Went to grab a coffee this evening after a long day. I have been here a few times and I like to try different items. Today I tried the Febe Special which is coffee topped with banana cream, caramel and toffee. It is really good. Has a strong coffee taste but the cream evens it out with a touch of sweetness. Coffee was a 8 out of 10. I just like my coffee a bit more sweet. But overall it was good. I also tried the cinnamon roll. Which is not super sweet and covered in frosting like other places sell them. This was lightly glazed and warmed up. Not too sweet. It was a 7 out of a 10. Customer service was great per usual Barista Serena was very attentive as soon as I walked in she instantly greeted me. There were actually available tables which was great because it's always packed, so that was a plus. Also, they were playing some bangers! Some Jheńe Aiko, Lauren Hill, girl yes! Ordered: - egg latte, no sweet (4/5): Solid coffee flavor. Wasn't too milky at all which is always a good sign. The egg cream was barely sweet which was perfect for me and adds some much needed texture to the drink. Wasn't blown away but was very satisfied with my drink. Overall (4/5): Came here on a Saturday morning to get some work done. It was definitely busier than I expected but I managed to snag a seat. There's a myriad of options to choose from for their einspänners. I believe the matcha has more options as the base compared to coffee but you can't go wrong with either option. I tried the Einspanner latte half sweet with less ice and the worker kindly asked if I'd like more cream or more milk to adjust for the ice. I've never heard a coffee shop do that before so I opted for more milk and I don't feel like it changed the flavor profile. I could definitely tell that it was less sweet though, which I appreciated, because the sweet cream a balanced it perfectly. As for the double matcha, I couldn't tell it was less sweet because it was still sweet albeit the right amount. So if you have a sweet tooth, maybe keep it at 100% but if not, I recommend 50% or lower. The matcha latte itself was good and the sweet cream added another layer of complexity to the drink. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and almost all tables were filled with people working but there were open seats along the wall. They have a solid selection of both matcha and coffee drinks, making it a great spot whether you're a coffee lover or a matcha fan. My friend ordered the Banana Cream Pudding Matcha. Did a quick trip from San Diego to Los Angeles and was in need of some caffeine. There were several options on Yelp in this area to choose from but I'm glad I went with someone's local recommendation. I haven't always had the best of luck with coffee shops in strip malls, but I'm happy to say this was an exception. They had a very clean and minimalistic vibe inside the shop with plenty of space to hang out or open up your laptop. The Barista behind the counter was extremely friendly and didn't even skip a beat when I asked for something that was not on their menu. My standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a quad shot tasted great. They also use my favorite oat milk which is Calista Farms. Bonus! There was truly nothing over the top, fancy about this shop, but sometimes I find they are the best. If I lived in this area, I would definitely come back again. Great job guys! read more

I've been here now twice. And I love trying their matchas. I've tried the Ube Matcha and Blueberry Matcha. The second time I went I got the blueberry matcha and got the half sweetness and that was perfect for me. I was really able to taste the blueberry and the matcha and wasn't overly sweet. I'm not a big sweet person when it comes to my drinks so I really appreciated the suggestion from the cashier, Serena to get the half sweetness. (The blueberry matcha isn't on the big screen menu. It's on a little menu they have set up next to their register. Just a heads up) My cousin ordered the sea salt nutty. It was recommended by the cashier Serena. (Serena was very helpful in her recommendations to each of us and all the questions we had.) My cousin really loved the salty caramel taste in her drink. (It was the perfect recommendation). My mom has tried the mango matcha and the strawberry matcha here. She preferred the mango matcha but still enjoyed the strawberry matcha. We've tried 2 different pastries, raspberry pistachio croissant and the lemon raspberry danish. Both were delicious. They have plenty of seating inside with low piano music playing and good AC blasting for the summer heat. Lots of people have their laptops and are working. Also noticed a lot of groups coming to just chat while enjoying their drinks. It was very busy both times I came around 10:30 am on Sunday (both times). But the workers work fast to get the orders taken and out to customers. They have a restroom available for customers and it was kept nice and clean. Big plus! The barista recommended 100% sweetness, which she indicated was 3 pumps of sweetness. I'm glad I asked because even with cutting down to 50%, it was still sweet for my taste. I'm not sure if it's just because of the matcha cream, but I would definitely say ask to change the sweetness if you like your matcha more bitter/earthly. Febe Coffee is located in Towne Centre Village between Smoke Shop and Nails & Spa. They replaced Margin Cafe. They have matcha drinks and other coffee drinks. I ordered a Lotus Einspanner. This consists of espresso, milk, biscoff, and biscoff cream. This was fantastic. Smooth and creamy biscoff cream with nice balance of espresso and biscoff flavor. Lots of biscoff topping on top. Lid is optional as I decided to add one before I left. Once I placed the lid on top of the drink, the drink required a bit of effort to sip out of as the cream was thick and there were lots of biscoff on top. Worth the struggle though. Service was great. I was greeted upon entry. Cashier was warm and friendly. I was asked if whole milk was okay and if the sweetness level was okay. I wanted to sign up for their rewards program but they already moved onto the next screen. Not a big deal I can sign up next time. I asked for my receipt but couldn't get it in time as they said the internet was down for which they apologized. My drink arrived within 10 minutes. They have lids, straws, and napkins on the side of the counter. It was nice and spacious inside the shop. There's minimalist interior and piano music playing. There's several tables and one long booth along the wall with a few small tables. It was kinda warm inside the establishment. The sun was already gleaming through the windows on this bright morning. There was only one other patron when I arrived. More baristas and more patrons starting coming in a few moments later. Great coffee and wonderful service! I enjoyed their Lotus Einspanner! Febe Coffee originally started in Irvine and recently opened a second location in Diamond Bar! They offer a variety of coffee and matcha drinks to choose from. I ended up trying the strawberry matcha. The cream top was a tad too thick, and combined with the strawberry purée, it overpowered the matcha. Once mixed together, it tasted more like strawberry milk. Aside from that, the space was great for getting work done or catching up with friends. I also appreciated the nice touch of having a water dispenser available for customers. With the addition of the ube foam, it added another earthy slightly sweet mixture ***PEOPLE They were still in training but didn't say anything to me as I was standing there waiting to have them take my order. I was less than impressed with my visit here to see the new Febe location. They don't take cash They didn't have half and half They don't have Splenda either. The inside had plenty of seating with some large tables and some round tables. I liked the setup, it was simple but decent. The banana pudding matcha is probably the best item there however I wouldn't really say that the matcha is very good, it has more of a watery taste than a striking matcha flavor. Also one of the banana pudding matchas that we ordered didn't taste like it had any sugar in it, and we compared it to the other one that did have sugar. This was very off putting so we tried asking the staff if we could have sweetener and they seemed not to believe that there wasn't any sugar in one of the matchas. Overall, I think it was just okay but I really like banana and matcha together so maybe I'll give it another shot! read more

I saw an ad on Instagram about this place and told my friends if we can hit it up and I am so glad we did! Ever since then, my friends and I visit this place pretty frequently! Food: AMAZING! I've tried pretty much every matcha drink here and they do not miss at all. I will say that their regular sweetness is pretty sweet on the drinks so I personally have been getting 50% sweetness on my drinks. My favorite has been the corn matcha and the strawberry matcha. I love their cold foams! Overall, they have been consistent as I've actually been here 3-4 times since the past 2 weeks. Service: INCREDIBLE! There was one day where my cousin tried the corn matcha but forgot to adjust the sweetness. I let the ladies up front if we can somehow get it less sweet and they made her a new drink overall. We offered to pay for the new drink, but they said it was fine! It was really nice of them as it was also my cousin's birthday that day and it made her day :') Ambiance: Awesome! The interior is very minimal, yet they designed it pretty awesome! There is a lot of seating inside and every time I visit, it is packed with people doing work or just lounging with friends! I also really love how they are pet-friendly. I have brought my dog twice to this cafe and it's awesome how I can work outside with my dog! So glad to find a great local spot. Their espresso uses in their coffees is so smooth, not acidic and no bite. The pandan latte is SOOO good, like drinking a dessert. They're really new and just opened, and because of that, some of the staff aren't fully trained yet and don't know all the different pastries they offer. I'm not docking a star off for this because they're so new, but I hope that they all get fully trained soon. Onto the actual drinks - I tried their black sesame hojicha and it was truthfully one of the best caffeinated drinks I've had in recent memory. The black sesame foam on top was creamy, rich in sesame flavor, and paired beautifully with the fragrant hojicha. You can tell the quality of the ingredients. Febe Coffee takes over the former Margin Coffee location and has a menu that focuses on matcha drinks but also has plenty of signature coffee drinks crafted with Stereoscope roasted beans. Although it's hard for me not to compare the clean, modern physical interior to Margin, which had more of a community feel, Febe's drinks are also pricier but I would actually say well worth the cost. I got a double matcha with oat milk, which cost me $7.50 but I do like how extra (and extra delicious) it was as it consisted of a matcha latte with matcha foam and matcha powder on top. I'm so happy this place is in diamond bar! I have been to the irvine loc before! The customer service here was really amazing! I really want to emphasize how nice and attentive the girl was i wish i knew her name!!! I feel like nowadays the service can really suck at most matcha shops or coffee shops. I'm not familiar with the Febe franchise but was happily surprised at the drink quality and the fact that they have longer business hours since Grid/Reborn closing times are on the early side. the quality of the matcha is great & is well balanced with the einspanner cream top. If been wanting to try this place since Margin coffee closed but I was severely disappointed. I got the hojicha latte with oat milk and it was way too sweet. Also not sure what oat milk they are using but it totally overpowered the hojicha. It could also mean they are using lower quality hojicha powder. Also the drink is made with a kitchen whisk, which makes me concerned about how they are making their matcha drinks. We normally go to Grid across the street. Wanted to check out this new coffee shop. My husband and I got the febe latte and the matcha latte. We thought the febe latte was ok. Didn't taste much of the espresso coming through. It was very milky. The matcha was good. Had good matcha flavor however it was mostly ice. (For both drinks) I got a few good sips in before it was all gone. I think I maybe got 1/2 cup of matcha total. I feel ripped off. You want better coffee/matcha, go across the street. At least you get your moneys worth especially in today's economy. read more

Febe Coffee is a spacious coffee that took over Margin Cafe. Service is nice and friendly. Since it's still new, a lot of people are frequenting Febe Coffee. They are definitely known for their matcha. If you are a matcha fanatic, this place is for you. The lady who took my order was very kind. I got the Yuzu Matcha Tonic. It's refreshing and light in taste. I do wish the flavors were balanced just a bit more as the Yuzu is a bit over powering the matcha taste. There is a hint of the matcha tea for sure though!
