When I heard that there was a new coffee place 5 minutes away from my house I had to go check it out and it did not disappoint! I now go to Tacitas pretty regularly and my go to drink is the iced Azteca, which is perfectly spiced and delicious every time. Some of my family's favorite drinks are the Amorcita (iced or hot) and the Sol de Chai. I also love trying their seasonal drinks when those rotate in and if you guys read this, please introduce a seasonal drink flight so I can try everything at once thx :) The shop itself is super cute and cozy and literally every single person on their staff is super friendly. They do a lot of cool community events which I think is amazing and I love their sustainability efforts too. Would absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and want to try something new! read more

We came here because it has a 4.9 rating with almost 300 reviews. That's a hard feat to achieve, as my fellow Yelpers will agree, so there must be something special going on. The shop is called Tacitas Coffee, so from the name and menu you can assume they're really focused on coffee rather than matcha, even though they offer it. I saw there was a blueberry option, but it was seasonal and no longer available. My choices were lavender, mango, vanilla, campfire, and plain. I chose lavender with vanilla (I like mine on the sweeter side). Before I go further, I need to add some clarity. When I walked in I wanted the blueberry, but they no longer had it. When they told me that, they didn't explain my options or walk me through the menu. I feel like places should ask "Have you been here before?" or "Are you familiar with our menu?" and then actually explain the highlights and help the customer. Anyway, back to the drink. Once my vanilla lavender matcha was made, it was set on the counter with no cold foam. That was a first. I wish they'd noted that they don't use cold foam. Every matcha I've had has had one, so I assumed this would be way off from my usual. I put my straw in, took a sip and was surprised by how it tasted. It could have been a little less sweet, but I did ask for it sweet. I will say that I don't believe that they specialize or focus in matcha's very much. My last critique is the price. My matcha was almost $10 for a 12 oz cup--nearly $1 per ounce. I did enjoy the feel of the store and how it's set up. It feels very inviting and relaxing. read more

The coffee here was actually great and the staff were super nice. I got some sort of fall flavored latte but definitely would come back. It's good to know a nice and chill place to get a coffee. Also it's in a great spot with lots of parking so definitely worth dropping by. Only bad thing is they close kind of early. Would recommend! read more

I recently discovered this small coffee shop off Diamond Bar Blvd after my work moved to Pomona. After missing my exit and devouring to rhe office I drove by this shop and decided to make a quick stop. Lo and behold I found that it is actually just right across from the freeway on ramp and just 1 exit from where I needed to be. The staff here is friendly abd the drink menu is small and unique. I have always ordered the iced Amorcita which is cinnamon, vanilla and orange peel and the drink really has great flavor. I have not tried any additional drinks as of yet but they have several unique options that really set them apart. The place is quite small but has a decent amount of seating inside and out and the prices are right in line with most shops in the area. Stopped here on my way to an estate sale -- its right off the freeway in Diamond Bar with its own shared parking lot. It was busy for a Saturday with several tables inside and on their outdoor patio. First timer! Unfortunately this review is long overdue. Ive seen this new business posted many times on my Facebook feed. From what I have read, it is a family/couple owned business not a franchise or chain. ANYWAYS, I like how they had a menu posted right outside before entering. This is helpful considering the size inside is a little smaller than anticipated. At this time, I noticed two (or four and they were just pushed together) tables in their outdoor seating area. The drink I ordered was the Amorcita without the orange peel. Don't ask me why I didn't get the orange peel it just didn't sound appealing to me. I also ordered a bolillo with jalapeño cream cheese. I wasn't really a fan of this only because it tasted exactly how it sounds. Bread and well...you get it. Coffee shops used to be harder to find, back when they weren't on every corner and you had to really search for a good one. I hadn't found a spot that gave me that same comforting feeling... until now. Tacitas Coffee is so peaceful and welcoming. The music was at just the right volume, and the space felt well cared for and calming. I think I ended up chatting with the owner, and it was so nice to have an actual conversation with someone while getting my coffee, that kind of connection is rare these days. I got the Dulce latte with oat milk, and my husband had the Americano, both were really good. We also grabbed the BEC croissant, which wasn't quite as fresh as I'd hoped, but honestly, everything else more than made up for it. I'll definitely be back! read more

Tacitas Coffee is a coffee shop on North Diamond Bar Blvd. They're located next to Kenya Hair Creations. They serve specialty coffee drinks, other coffee drinks, and some food items. A lot of lavender and matcha stuff going on. I ordered the Buzzn Brew which consists of black cold brew, vanilla syrup, honey, and cream top. This was excellent. Nice balance between the vanilla and cold brew. The cream top added a nice creamy flavor to the bold and strong cold brew. Strong coffee as my heart felt like it catapulted through the roof. Service was fantastic. I was greeted upon entry. Barista was warm and friendly. Was asked if i had any questions and how my day was. Drink was ready within a few minutes. It was nice and cool inside the establishment on a blazing hot day. It was empty at the time I went. There's some tables and a few couches. Cozy and homey vibe with the decor. Restroom was closed. It has been a while since a coffee shop truly wowed me, but Tacita Coffee did exactly that. It is an adorable "hole-in-the-wall" spot that manages to feel just like you're enjoying a cup of coffee in a cozy family home. The atmosphere is incredibly cute, but the service is what really set the tone. The gentlemen working were so kind and patient with us while we took our time reviewing the menu to decide what to order. I ended up getting the "Buzzin Brew," and it was easily the best honey-sweetened latte I've ever had. It had an incredible balance of sweetness and boldness without one overpowering the other. My family also tried the Casa Dolce and the Amorcita, which were great additions to the table. They also had a selection of yummy-looking pastries. Incredible, amazing, delicious! Wow such unique flavors and high quality, not overwhelmingly sugary- the coffee and other flavors really shine! We had the Amorcita and the azteca and then 2 croissant egg sandwiches. The amorcita had the most amazing hint of orange that I've never had before in a coffee. Came in here while I waited for my vet up the street to give me X-ray results. They know what they're doing here. Their most popular drink that comes with an orange skin peel was so delicious. I modified it to be less sweet and to have almond milk but the rest of the combination was delicious. They're very friendly and the place seems like a nice place to meet a friend or just get some work done. Local coffee shop so good I want to keep it to myself...but I won't because they deserve all the love! I know this place is special because I already started thinking about my second visit and telling all my friends and family about it. I ordered an iced Cupid's Favorite from their Valentine's seasonal menu and a turkey, pesto, and provolone sandwich. I love my hazelnut lattes and dark chocolate, so this was the perfect pairing for me. The drink wasn't overly sweet and I love how the hazelnut latte is made in house. The dark chocolate helped bring some subtle intense notes to pair with the lighter, sweeter taste of hazelnut. Ambiance was great; I love cafes that have soul and life, and this is one of them. Tacitas is definitely nice and cozy with its comfortable couch and handmade art decor. Last but not least, service was amazing! This spot was so cute - a new business and very welcoming. I'm really glad I got to stop by while I was in town. Quick parking note: the lot I first pulled into was full, so I parked behind some nearby businesses (not far at all). While waiting for my order, I realized there's another entrance with plenty of parking, so keep an eye out for that! The vibe and atmosphere are really cool with plenty of seating and perfect to just chill and enjoy your coffee. And if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for any coffee with orange... so the second I saw orange peel on the menu, I ran here! I ordered the Amorcita, which has vanilla, cinnamon, and orange peel. I got it iced with oat milk, and honestly... I wanted to go back for a second one but had to stop myself. I did forget to ask for half-sweet or 75% sweet, but it was still so good that I let myself enjoy the sweetness for the holidays. Price-wise, I'd say it's pretty average - honestly, anywhere you go now you should expect to pay over $7 for a coffee. The only thing I'd love is a large size option, because I definitely would've grabbed a bigger cup If I lived in town, I'd definitely be back ! next time I'd ask for it less sweet or add an extra shot, but no complaints here. Tacitas in a cute little casita is what I was so hoping for. Unfortunately from the beginning it didn't seem like a coffee score. Tacitas does mean little cups or tiny cups in Spanish. The first thing I asked before I ordered was if they do dine in service but they don't so there you go. The space is cute and they have a comfy couch in the corner. The vibe was chill when we went so that's safe to say. I ordered their recommended Azteca which is a spicy dark chocolate latte that was pretty decent with a little kick. Overall the service was good and they can do so much better. I felt the name was misleading and I don't drink Cortados or espresso shots from a paper cup, I just don't. That is just wrong in every way man. It's like inviting someone to your new place and then giving them paper plates to eat off of and a crate to sit on. The building of Tacitas Coffee has gone through a few previous businesses (breakfast joint, gastropub, etc.), and I hope that Tacitas will be here to stay. My friend had been raving about Tacitas and I asked him about the coffee post from his IG - that's how I knew that there was a new coffee shop in north Diamond Bar. I used to work nearby and if Tacitas was open then, I would be here more often. They have a seasonal menu, along with their regular menu, including their specialty drinks. Amorcita (hot) $6.50 Housemade vanilla, cinnamon, and orange peel (whole milk) Can be hot or iced I was greeted as I stepped up to the register, and ordering was a breeze. The employees were all very kind and friendly. Love supporting mom and pop shops, especially local coffee shops. Loved the music and the environment. The coffee was amazing, perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet or one ingredient empowering the other. I cannot wait to try other specialty or seasonal drinks on my next visit. I ordered the Azteca Coffee ($6.50 - iced). It's dark chocolate, house spice, & coffee. However, the immediate taste will be its spicy kick; it tickled the back of my throat with its "heat." This is a flavorful, functional drink. I felt awake after sipping. I arrived at Tacitas Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Tuesday (around 7:08AM). I quickly found parking. There were two small parking lots on either side. This small business opens at 6AM and closes at 4PM. Staff (Erik) is friendly, hard working, and helpful. Erik gave good recommendations; Erik charmed customers by initiating conversations with guests; and Erik worked nonstop in the background. My drink was completed in one minute and 53 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered the Azteca Coffee ($6.50 - iced). "TASTY!" The drink felt well-balanced and thoughtful. It's not bitter nor too sweet. It's not too milky nor watery. Rather, it's smooth, spiced coffee with the faint flavor of dark chocolate. The Azteca Coffee does have a "kick," so I'd avoid if you're very sensitive to spicy seasoning. Regardless, it's an enjoyable, energizing experience. Concerning ambiance, Tacitas Coffee (Diamond Bar) is clean, comfortable, & welcoming. This small business recently opened, so its furniture and decor is spotless and brand new. Hopefully this cleanliness is maintained as this business grows with age and popularity. Tacitas Coffee (Diamond Bar) has 4 accessible electric outlets for devices. There's also customer wifi; however, guests need to directly ask staff for details. The location's interior includes one long counter with four seats, five tables with chairs, and a couch. The exterior contains two mini tables with two extra tables on the side patio. This business is not very large, but it's tastefully decorated. In addition, there's a gender neutral restroom and a game corner/bookshelf. Some of the available games are Mini Jenga, Cards Against Humanity, and Desktop Bag Toss. I also enjoyed the location's fresh ventilation and smooth, upbeat music. As I rested, the scent of faint, fresh pastries wafted from behind the counter. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Tacitas Coffee (Diamond Bar). Despite its hidden location alongside the 57 Freeway, new customers regularly flowed in and out in short excited bursts. i've genuinely never written a review before, but after going here a few days ago, i felt like this place deserved the honor of being my first. the main reason is an employee who goes by the name hope! which is honestly fitting, because she made me HOPE i had never found this place in the first place. the customer service personality felt so fake and rehearsed that it was like watching someone audition for the role of "person who definitely enjoys helping customers" and not getting the part. every interaction felt coated in that overly sweet, pretend friendly attitude where the words are technically polite, but the energy is screaming that you're inconveniencing them by existing. i'd rather someone just be straightforward with me than serve attitude with a smile and pretend it counts as hospitality. i came in expecting normal customer service, not an immersive performance. if fake enthusiasm were an olympic sport, hope would at least make the qualifiers. i usually just leave a place and move on with my life, but this experience was irritating enough to make me open reviews for the first time. impressive, honestly. hope really did inspire something in me, unfortunately, it was the motivation to write this review. read more

Friendly staff. Menu is simple, there is variety of drinks without being overwhelming. Sweet coffees can be adjusted to be less sweet, always great when you want to try new things but don't want excess sugar. Amorcita and dulce de leche coffees were both delicious. Guava cream cheese pastry and the jalapeño cream cheese bolillo were both good. The bolillo was fresh and still warm. Parking was easy, there are lots on both sides, with doors to enter from each lot. Def recommend, would come back. read more

Tacitas Coffee is a very welcome addition to Diamond Bar's burgeoning coffee scene but I think what distinguishes it from the others is its emphasis on community and Mexican speciality drinks and pastries. And thank goodness because I used to love that space years ago when it was breakfast place and it's great that it's back in action! Since I'm a fan of Mexican mocha, I had the Azteca, which was a great soothing blend of dark chocolate and the house spice - it's honestly one of the better variations of that type of drink and it had enough of a kick to get my day started the right way. The latte art on it was also exquisite! We also shared a guava cheese pastry which honestly way better than the ones you can get at a place like Porto's. It was fresh and comfortingly warm. The two folks running the shop are also extremely nice and helpful with any questions they have. I definitely plan on spending way more time here the next time I'm back - not only does the shop have great seating and a comforting vibe, the bookshelf was loaded with a lot of my favorite reads! read more

I like that they have books and a lot of tables and chairs to sit at. I ordered a Sol de Chai to go. I took a sip once I got in to my car and it definitely did not taste like chai. It tasted like they only added tea with milk. Did not taste any honey or any spices whatsoever and it did not have the wonderful fragrant aroma of chai. I was actually wondering if I received the wrong drink, but didn't have time to go back. I even had other people try the drink and they also thought it did not taste like chai. Super excited the cafe opened at this location and at Diamond Bar. First visit was a coffee date with my hubby. We arrived being 3rd in line. Not more than five minutes passed and two more groups lined behind us. Glad to see the place was busy. Lady front of line ordered like 6 drinks to go. We did not mind the wait. We were in no rush. Hubby got drip coffee. I ordered the Amorcita. We both enjoyed our coffees very much. Also ordered two pastries, just for me. Mini concha was Devine, could have had a second one, easy. The second pastry was the guava cheese pastry and was so good. Seasonal Menu posted above the pastries. My daughter and her friend crashed our coffee date. They ordered from the specialty seasonal menu: she ordered the last leaf and her friend got the maple pumpkin pie. They enjoyed both coffees, and she's a matcha snob. Not sure on current hours of operation, I should have paid more attention. I hope at some point they'd expand food menu. Great first visit and hope this place continues to have local support. I wanted to love this place but it was nothing like the other reviews of friendly welcoming workers. My first visit. No greeting from 3 workers that were joking around with their "friends" that were visiting at 830am. I was trying to decide what to get although I've already read the reviews on what I was interested in. The girl just waited for me to say something instead of offering suggestions or reminding me to let her know when I was ready. Finally decided on a Saltara which was more like milk with coffee instead of coffee with milk. I really wanted oat milk but at $1 I refuse to pay that while other places only charge $.50 and it's more often now places don't charge extra for subs. The drink was amazing but if ordered again would ask for less milk or do an extra shot. My drink was also filled to the brim and actually spilled just while trying carry it out.
