Cookie butter latte
Melody L.

First time I came here I thought the latte I got was just ok. Wanted to try a different flavor and saw they had a cookie butter latte. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted! The cookie butter foam was so good and matched perfectly with their coffee! This will be my new go to latte for a while!

Can a coffee place in Diamond Bar be this good? Yes, and that place is Grid Coffee. The store's simple layout shines brightly with the bold flavors it offers. I love their lavender latte, and many of these tasty pastries pair perfectly with a nice morning cup of Joe. Yes yes, I will be back for sure!

My absolute favorite local cafe, and even more that, one of the best blueberry matcha lattes, with oat milk, I've ever had in the world. I'm always searching for something comparable but I've never found anything in the ballpark of this taste. They used to have chia seeds in their blueberry syrup too which I loved but it seems to be removed now based on my last three visits. There are still whole blueberries at the bottom. My mom's favorite is the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Anytime I'm in town, I will make it a point to come here and was recommended this spot and have been recommending it to others myself as well. Although I personally haven't gotten the coffee here, I've heard only good things. There was always people here anytime I visit, a testament to it actually being good. I highly recommend coming to Grid Coffee!

A quaint little coffee shop that looks small from the outside but spacious inside. There is a couple of tables outdoor and ample indoor seats. The wooden benches are not the most comfortable for long-term seating. I get the vibe they're going for. It's hip and aesthetic with clean lines. The service was quick and friendly. The drinks were excellent. I had the Blue Lavender Matcha Latte and it was really good. It hit the spot. The Dalgona Caffe Latte was not only good but pleasing to the eyes as well. I also like the different flavored croffles. They are not hard or too flaky. They were delicious. I am glad it's local which makes it a place I can keep coming back to.

Pistachio latte that is WAY TOO SWEET

I've been coming to grid coffee ever since it opened and since my office is nearby. Typically if you get a plain latte, you're gonna get a decent cup of coffee. My issue with this location as of the last year is that their flavored drinks are way too sweet. I tried the cherry mocha a couple months ago, and it blew out my palette. Just yesterday, I decided to take a gamble and try their pistachio coffee. It was awful, it literally tasted like melted ice cream that was way too sweet. My biggest regret is not having tried it before I left the place. Nine dollars including tip down the drain because I threw it away as soon as I got home. The biggest problem with this particular location is their failure to balance their drinks. I prefer the Santa Ana location by a mile.

Hot Vanilla Latte to go with
Miori I.

On a cold, rainy day, I needed a caffeine fix near Mt. Sac and found Grid Coffee thanks to Yelp. The photos and menu sold me instantly! From the parking lot, I thought it was just a small spot with an order window, but inside it's surprisingly spacious with clean lines and a minimal, Japanese-inspired aesthetic; super inviting. I ordered my go-to hot vanilla latte and couldn't resist grabbing a brownie, too. The latte was excellent, not all lattes are created equal, and this one had strong, smoky espresso flavor without being overly sweet. It absolutely hit the spot. The brownie came as a neatly cut rectangle of chocolatey goodness, pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. The calm, welcoming vibe of the shop was made even better by the lo-fi soundtrack playing in the background, such a nice touch that really set the mood. All in all, Grid Coffee is a little gem for anyone in the area. Great drinks, tasty treats, and an atmosphere that just feels right. I'll definitely be back!

Dropped into Grid Coffee while I was in the neighborhood. It was a cold, rainy day but the parking lot had plenty of spaces and the line moved quickly. Ordered a hot vanilla latte and a brownie for the road. Both hit the spot. Service was quick and polite. The cafe itself is large, welcoming, and has a relaxed vibe. Definitely a great place to warm up, hang out, or get some work done.

Grid is such a cool spot. The ambiance is so relaxing and welcoming. The employees are all really nice. I appreciated the recommendations. My blue lavender latte was perfectly sweetened at half sweet with almond milk. The coffee was complex, smooth and deliciously strong.

Grid Coffee in Diamond Bar is my go to spot every week, sometimes multiple times a week. The coffee here is consistently good and it's one of those places where you don't even have to think about your order because you already know it's going to hit. The drinks are always well made, smooth, and balanced, whether you're grabbing something quick to go or hanging out for a bit. It's become part of my regular routine and that alone says a lot. Service can be a little on the slower side at times, especially when it gets busy, but it's never been a big deal for me because the quality of the coffee makes up for it. Overall, a super reliable neighborhood coffee spot that I keep coming back to week after week.

Quick and friendly service and I tried a decaf latte the tasted like full octane! Very toasty and rich. The chocolate croissant was fresh and flaky.

Einspanner Latte, Blue Lavender Matcha, Double Matcha
Lyane P.

We ordered the Einspanner Latte, the Double Matcha and the Blue Lavender Matcha Latte. All of the drinks were excellent, smooth and delicious. I highly recommend all the drinks! So hard to decide which one was my favorite. They were all yummy so I think it just depends on your mood! Service was friendly, excellent and quick! The vibe was clean and minimalist. Perfect for studying or meeting up with friends. The only negative is that they close rather early.

Coffee spot nice and spacious. Matcha was nice and sweet and delicious. Service was very helpful.

Ask the Community - Grid Coffee

Do they accept cash?

They do not

Is this a good place to study?

Depends, if you have many books and need space, they only have one long table that could be most comfortable for that. I've seen a few people study there the times I've come and they've utilized the table. They have two other seating arrangements… Read more

Hi, does this coffee place offers gift card?

Yes, they do sell gift cards.

Do they make their own coffee? If so, do they sell the beans at the store?

Do they have outdoor seating for people with dogs or are dogs allowed?

Yes they do! For both questions. I have brought my dog here several times.

Does the matcha powder used have sugar in it?

Yes, it does! They said it is pre-sweetened. I always order a strawberry matcha latte and you can choose to have less strawberry or matcha to make it less sweet.

What is the einspanner?

Viennese coffee with a lot of whipped cream on top. Typically drunk through the cream, without mixing.

For the pastries, it looked like a lot of the ones I was hoping from browsing online were not available. I ended up getting the biscoff cheesecake. It was on the sweeter side but it was very good. For the drink, I ended up getting the banana latte. Been on a streak of getting that lately so wanted to compare with other stores. I didn't get a lot of banana in the taste. At least it had an espresso shot for the caffeine fix and did not taste like the artificial banana. Nothing special there and stand out. For the interior, they had a few seating they primarily accommodated a few groups of four and two. I was able to grab a bench seat that had an outlet. However, there wasn't enough space for my laptop and the items I ordered. WiFi was available but it had a 90 minute limit. The store had a moderate noise level and stayed busy throughout the time that I was there. The service on the order was quick and they do bring it out to you. The store also has their own house espresso which was a medium dark roast. American Express is accepted as a payment option here. Overall, it was a decent work spot. If I come back, I'd prefer to try another drink and hope other pastries are available. Would recommend the biscoff cheesecake for those that want something sweet and the house coffee beans for those that like medium roasts.

It's different from your typical bagel shop, with a subtle Korean twist that makes everything feel unique. Even their plain bagel is incredible, with the perfect crisp on top. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Sometimes they even give out free pastries if you come at the right time, and they are always happy to help. Their coffee is also really solid, especially the brown sugar coffee. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. It has easily become my go to local bagel spot.

There were plenty of parking as it's in a shared plaza. For the store, it's a moderate size but it was definitely busy at the time we went. For ordering, you'll need to order at the counter before sitting down. After browsing the menu, we decided on the pink vodka pasta and the rich miso pasta (Taiwanese sausage added). American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.
