We recently moved to the area and we're lucky to have such a good coffee spot. We typically order their iced latte and cold brew. Both have been great. They use high quality beans. I love their cold brew here. It has depth and doesn't have a generic profile. The service here is good too. The staff here are very attentive and helpful. As for the ambiance of the place, it's like a mini gallery with minimalist decor and huge signature art pieces. It's a good place to get coffee and work. Don't let the small entrance deceive you. It's very spacious. The pricing here is very reasonable. It's also easy to find parking out. It's everything you want from a coffee shop. Grid Coffee is wedged between two other buildings (peep my photo)! Located in Diamond Bar, Grid Coffee brings aesthetics, good intentions, and good vibes. I had stopped by because I wanted to get a croffle for myself. Of course, trying their coffee was also on my to do list. We stopped by on a Sunday morning, and quickly got to place our order. My fiancé ordered their tonic and of course, I ordered their Banana Cream Latte. I also scored their last plain croffle of the day and also got their everything seasoning croffle. It didn't take long for us to get our coffee or our pastry. Their plain croffle was good, but I wished we had the option to have it warmed up. Their everything seasoned croffle was decent if you want a savory pastry. My banana cream latte was strong, but wasn't strong in banana flavoring. I mixed my cream too towards the bottom, and still found barely taste it. The baristas here are also very aesthetic and silly. They had a great time making coffee and taking orders. Very Disappointed I used to really like this place. I loved the industrial-style atmosphere, and it always felt like a cool spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a freshly made specialty coffee. That's why I was honestly shocked by what I saw during my last visit. I came in one morning with a friend, and I watched the employee take pre-mixed coffee that had already been prepared and simply pour it into a cup with milk. There was no fresh grinding, no espresso being pulled, and no coffee being made to order in front of us. I paid nearly $7 for the drink, expecting a freshly prepared specialty coffee. Instead, the preparation looked more like a pre-made/instant coffee process. For a coffee shop charging specialty-coffee prices, this was extremely disappointing and felt very misleading. The atmosphere is nice, but for me, the quality and preparation of the coffee matter much more. After seeing this, I definitely won't be coming back. read more

I felt awake after sipping. It's TASTY, fresh coffee! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment.) I arrived at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Thursday (around 9:17AM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious and big. However, this business has awful visibility; it's very easy for new guests to overlook it. But like a strongly guarded secret, this business is POPULAR. Staff is efficient and amicable. Staff is polite and knowledgeable, but Staff is also curt and very focused on crafting their coffee. My coffee took four minutes and 26 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte ($7 - Large - Iced). When thoroughly stirred, the coffee's true flavor blossoms. The potency becomes balanced, and the taste of vanilla & roasted coffee lithely intertwine. The aftertaste is reminiscent of a smoky caramel. There's utility and personality in this freshly brewed coffee. It's easy to understand why this spot is so popular. On ambiance, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is a study/work paradise. Unlike the tiny outside, the interior is unexpectedly spacious. There's about six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are in small text on the counter's menu. The location also has about four tables, one long wooden table, and five mini portable tables. In addition, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is clean, well-maintained, and well-ventilated. There's a gender neutral restroom in the back, and the music is chill & calm. The location is filled with working college students whispering about Harvard and preparing for the future. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar). The coffee is affordable, good quality, and functional. The location is comfortable and calm. If searching for a wonderful study/work spot, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5! read more

I've had mixed feelings about this place. I used to think it was just okay, but last time I went I had a blueberry specialty coffee drink and actually really enjoyed it. On a cold, rainy day, I needed a caffeine fix near Mt. Sac and found Grid Coffee thanks to Yelp. The photos and menu sold me instantly! From the parking lot, I thought it was just a small spot with an order window, but inside it's surprisingly spacious with clean lines and a minimal, Japanese-inspired aesthetic; super inviting. I ordered my go-to hot vanilla latte and couldn't resist grabbing a brownie, too. The latte was excellent, not all lattes are created equal, and this one had strong, smoky espresso flavor without being overly sweet. It absolutely hit the spot. The brownie came as a neatly cut rectangle of chocolatey goodness, pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. The calm, welcoming vibe of the shop was made even better by the lo-fi soundtrack playing in the background, such a nice touch that really set the mood. My absolute favorite local cafe, and even more that, one of the best blueberry matcha lattes, with oat milk, I've ever had in the world. I'm always searching for something comparable but I've never found anything in the ballpark of this taste. They used to have chia seeds in their blueberry syrup too which I loved but it seems to be removed now based on my last three visits. There are still whole blueberries at the bottom. My mom's favorite is the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Anytime I'm in town, I will make it a point to come here and was recommended this spot and have been recommending it to others myself as well. The wooden benches are not the most comfortable for long-term seating. I get the vibe they're going for. It's hip and aesthetic with clean lines. The service was quick and friendly. I decided to get the berry and matcha scone along with a Mocha Caffe Latte. I enjoyed the scone which was moist and flavorful, and the mocha caffe latte was refreshing on a warm day. The chocolate did have an artificial taste to it though which I wasn't a huge fan of. Service was standard. Inside seating is available in a stadium type of setting, as well as on the floor which was interesting as I have never seen a coffee shop with that type of seating. This review is LONG OVERDUE! :) I've been coming here since December 2021 & it's hands down my favorite coffee shop in Diamond Bar. I'm a matcha person so I've only ever gotten their matcha, and if not just their strawberry hibiscus (no longer served), herbal tea, and strawberry milk. I love their selection of matcha: strawberry with chunks. One of the best I've had! Their blueberry matcha is pretty delicious also. The customer service is great. Everyone is kind and efficient. I'd say the baristas kind of keep to themselves though and aren't overly enthusiastic. But overall, still welcoming & nice! The atmosphere is simple with wood seating areas. I like it. However sitting for a long duration can be a little uncomfortable since there's not much back support, but luckily they have a basket with padded pillows to sit on. Recently they added tables along the corner nook area which is great! Aside from that they have little tray-like table tops to set your drinks on or laptops/books/etc; while working. There's also plenty of outlets which is a plus. Not to mention they always seem to have a good playlist goin' :) Oh! & they have outside seating as well underneath shaded umbrellas. My only complaint is it gets really hot in there during the hotter months. Especially since they're facing south and catch all the direct light early on in the day. Don't get me wrong, I love the natural lighting! It's just more prone to getting hotter & I'm not sure if they have A/C. I'm sure they probably do but it's never been exactly cold in there like most coffee shops, mainly room temperature. All in all Grid is a great spot! I highly recommend :) read more

The coffee here was pretty good and the aesthetic of it was pretty nice. Definitely instagramable. Service was just about average, definitely had a small wait for the coffee but it seemed like they were just being careful so mileage may vary. The seating though in my opinion was pretty subpar. Seating was either sit in the floor with a cushion or sit along the wall on these large steps basically. Not too comfortable. They did have normal seating with a normal table but space was all taken up due to how little room there is. I would say come here for the coffee or drinks but not stay. Grid coffee has unmatched aesthetics and drinks! I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed by the quality of the service and drinks here. They do a really good lavender (both matcha and coffee) and a crazy good double matcha (5/5 all!). You get a pretty decent sized drink for what you pay. The space itself is big, minimalistic and clean. I love the artwork hung inside! They also offer butt cushions for long periods of sitting.
