I was on a little staycation in the City of Industry and decided to check out Costee Coffee Puente hills after seeing their amazing drink flavors and food options. I'm so glad I did! There was plenty of parking, making it easy to get in and out. The café was spotless, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. On top of that, the customer service was excellent everyone was friendly and attentive. The drinks exceeded my expectations, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of everything they serve. I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves more recognition. If you're looking for a great coffee spot with delicious food, give Costee Coffee a try you won't be disappointed. I've been wanting to try Costee Coffee after seeing that Durian Latte because I always like trying new and interesting things. Anways, as soon as I entered, I was not greeted and even better, there was no menu to be found. There were 3 TVs inside that were all turned off on a Tuesday afternoon. There was 1 person studying inside at the time while the lady working the front was fulfilling online/phone orders. As I stood at the front, the lady pointed at the kiosk telling me to order there. I was looking for the Durian Latte but could not find it anywhere. I ended up ordering an Iced Americano and an Iced Toffee Hazelnut Latte, half sweet. I had entered my phone number before ordering and when it was time to check out, there was a $1 cash discount so with that, I thought I would have to pay with cash. I asked the lady if they accept the cash but the lady just pointed at the kiosk once again. The latte was very milky and sweet. The Americano was not good at all. We were in the area getting food and I noticed this coffee shop and I had to go in to grab something. The vibe in there is very cute. Love the decor. The young lady was very friendly very helpful since it was my first time everything sounded really good, but I went ahead and ordered something that sounded very unique to me. Waited a few moments looked around, went ahead and placed my order. There was a few people in front of me and I waited maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Received my order and it looked beautiful. I've been to this coffee shop even before it was Costee Coffee, so we've been curious to try it. It will have to admit the flavors were intriguing and numerous, but the coffee itself wasn't sufficient. We tried the osmanthus rice wine americano and the tie guan yin coco latte. Both were milky and sweet with barely any taste of coffee. Pretty disappointing and maybe I prefer a stronger coffee so the drinks from this shop weren't my cup of tea. This coffee didn't taste like mango, but the coconut and coffee roast shined brightly. It's a refreshing, sweet coffee that flowed smoothly. Regarding ambiance, Costee Coffee (Rowland Heights) is uncomfortable. The location is cramped and humid. Everything smelt musty, and I had to repeatedly wave away a buzzing fly. The location is tiny; it has four tables. However, the decor resembled a grandparent's aging living room. No music plays, so it's eerily quiet. Fortunately, there's utility. The location has customer internet with password; the details are on the left stand. There's also a gender neutral restroom for customers. However, the electric outlets are not convenient nor near any tables; rather, its two outlets are far away near the straws. Overall, Costee Coffee (Rowland Heights) is not bad. Currently, it's just a Cotti Coffee with a slightly different name and a musty, old interior. If curious, go with low expectations. 4.3 out of 5 read more

came here at 8:50am hoping for a quick morning coffee and didn't get my drink until almost 9:30. the place is severely understaffed and basically running as a one woman show. before even acknowledging orders, she spent the first 10 minutes filling up the ice machine while tickets that had already been paid for just sat there printed. the ordering system is awkward too. there's no real menu available besides one giant ipad, so if one customer takes forever deciding, nobody else can even place an order. there's almost zero interaction or flow. morning coffee culture is supposed to be efficient and quick. coffee itself was okay, and i do appreciate that oat milk didn't cost extra, but the sandwiches and food were pretty mid. overall the experience was frustrating enough that i won't be coming back. read more

My husband and I have been visiting Costee Coffee for the past few months and we absolutely love their drinks. Some of our current favorites are the Pampas Blue Coco Latte, Sea Salt Caramel Oat Latte, Orange Sparkling Cold Brew, and Grape Jasmine Tea. I usually gravitate towards lattes (especially anything with coconut) but I'm so glad I tried their fruity coffee options because they are just as satisfying and refreshing as well. It seems they have recently gone through a rebrand, as the name has changed. However, the drink menu remains the same and they have expanded their food menu. Drinks: The Matcha Mousse Latte was really good. It's a matcha latte with coffee foam essentially. I prefer mixing the drink although the way it's intended to be consumed is sipping it unmixed without a straw. With the foam and half sweet, it's perfect for me personally. If you are very sensitive to sugar then I would go less. The Oolong Yuen Yueng Latte is very aromatic, although full sugar was probably less sweet than the matcha latte. It definitely has a stronger bitter flavor if that's what you prefer. Food: Personally, the rice cakes for me are a miss. My wife enjoyed it more than I did with her drink (the Oolong) but it's definitely missing filling for me. If you like a chewy mochi-textured rice cake, this is for you. The spicy chicken Ciabatta I'm on the fence about. The entire sandwich itself was cold. The Ciabatta was untoasted so it was hard to bite into and chew. The spicy chicken was very flavorful and probably around medium spice but also cold (although the cold chicken is not a problem for me personally). If the bread was toasted it would be much better. Interior: It's quite small in here, but it's quiet. Not a lot of space for seating but if you are lucky enough to grab a spot, it would suffice for some focus time. This place has good coffee and lot of other choices if you are not coffee drinker and they also offer food and snacks all those I tried so far are pretty good like the egg tarts and rice cakes.
