy allergy, we asked the worker MULTIPLE times if there was any milk or dairy in the drink. We were repeatedly assured it was completely dairy-free and that the different appearance was due to them changing syrups. Shortly after drinking it, my daughter suffered a severe allergic reaction that sent us to the ER for over 8 hours. Watching your child struggle to breathe and fearing for their life is something no parent should ever experience -- especially after specifically asking staff about allergens several times. What should have been a nice Mother's Day turned into one of the most traumatic days of my life. If your establishment is unsure about ingredients or cross-contamination, DO NOT confidently tell customers a drink is allergy-safe. Food allergies are not preferences -- they are life-threatening medical conditions. Gosh, if I was kiddo, I would definitely come here. It seems like a high school hangout on weekends. To be exact, I was told there was a formal event that evening. Anyhow, the few times I've been here, I felt like an elder... seriously everyone is so young hanging out here. Their teas are decent. Summerfield is my go to spot to get oolong milk tea in the area. Inside is nice, vibrant and lively. Usually occupied with people studying or hanging out. During busy times, it can get pretty full and loud inside, but there's also patio seating which is nice if you want to enjoy the weather. You can order either through walk-in or drive-thru. Drive-thru can get really really busy usually after 8/9pm on Fridays and Weekends. I would avoid these days and times unless you want to wait for a while. Roasted Oolong Milk Tea 7/10 - this tends to be my control drink across all boba places. Not all boba places offer a standard oolong milk tea, so it's nice that they have this on the menu. Overall a very standard milk tea. Tea flavor comes through but is on the sweeter side, would recommend doing 50 or 75 percent sweet. Sometimes the texture of the boba can be inconsistent. Some days the boba is cooked perfectly. Some days the boba is overcooked. Otherwise, it is pretty consistent, but nothing special. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! This place is usually really busy. Long lines inside and also for the drive through they have. I ordered the milk tea here and some food items like the Tofu and popcorn chicken. The tofu was pretty good, I liked the seasoning they used. The popcorn chicken on the other hand is very meh. It's just like frozen popcorn chicken fried and there is no basil or much of a seasoning to it. The tofu is seasoned better. The milk tea I got was standard, a bit on the sweeter side. Parking for this place is horrendous. One of the worst parking lots ever and mixed in with the drive through, there are spots where you will get boxed in. I usually park on the street and walk in. There is like an apartment near by but DO NOT PARK THERE. They actively tow cars. The restroom is not integrated into the restaurant. It's outside the back. It looks pretty sketchy walking there but the inside of the restroom is not bad. Relatively clean. Overall, it's an okay tea place. There's so many logistical challenges that I don't really like to come here.
