I've lived in New York for four years, so I feel qualified to say this bagel spot is genuinely amazing. It's different from your typical bagel shop, with a subtle Korean twist that makes everything feel unique. Even their plain bagel is incredible, with the perfect crisp on top. I always order the lox, and their cream cheese is hands down some of the best I've had. For sweet options, the blueberry wine and cinnamon walnut bagels are so good. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Sometimes they even give out free pastries if you come at the right time, and they are always happy to help. Their coffee is also really solid, especially the brown sugar coffee. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. It has easily become my go to local bagel spot. read more

Love this little bagel shop! I have been coming here for years now & they always are always delicious! The staff is nice! They now have an order on screen menu/ option but still can order the old school way too I always get the avocado bagel it's my go to fave thing! I will say I liked it more when they paired it with a side salad they had this yummy vinaigrette sauce along with it, now they just give a scoop of potato salad which wouldn't be my first choice lol so I usually leave that behind. Had their Lox Bagel Sandwich and it was filled with tomatoes, really taking away from the flavor of the salmon. I didn't think that the sandwich was really worth nearly $20. Barely any salmon, and no cucumbers or sprouts. Service was also pretty dreadful because the employees didn't even seem like they wanted to be there. Had to try this place since I wanted bagels for morning breakfast. They make a freshly cream cheese and bagels. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. The interior is cozy and the aroma smells good. We ordered a pineapple smoothie and it didn't taste right so I asked if I can replace it with another drink instead. He automatically offered if I wanted another one with different flavor and I said "yes" he suggested a pineapple mango and I just told him how about mango instead no pineapple. Checked out bageloo with a friend. It was a nice small cafe, perfect for a casual bite. The interior has a cozy, slightly dim vibe and serves bagel sandwiches, coffee, & more drinks. I tried the Turkey Club on an everything bagel (added avocado). The ingredients tasted super fresh, but the bagel itself was a bit on the dry side, wished it had a softer and fluffier texture. For my drink, I got the Honey Lavender Coffee, and surprisingly, it was quite good. It had a nice hint of honey, a touch of lavender. We've passed by this place for years & have always said we'd stop by but the timing has never been right until last weekend. We stopped by around noon & it was a little busy. About 3 tables inside were taken up. Majority of the bagels were gone because they close at 2 which was a given. We ended up getting a everything bagel w/scallion cream cheese, a plain bagel w/jalapeno cream cheese, a chocolate chip cookie & the matilda cake - about $30. The girl working the front was not very friendly and for some reason, it took them 15 minutes to make our 2 bagels. She took my order and started doing other things and talking to her coworkers before I saw her put our bagels into the toaster, then slowly grab the spreads and put them on. Wild. Would I be back? Was on a bagel craze recently and tried out a bunch of bagels in the area. We've come here a number of times so far and it's been pretty consistent. The bagels here are surprisingly average. They don't seem "artisan" style where the toppings are found throughout the bagel but rather just sparingly on the top of the bagel. So when I order a jalepeno cheese bagel, it seems like a plain bagel with one or two jalapeños on top and some cheese and maybe a few bits in the dough. I usually get the chicken deluxe which is pretty good and I love the Korean style potato salad. It also takes a long time for the food to come out so don't come if you're in a hurry order ahead of time. Overall not bad but for the price and the options of better bagels nearby, I think this place is a solid local establishment but not my go to place. read more

This was my first time trying Bageloo. I was walking my dogs and stopped in to order a breakfast sandwich. They allowed me to bring dogs in to order. There is a big menu kiosk that you place your own order. Not sure if i like the impersonal order process. The coffee and sandwich selection choices are abundant, and i went with a iced latte and a pastrami bagel sandwich. The pastrami was so good! Tender and juicy. Now this sandwich does come with a hint of ketchup on the bread. So if you don't like the ketup flavor then I highly recommend not adding it on your sandwich. I visited this bagel shop last Sunday, June 1st around noon and, unfortunately, had a very unpleasant experience that left a bad taste in my mouth due to the customer service. Upon walking in, I had my dog with me. He's extremely well-behaved, wasn't barking or causing any disruption, and in fact, several customers were happy to say hello and even pet him. The woman working at the front was kind and welcoming, greeting us warmly -- which I appreciated. However, the interaction with another employee -- the short gentleman with curly hair and tattoos all over his arms -- was the exact opposite. While I was simply standing near the entrance looking at the menu, he abruptly and rudely said, "Your dog can't be in here." I explained that I just wanted to check out the menu and would then wait outside. It was clear I wasn't planning to hang out inside with my dog, but he approached the situation with unnecessary attitude as if I was trying to stay inside all day. Later, when my order was being handed off, the same individual continued with the same dismissive tone. I had to clarify with him that we told the woman at the front this was a to-go order. I'm not sure what his issue was, but it's clear he lacks basic customer service skills and should not be the face of any business that values hospitality. I don't think I saw the guy smile once. To top it off, it took 25-30 minutes just to prepare two bagels, all which we asked for toasted and did not come that way-- All was pretty outrageous considering there wasn't other customers waiting around. Because of this experience, I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn't recommend this place to others. I'd hope the management takes a serious look at how some of their staff are treating paying customers. read more
