7/24/2026 4 1/2 Stars First time here. Came here early afternoon. It was not busy with no lines, but the cafe's seats were nearly filled. FLAT WHITE It wasn't bad. Slightly sour, but fruity coffee. Overall, I enjoyed it. Good mouthfeel too. Good temperature, it wasn't too hot nor luke warm. MANGO MATCHA At first taste, it tasted more like guava. But it was indeed mango. But a fake mango flavor. The mango flavor was there, but could not taste the matcha. It wasn't bad, but I had better mango matchas elsewhere. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was okay. Not bad, but not great. Staff could smile more than just stare at you. Even say "Hello" or "Welcome" when you walk in the coffee shop. LOCATION Located in a small strip mall at Golden Springs Plaza. Parking is medium-sized for the amount of businesses here. I had no issues finding parking in front of the coffee shop, although more and more parking spots were being taken. AMBIANCE + SEATS The ambiance was relaxing. No loud music. Lots of people coming in and working on their laptops. Five small tables for two in the center. Along the wall there were bar seats for 19-20 people. There's a long communal table in the center for seats for 4-5 people. At the front and to the side, there were 3 tables for two. Outdoor tables for two right outside the cafe. Bathroom is outside of the cafe and you have to enter the other part of the building with a bathroom code to unlock. Will I visit again? Maybe if I'm in the area. But I'm in no rush to come back.
Bright, spacious interior with plenty of natural light and ample seating. The outdoor seating by the entrance is limited to a small, somewhat cramped corner. The Banana Matcha had a good balance of flavors, while the Outpost Latte was fairly average. I came during a slower hour so parking wasn't an issue, but the plaza has enough restaurants to draw a crowd and it can get packed during busier times.
Outpost Coffee is Diamond Bar's local coffee shop with delicious matcha and coffee. Ordering online is a breeze and my drinks are always made on time. The strawberry matcha has just the right amount of strawberry that you could taste but not overpower the matcha. Their spanish latte was smooth and tasted great. Can't wait to try more drinks.

Such a cute local coffee spot! I ordered their pistachio outpost and it was so good. I was afraid it would be overwhelming sweet so I got it with 1 pump of flavor instead of 3 and it was perfect. The bits of pistachio on top made it even better! Also ordered their dirty Thai and my bf really liked that one too. For food we had the avo bagel on the jalapeño cheese bagel and the turkey sandwich. Both were delicious! Will be back :)
Stopped by this morning to try a new coffee shop and the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were delightful. The coffee my wife had, she loved it and the refresher I had was tasty! Definitely can't wait for them to open up the new location near us!

They have some tasty looking pastries that unfortunately I didn't get to try. I got the earl grey latte. The drinks was smaller than expected, especially for the price. I did get the earl grey flavor occasionally. There were hints of the lavender. It was enjoy enough and not too sweet. And it wasn't too hot so you can drink right away. I'd like to try more of the drinks.
I came around 1pm on Saturday and immediately noticed how busy it was. Ordered:4/5 Banana matcha: the banana cream top works great with the matcha, however it did seem to be slightly overpowering. The matcha flavor was light but I would be curious to see how the other drinks taste! Vibe: This place is pretty packed with both people chatting and studying. It can be pretty loud, but with headphones, this is a good place to work. Theres plenty of tables but very limited on outlets. Parking: there's a parking lot shared in the plaza. However it can be pretty hard to find. Overall: this place isn't bad and I'm glad I gave it a try. It would be great for a quick catch up with friends.
I had an adequate experience at Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar). I ordered the Ube-Ube Coffee ($7). It's two shots of espresso with sweet ube. The initial sip is refreshing, but the coffee flavor quickly fades. As time passes, the drink tastes like sugary cereal milk. I arrived at Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Friday (around 11:48AM). The parking lot is big but busy. Fortunately, I quickly found a spot. The sign says, "2 Hour Parking Only - All Day." Staff is polite. Staff quickly took my order and answered my questions. My coffee took three minutes and 25 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Ube-Ube Coffee ($7). The caffeine is soft but uplifting. The drink is not bitter nor runny. However, the flavor of sugar and milk dominates the cup. It's not a memorable drink, but it's not bad. On ambiance, Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) felt a little worn down and old. The crevices were dusty and the location felt a little messy. There's about three electrical outlet. The location also has customer internet with password; details are posted on the counter. Fortunately, Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) has many clean tables. There's about six small interior tables, one long curved counter, and one very long table. The ceiling is tall, so the location didn't feel cramped. Overall, Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) is not bad. It feels shabbily maintained, but there's utility. If already nearby, I lightly recommend 4.2 out of 5
Stopped by on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy, but the employees are very quick and attentive. I ordered 3 outpost latte and they were delicious. I got it half sweet with almond milk and it was a good balance of sweetness. The espresso was bold and smooth. There is plenty of seating and overall pretty chill vibes.
Everything was sooo great! The employees were inviting and the place was super cute & just a great vibe! The mocha was delicious! We also were swooning over the jalapeño cheddar bagel. It was so good that we got a to go order before leaving of more food, coffee, AND matcha Just really enjoyed the overall service, thank goodness for good baristas 11/10 recommend this place!!
I believe this was the only place that truly offered a spring menu where you could actually taste the ingredients. I ordered the pistachio outpost, and it was absolutely delightful. It was so refreshing to enjoy the nuttiness of the pistachio. Service was good. I loved the large windows that let in all that natural light.
Love this place! The signature Outpost Latte is always my favorite. Great coffee and a cozy atmosphere.

Visited this place for the first time recently and I'll definitely be back (: tried the strawberry matcha (it's a bit more on the green tea matcha side, not super sweet) and a regular croffle (I could eat a million of these- soooo good!) Been wanting to try this local coffee shop for a while and visited on a weekend. It wasn't as busy but the shop was definitely filled with people staying to enjoy their coffee. It was nice with plenty of seats still available. There were two entrances and was easy to find. The baristas were friendly as my fiancé ordered for us. I got their yuzu espresso tonic coffee. I am always looking for the sweetness as espresso and tonic are definitely a bitter combination and I think it was on the sweet side, but it was a good sweet. It seemed house made. We also got the croffle and it was delicious. Definitely would come again to try out their other drinks. read more
It was my first time visiting Outpost Coffee! We made the trip here before driving down towards Orange County. Parking for this place is tight, especially when very trafficked. Be careful backing in and out if you drive a larger car! There are two entry points towards the store, but if you enter on the left side, you'd be able to access the cashier. The interior of the shop is quite clean and well furnished! There were many people sitting and enjoying their time there. We were serviced by a very sweet, patient, and kind barista. They took our order: banana caramel latte, a yuzu tonic, and a warmed up plain croffle. We took a seat to wait for our items, which didn't take too long. Their banana caramel latte was okay; I probably wouldn't get it again. There was a lot of milk in mind and a fading coffee taste. The drink tasted similar to artificial banana and I didn't like that. The yuzu tonic was heavy in yuzu and not much coffee. The highlight would definitely be the delicious croffle! It was warmed up, flaky, and quite chewy. We regret not ordering two! The Outpost Coffee had fantastic service, ambiance, and croffles. Sadly, we didn't like their drinks, but wouldn't mind coming back to try something else! **MENU ATTACHED AS OF 03/14/26** Highlights: matcha was great and the indoor seating area has a lot of room! Great place for studying and catching up. There are some outlets available. Unfortunately the croissant I got was dry. Maybe we came on an off day? Just knocked off one star but hopefully I can try again next time I visit! I'd ideally like spots like these to have great baked goods as a little study snack. Parking is a little full but not impossible. Service was great! Baristas in front were very friendly and answered questions especially about the spring menu. Overall, I'd like to visit again especially for redemption for the baked goods. read more

This replaced what previously was Mugs Coffee, and I liked how they redid the seating so it's more open spaced with plenty of bar seating for working. I just wish they had more outlets available and less stools. It was not too busy when I arrived at 2pm on a weekday, and it wasn't too loud which I appreciated for studying. I tried out their signature latte which came with a cream top, it was like a standard Einspanner drink. I'd come back here again if I was in the area read more

Such a beautiful space with lots of natural lighting. It seems perfect for a nice catch-up over coffee or work session. For studying, although there are a bunch of seats, there's only three charging ports, so beware! Everyone who helped us was very kind and knowledgeable. We went in the early morning, and we were asking a bunch of questions They met us with kindness and they seemed to want us to have exactly what we wanted. For the star of da show: grapefruit tonic! This drink is incredibly nostalgic for me, as I used to have it all the time in Asia when I was in high school. I have not found a replica until now! The espresso pairs perfectly with the tonic and grapefruit. I love love love that a hint of the grapefruit's bitterness is preserved, and it is just such a well rounded drink. We also got a banana caramel latte, which isn't up my alley but perfect for my bf. He said he was flabbergasted that he could distinctly taste both banana, caramel, and coffee in each sip. I cannot wait to come back and try their other drinks, but I have a new favorite spot. read more

I came here to try their coffee and it was pretty good. I ordered a hot mocha and taste was just perfect to me, better than Starbucks in my opinion. This cafe is a nice place for people to chat with friends or doing their self study. This seems like a popular place for young adults. Overall my experience was okay, would be back again. read more
One of the reliable coffee shops in DB. I used to come here when it was still Mugs so i was surprised it changed to Outpost! However they did not disappoint. Food: 4/5 I ordered their iced matcha latte with signature foam top. The drink came out to around $7.50 or so. Pretty standard pricing for matcha and it tastes pretty good. Although i had only ordered the plain signature foam top i could taste a hint of banana flavor so im guessing the foam pitcher they used wasn't rinsed properly...? I also ordered a hot mocha latte with oat milk. Probably one of my favorite mocha lattes although the size of the drink is a bit disappointing considering the price. Service: 5/5 Service was great no complaints whatsoever. All staff were very kind. Ambiance:4/5 Great study spot with lots of natural lighting. There are plenty of seats but it gets filled often. I found Outpost Coffee and nice corner spot located in a "circular" plaza that's just hard to many stores if you're new to the area. The coffee shop is designed like an open-concept with bright lighting, and area is more communal than a place to relax or chill. I tried the Ube Latte (had the purple color but very vanilla), which wasn't that great, so I probably should've gone with their specialty drink instead - Outpost Latte. They gave me a sample of the Outpost Latte, and it was much better. The strawberry matcha was okay...sweeter than I would had liked. Overall, friendly staff and may need to stop by again to try other drinks. read more

Outpost coffee was a very nice place to have a meeting or study. There are big windows with lots of natural light. The coffee is really good and they have a variety to choose from. They also have pastries in the morning time. read more
I never knew this coffee place was here. It's tucked away in Diamond Bar in a professional building. It's a good sized coffee spot. Plenty of seating and a clean esthetic. I would definitely come here to study or get some work done. Parking is plentiful. They have a good selection of drinks. I went with the Outpost Latte. It is a chicory infused cold brew with a cream. Loved it. Service was great. Staff was friendly and greeted me as I can in. I also got a bagel and cream cheese and it came out perfectly warm and the cream cheese generously spread across it. read more
overall: If the wifi was better, I'd come back again to study. Earl Grey Latte (3.7/5): this was one of their spring specials. I really couldn't taste the earl grey, instead I mainly tasted honey instead. It was also on the sweeter end. Ube-Ube Latte (4/5): The ube was pretty good and paired well with the coffee but the ube tasted a little artificial. seating: good amount of seating available with both window bar seating and tables. good for getting work done. wifi: they do offer free wifi but it was very slow which made it hard to get work done. parking: plenty of parking in the plaza. bathroom: bathroom needs a code that u can get from the cashier but was clean and is in the main building. read more

It was raining a lot recently so I was looking for a cafe to take shelter and get some work done. I stopped by Outpost Coffee on a Saturday at around 12:30 PM. It was really busy at the time with most of the parking spots being taken. After a brief wait to order, I was able to grab a seat at the window. This was a great seat to sit back, get some work done, and watch the rain with the natural lighting coming in as well. There was no outlet near my seat, otherwise it would have been perfect spot. For my order I got the pour over coffee. I really wanted to get a matcha croffle but they ran out at the time. Decided to grab the regular croffle instead. Since it was busy at the time, I was having a hard time hearing the staff call out my name for the order. Since it was a pour over, it took about 15 minutes for it to be ready. The croffle was not too sweet so it went well with the coffee; I do wish it could have been warm instead of cold. This store does have free WiFi. The passcode was available right at the front counter. American Express is accepted as payment here. read more
I've never been a regular anywhere but I've been coming here once a week. So, maybe not a regular but pretty consistent for someone who usually never visits the same cafe again. I tried the seasonal pumpkin spice drink a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't my favorite but I'm glad I tried it. It's one of the three seasonal drinks right now and while it had a good pumpkin flavor, it was too spice-forward. I think it's worth a try though, if you don't mind it having a strong nutmeg profile. However, last week I came back to try a few new drinks in addition to my favorite (the outpost latte). I was shocked by how good the Spanish latte was. The espresso was strong, but it was complemented well by the condensed milk and had a very smooth taste. It was also rich and creamy in the best way without being too sweet. I tried some of the blueberry matcha, but it wasn't my favorite for personal reasons since I usually prefer plain matcha lattes. I think they did a good job of making it with the right ratio, though, because I could taste the blueberry without it overpowering the matcha. I also think they whisk it by hand, so maybe it's worth a shot to try it again but with a cream top. read more
This new coffee shop replaced what used to be The Mugs. Honestly, I like the vibes a lot better. The interior is clean and simple. The service was quick and helpful. The cashier recommended the outpost latte amongst a couple other drinks. The drink itself is pretty good, not sure what it's made of but it tasted nutty. Great place to study/chill with friends. Didn't get any food but they also got food options in case you get hungry or smth. read more

A cute coffee shop in diamond bar - has a lot of unique coffee I truly enjoyed their outpost latte which has sweet cream on the top with not-so sweet coffee on the bottom which makes a really good balance My husband tried thai iced tea latte and he really liked it as well as cappuccino. I also bought their beans for espresso - not my favorite as it has a lot of citrus flavor. It is inside a plaza with enough parking and open for long hours. There are a lot of seatings inside as well read more

Pretty small coffee spot that is located in a pretty big plaza They're open daily 7am-9pm Parking was ok since there was plenty of parking but it could be difficult since it's shared with many other businesses Menu had a good variety of coffee and matcha drinks, as well as croffles, sandwiches, and bagels. Prices were reasonable and most drinks were $6-$7+ They have milk substitutions for an extra $1 and additional syrup for +$0.50 Inside was pretty small but it has plenty of seating. However, I wish it had more power outlets! It was nice there was free WiFi! The Outpost Latte ($6.75) was pretty good and sweet. The coffee was quite strong and creamy. It was a little too sweet even though I asked for half sweet and less ice. This was 7/10 Overall, this was an okay study spot and the coffee was not bad read more

When mean my friends entered, we were greeted with a frown from an asian dude at the counter, which was weird, but we didn't really mind. Most stores order the Ube Latte, and I had recommended it to them because in my past experience, the Ube Latte are usually really good, but specifically this one you can't really taste Ube like at all, which I was really shocked by because I wanted my friends experience Ube for the first time, the only Ube thing about the Ube drink is that it's purple like Ube. It literally tasted like a normal latte with no Ube in it. I honestly would ask for my refund and just order a normal latte. The interior is spacious and big, but kind of dirty, but the parking outside is pretty decent. The restroom for this location is shared with the entire building, so you're gonna have to ask for directions. read more
Good coffee! Very cute cozy shop! Staff really nice! We got the honey oat and it was really really light and good!! Loved that coffee definitely memorable. We also got a tea and that was mid. But I'd be back here when in the área! read more
