Damn nice vibes and the drinks are pretty darn good!!! Lots of good seating and fast service! Love it

Ray S.

Service is absolutely horrendous. Ordered multiple drinks. Order got split. Like literally 30+ minutes to get drinks. Meanwhile all orders after mine were fulfilled. Lobby had zero air conditioning. Order was not correct. Multiple drinks practically had no sweetness despite a sticker saying 50%. Tastes like plain flavored water. Drinks were just placed on counter, and I was given a bag to bag the drinks myself. Brightspot : At least I wasn't charged a bag fee. As a business, if you know you're busy, you need to overstaff, especially at 5pm on a Saturday.

Man I'm trying to look good for summer, but this drink makes it so difficult. I've been going here with my friends for a little while now since it's open late and has plenty of seating. It's a good spot to end the night after a satisfying meal. I will say, it gets super busy and you might wait a minute for your drink. But that's expected. Taro slush, 9.5/10: Probably the best taro drink I've ever had. Gotta go no toppings. Watch the carbs. Not too sweet. It's perfectly smooth and creamy. The natural sweetness and subtle earthiness from the taro really comes through. I was actually surprised. The ice is blended very finely, but it's also not chunky. It seems simple, but hard to do right. Ngl, they did their thing with this one.

Don't park against the tan cream wall! You may get your car towed

Not sure what the hype is. It was extremely busy on a Tuesday night at 11pm (on 12/30/2025), maybe all the kids are still on winter break? We ordered 2 drinks and took almost 45 minutes for them to come out. You can order online to avoid the wait. Drinks were mediocre. So busy there wasn't much parking. Beware that Summerfield only has 9 parking spots right behind their building. On the other side of their drive through there is a shared parking lot with the bank next door, I'm sure you can park there. What you don't want to do is park against the tan cream wall, there is a high chance you will get your car towed. That row of parking spots belong to the apartment complex behind. Unfortunately, my friend parked in that row and got their car towed by the apartment complex which cost them $900 to retrieve their car back. It sucked but we can laugh about it now. Lunaria Milk Tea -caffeine free, tasted pretty bland. Not much tea flavor and not much milk/creamy flavor. Wasn't bad but wouldn't order again. Thai Tea -also pretty bland, tea flavor isn't as strong as I would prefer. Wasn't bad but wasn't amazing..

First time here and i thought matcha here was okay. First thing I noticed is their drive thru. Very convenient, I don't see many boba places with drive through. Interior here is spacious and has outdoor seatings as well. I ordered their Uji matcha latte ($7). I thought matcha flavor was a bit light. I got half sweet and it wasn't that sweet, maybe sweet like a 25%. This place was crowded and I see a tv with people's order number, whether their drive is ready for pick up. Almost feels like a fast food place.

Drive thru is awesome! Staff is always nice. LOVE their Legendary Oreo and Aloha drinks; never had an issue with their popcorn chicken. I read the other reviews and it sucks to hear others had a different experience. I've been here a dozen times; couple times I passed on it because of the parking (it gets busy, I get it and don't mind, I just go to a different boba place). When it's not busy I love catching up with friends outside. The patio is super cute with the lighting.

Spooky Latte BOGO

Last day for BOGO Spooky Latte! It's sooooo good!! Love the chai and pumpkin spice flavors together. Quick and easy order through their new app and pick up in store. Everything was ready when I got there. Love the vibes inside. There were a lot of people, but I didn't have to wait since I ordered ahead of time! This has become one of my favorite tea shops!

I almost forgot about this place until the newly opened Summerfield Tea Bar in Rosemead reminded me of it. To my surprise, it's actually very close to where I go for acupuncture every week. This place is used to be Dragonfly tea bar many many years ago that we came here for a late nite boba w a group of yelpers. I had tried their Matcha Gon' Bananas before with 50% sugar, but it was still too sweet for me. This time I ordered it with 0% sugar, and I really enjoyed it. Their boba is always consistently good! This location is very convenient, with a large parking lot and even a drive-thru. One thing to note: the Matcha gon' Bananas drinks tend to take a little longer to prepare, so it's best to order ahead online if you can.

Stawberry tea, Mango Sun, boba milk tea
Michelle T.

Super busy at night. They have a drive thru. You can order online to avoid the wait. We tried the: Mango sun, Rainbow snow, Original milk tea + honey boba, & Strawberry green tea + honey boba. It was $28 for 4 drinks. I was not a fan of the strawberry green tea, it was not sweet enough and did not have any strawberry taste.

Angelynne Z.

Great place to settle down and work or catch up with friends (be aware of the right most seat getting lots of sunlight during the afternoon), hence the higher rating. Food and drinks are just alright, and I would not come solely for the drinks, especially considering the surrounding area Popcorn chicken ($9) gets you about 5-7 pieces of chicken within a cup slightly larger than a typical ice cream pint - just alright, nothing too special to note, and while it is a good snack to have I will say it is on the pricier side As for their fruit teas (typically $5-7), I honestly can hardly tell the difference between any of the drinks as they often come out tasting roughly the same.

Derek N.

I have been coming here for years and I can confidently say that the quality of the drinks along with the service has declined. I waited about 40 minutes just to get two drinks, which is absolutely absurd, it's not even worth it at this point and the drinks were poorly made. my Matcha drink had cream foam along the sides, and the top of it was not closed all the way, causing it to spill it in my car. Very disappointing and very low quality made. I ended up getting the Matcha colada (newest drink) which was overly sweet and when I tried to mix it, the lid was not securely tightened and ended up spilling in my car. the ambience of the store is small and overcrowded, the tables arnt wiped because they're hogged by students studying. overall, will not be coming here anymore. Drinks are made poorly, as if they don't even care about whether or not they mess up your drink and line inside and drive thru were long. waste of my $7 as i ended up with sticky hands and a messy car!

My family patronize summerfield a lot because it's close to the schools. My kids used to like the food here, but recently the quality has gone down a lot. This is the chicken we received today. 2 pieces of really dry chicken and rest are crumbs without chicken. Paid almost $10 for it. Hope management will pay attention to quality control.

Ana T.

I was in Rowland Heights in the early morning and wanted some tea. This place opens earlier than the other stores in the area, so that was nice. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte on the kiosk. The drink took a while, but that was okay since I had time. It was good, and I'm glad I went with the recommended sugar level.

First impressions is that they have two self ordering kiosks. Already a HUGE plus. Space is pretty standard for a grab and go combo with hangout spot. Couple of tables inside and all pretty spacious. Some spots can be a bit tight so watch out for that. One thing I always look at when I visit new tea shops are their cups. Chayan has great cups, sturdy, cute yet simple design, and easy to hold. It comes with an option to add Pecan nuts on top of your whipped cream thats above some fresh milk tea. Made the drink very creamy but also very savory to a sense. Refreshing and perfect on a hot day. It's also one of their most popular options, highly recommend. Overall, a wonderful tea spot addition to SoCal. Loved the vibes here and it's certainly one of my go to tea places now whenever I'm in Rowland. I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! Most of the popcorn chicken pieces had a crispy texture, whereas others were a tad soggy. With medium spice, the chicken was very flavorful. The popcorn chicken came in an oyster pail that looked a little small, but the portion size still seemed adequate for the price. I ended up drinking the tea first before eating the chicken because the flavors did not leave a complementary aftertaste. Also, I got my tea first, but the staff forgot to give me the popcorn chicken even though they said that it's on the way. I had to follow up after waiting several minutes. Quality tea, speedy service, and enough creamy foam happiness to make a milestone review feel deserved!! Highly recommend!!! Now for some poetry that's inspired my 1000th review: Warm glazed memories sift through my reverie. A pink box opened in the summer of 24. Days were bleak and hollow like a bakery shelf at closing. I saw the saddest eyes, soft as powdered sugar falling. Sweet like a dalgona cloud top koan-im oolong latte, but carrying a quiet ache no frosting could hide. That summer you saved me, like the first bite of something new when you thought you'd forgotten what butterflies felt like. The season changed and you suddenly disappeared.... just an empty pink box on the counter. Only crumbs remain now, where your strawberry-glazed humor used to melt into every moment like sugar on warm dough. My heart split like a jelly donut. Still, I'm grateful as the world is as it should be. I pass by the donut shop on 66 and smile. People think it's just about donuts. But once.... a long time ago, one saved my life.
