Needed a place to get some work day and Outpost Coffee really came in clutch. There were plenty of parking available in a plaza which is shared with other businesses. I went on a weekday before noon and had no issues with finding a spot. For ordering, they had a kiosk inside with pictures for reference as well. It does accept American Express. After ordering, it only took a few minutes before it was ready. As for the atmosphere, there were a few other people, but they were mindful of noise. The music was also moderate, so I was able to focus without any earphones. There was plenty of seating from the center table to seating at the wall and even window seats. There were outlets available near seatings at the wall. There was also free WiFi as well. At first it indicated you would only have WiFi access for 1 hour. However, after the hour, I reconnected and it refreshed the timer. For my coffee, I decided to get an iced Dalgona latte. They provided many pieces of Dalgona. I did ask to get this at regular sweetness and ice. Overall, after the Dalgona dissolved with the ice, it felt like a good amount of sweetness. Apparently all locations of the Mugs have been bought out and rebranded. The location in DB is now rebranded as Outpost Coffee. It appears that they are still in their transition phase as there are still signs of "the Mugs" throughout, including the same menu and company info poster. I got the Banana Caramel latte and it is so good! Slight sweet banana flavor but doesn't overpower the espresso so it still tastes like a coffee drink. Plenty of seating for working and just hanging out. Parking is plentiful, staff is nice, just wish the noise of the refrigerator case wasn't so loud so I could enjoy the background music. read more

Baristas don't really acknowledge you when you are at the counter to order for several minutes. I should've done an online order because it would've been faster than just standing there. Some bench seating and a good amount of tables, if you do get here early to beat the crowds. I tried to give them another chance but I think the quality does not really justify the price. But then again, this is Diamond Bar- not LA or OC; not a lot of great coffee shops in the area in general. Starting at $8 they have the best croffles I have had so far in the 626. First of all the price beats the cafes in Koreatown and they are consistent with the quality of the croffle. Visited here to do some homework and really enjoyed the ambiance as everyone there seemed to be working on something. It was super packed so I ended up finding a seat by this large window. The ambiance is nice with lots of natural light and there are plenty of plugs underneath the main center table if you need to charge your devices. There are a few corner tables for plug access, but you're better off at the main table if seats are available. I like getting their Dalgona coffee, which is made and served in-house only. Another favorite of mine is their Everything Croffle, which is basically a croffle with sweet cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning on it. I like the combo of salty and sweet that it provides. I'm glad that they have the option to adjust ice and sugar levels and make adjustments for the type of milk used. They said normal sugar is no sugar which I thought was interesting. The order took about 8 minutes. I ordered on their self-ordering screen. There were a lot of people around 1pm on a Saturday. It's very big and spacious inside, lots of seating and great for studying. I'm not in the Diamond Bar area very often but I may have to come around more often to stop by The Mugs for their honey lavender latte. Man, that latte was soooo good! And I find that lavender lattes tend to be a hit or miss - this was a hit. Great flavor, not too sweet either! They also give you milk options which I really liked. I tried their strawberry croffle too! I love that the whipped cream was a strawberry cream. That little detail made the world of a difference. It looks like a very chill place to get some work done and/or study + the staff is super nice. I also noticed the shelf they had in the corner with little stickers, pins and keychains for sale. Today I came across The Mugs coffee shop, which is located in a small plaza off of Sunset. They have an extensive menu with a lot of choices for coffees and teas. But since I am such a strawberry latte aficionado, I decided to try their iced strawberries and cream latte. it was pretty good and the standard drink comes with two shots which I didn't think were very strong so maybe I would add a third shot next time but it's also Monday morning and I need a lot of caffeine! Tons of parking outside and inside it's very spacious with lots of places to sit and study if that's your thing. The parking lot has a two hour parking limit, which is perfect. There's also restrooms located inside the building, and the barista is very friendly when I placed my order. Orders are placed on a kiosk online and then they will call or text you when your order is ready for pick up. Overall, as far as strawberry lattes go, I would write this a three out of five and if I'm ever in the area, I would come back to try the lavender lattes. read more

I recently stopped by to try this location. I had previously gone to one in the Tustin area and had a good experience. This location is so spacious. I came in early within the first hour of opening on a Saturday. I asked the barista what her favorite warm drink was, and she recommended the Spanish latte. She said it was sweet but that she could adjust the sweetness for me. The drink came out perfect. I loved the ceramic mug that the drink was served in. It was a pretty cold morning, so the cup helped keep me warm. It was perfect. I also got a breakfast sandwich to eat and a chocolate and a blueberry croissant to take to my friends. The breakfast sandwich was good. It was light and fluffy. My friends enjoyed the croissants, particularly the chocolate croissant. They also sell pins, keychains, and other items to the right side of the store. A group of friends decided to drink tea and coffee after a short and fun pickleball morning. So I ordered the Sakura latte with cream. Barista is friendly, you can order at register or thru the kiosk by the door. The latte is lacking flavor but presentation is top notch. And I came back next day to try the Ice Banana caramel latte. This time coffee flavor is overwhelmed by banana and caramel. The small tables are more suitable for 2 than 4. Jeff found "The Mugs," and we agreed to try it. The free shared parking was almost full because inside, every seat was taken by young people (probably students) on laptops. It felt like a library because everyone was quiet, focused, studying, and/or reading intently. It took a few minutes to order since the barista was very busy. The cashier politely told us that she'd be right with us. I looked at the Seasonal Menu and chose the Pumpkin Spice Latte. The cashier asked if I wanted it iced or hot. I wanted Latte art and got my hot drink in an unusual, tall ceramic cup with a cardboard sleeve and no handle. The glaze was inside of the cup and on the outer rim so that the base showed the beautiful, natural colors of the clay. The Pumpkin Spice Latte with oat milk was smooth (not too bitter) and just right (not too sweet)! It gave me a much needed afternoon boost! There are outlets along the high seating area (not the ones where you can look outside) as well as under the giant table.
