Danzzan is another popular coffee/tea/cafe spot in the area. It's not like traditional milk tea at other spots. I want to say it's more westernized fusion? I got an energizer drink and it was pretty fizzy and sweet. It does look pretty in the picture but it was not really my thing. The interior of this place is not too big, there are a few spots if you wanted to use a laptop/study but some of the spots have pretty hard seating like metal stools. The way you order is through a kiosk and there was maybe only 1 person working there when I went. All they do is make you drink or get you your snack if you ordered a snack but there is no service. They did have a variety of cookies but they didn't look that appealing so I didn't want to try it. Parking for the place isn't too bad, they have shaded spots that you could park under. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I probably won't return here.

Everyone is saying that this spot is better than Stagger, I have to agree but I'm also don't understand the hype with that. Their Double Matcha is the better drink to get. The Coconut Matcha isn't made with fresh coconut water, kind of disappointed when the drink was almost $8 for a 12oz. You can order using the kiosk which makes it easy. We came on a Wednesday afternoon and it was super quiet with people studying. They have a little parking lot and the store is facing the Main Street. ig: @cravingswithcat

I heard about this quaint cafe shop through a recent Yelp SGV event which I was not confirmed in to attend. It's all good. It surely didn't stop me from dropping by to support this small biz. Danzzan is conveniently located at Colima Plaza in Rowland Heights. It faces the very busy Colima Rd. Free parking is available on the side and back of the building. Got here 15 minutes before closing time on a Wednesday evening. A very friendly and nice young gentleman greeted me immediately. Since this was my first time here, I asked a lot of questions. Thank you Cy for your great recommendations and being patient with me. Interior is very cozy and comfy. Its atmosphere is soft with warm lighting. Great place to spend any time of the day with family and friends. One all gender restroom is available at the back of the shop. Ordered 3 matcha drinks and 1 cookie (got lucky because they only had one left... it was meant for me!). Prices for the drinks were reasonable. However, the cup size could be bigger. As for the cookie prices, they are on the higher side ranging from $4 - $7+ per cookie. Found out they don't make too many cookies in one day so do take advantage when they are available for purchase. *Matcha DanZzan - My top favorite out of the 3 drinks. Matcha was not overpowering. House vanilla cream was very smooth. Not ultra sweet. Very well balanced drink. Highly recommend! *Dubai Chocolate Matcha Latte - For the pistachio + crispy kadaif lovers, this drink is for you! Unique with some nice crunch. Just need a tad bigger straw to get the crispy kadaif through smoother. *Strawberry Matcha Latte - Nice and light. Not super sweet. Good go-to drink if nothing else comes to mind. *Chocolate Peanut Butter Sea Salt Cookie - SO YUMMY and PEANUT BUTTERY! I can taste the smoothness of the chocolate + generous amount of peanut butter + hint of sea salt. Not too sweet. Just perfect. Definitely would get again! Overall visit and experience was wonderful with super friendly staff + exceptional service plus amazing matcha drinks and delectable cookie. Yes, I'll be back!

Nice cafe know for their matcha drinks, pastries, and cookies! I actually preferred their hojicha to their matcha but absolutely loved their Dubai chewy cookie!! It's also the perfect study spot with WiFi, outlets, a bathroom, and plenty of parking! Service is quick but it can get busy on the weekends! Note: Only card payment accepted!

Mango and matcha is not a combo you see very often and boy is that a shame! I dropped by Danzzan for a quick pick-me-up and was pleasantly surprised by their Mango Matcha! The matcha was nice and strong and the mango puree was fresh, sweet, and tangy. Such an underrated duo! They have plenty of seating inside (perfect for studying/working!), enticing small bites (they have the viral dubai chewy cookie!), and a self-order kiosk (for all you socially awkward beans haha). An SGV gem!

Super chill cafe that specializes in matcha drinks! I've come here several times before and enjoyed all the drinks that I've ordered. Their Life is Matcha drink reminds me of Stagger's double matcha but it is a lot lighter. I also really like their mango matcha latte. I believe the matcha they use here is from Matchaful. I also got their gochujang cookie the last time I came. It tastes like a snickerdoodle with notes of gochujang. Their other cookies look so yummy too I want to try the next time I come. The staff is always really nice and welcoming here. Your drink comes out really fast after you order. Cute spot to chat at or get some work done. Definitely give this place a visit if you're in the area!

Service was amazing! The mango matcha was so delicious, and refreshing. Very subtle and not overpowering at all. I ordered with oat milk and the taste was 10/10. Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu was also so delicious and lite!

Love this spot! I got the life is matcha latte which was amazing. The matcha had a rich and deep quality profile and their matcha flavored cream top complemented it well! I previously tried their hojicha latte which was probably the best hojicha latte that I have had so far. I highly recommend this place. I want to try their strawberry or mango matcha and pastries next time! Parking was free behind structure.

Just as others have noted, this is a higher end place for quality matcha drinks and some unique Korean fusion desserts. Of course, the gochuchang sea salt caramel cookie jumps out based on the name alone. Not sure what I expected and it only has a hint of gochuchang (not a spicy cookie) and it's an interesting flovor profile. The matcha ganache cookie may be the safer bet especially if you pair it a matcha drink. The snowy persimmon drink also looks good/unique but maybe on th next visit. Very cool interior decor and they take time to craft each drink so don't expect Starbucks speed.

Easy to order on the kiosk. I do wish they opened a little earlier but am grateful they open later than other cafes for matcha in the area. I got the honey tarter tots and I thought it was just okay. But I do enjoy the drinks!

I had a bit of time in between some plans and was looking for a cafe to hangout in the meantime. I went with my friend on a Thursday at around 1 PM. There were not a lot of people here, so we ended up staying for about an hour. There were a few seats spread out in the front to back of the shop. We sat on the couches, which was pretty comfy. There's a shared restroom located in the back of the store. When it came to ordering, there was a kiosk with a photo menu for reference. We got (1) gochujang sea salt cookie, (1) chestnut tiramisu, (1) spicy so tteok bites, and (1) black sesame hojicha latte. There are tabs located on the left side of the menu that make it efficient to browse between sections. American express is accepted as a payment option. Once the order was ready, you'll need to grab it at the front counter. Gochujang Sea Salt Cookie - This was pretty good and lightly salted. It did fool me a bit since it had a hint of spice. Toasted marshmallow was a bit sweet. Chestnut Tiramisu - Tasted as expected and not too sweet! Chestnut added a nice crunchy texture. Spicy So Tteok Bites - Perfect combination of spicy, sweet, and salty. Sausage is a nice addition to the dish. Black Sesame Hojicha Latte - Great profile of flavors here. If you like Hojicha or Black Sesame, you'll definitely get each flavor here. Highly recommended if you love both flavors! Cream top wasn't too sweet. Overall, I enjoyed everything ordered and would come back again!

I decided to finally check out Danzzan on Tuesday since it was pretty hot out and there was the $5 matcha. Parking was a little tricky since the parking lot is small. My friend came closer to opening to grab us a table, so I brought my laptop to get some work done. The decor was nice and understated, a mix of cozy neutrals with a splash of green and the exposed industrial fixtures up top. I ordered the Little Forest Latte, and it's absolutely delicious. The combination of the chocolate hazelnut with the hojicha and matcha is amazing. The Dubai Chewy Cookie was a nice treat to go with it. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

Finally tried this place and it did not disappoint! the life is matcha latte was the right color and perfectly sweet. The gochujang sea salt caramel cookie was warm and yummy. Customer service was also very fast and I like that you can self order on the screen as well. I would come here again!

The only downside was that our waters were never refilled during the meal, although it honestly looked like there was only one server working at the time.
