Was walking after my meal on a Saturday afternoon and stopped by Margin Cafe. Saw the Biscoff Latte and immediately wanted that. However I also saw a Butter Pecan Latte and was conflicted. The staff said their biscoff latte is their specialty so i decided to try that drink. It wasn't that sweet and it was bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is very nice, around 5-6 tables and a couch, with some bar seats near the door and a few benches as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
[[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a cute coffee shop in diamond bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Has a lot of unique drinks which I like. My husband got a horchata latte as he wanted a hot latte yet most of specialty drinks are not available in hot and I got a biscoff latte. We liked how the drinks were not too sweet but still had those unique flavors. It was our first time at the cafe and the person who worked there explained and recommended drinks for us which I was grateful for :) It is located in a plaza so there ate enough spaces for free parking
[[HIGHLIGHT]]We came here for a quick morning study date and enjoyed the ambiance of the space - it was spacious, quiet but with nice music, and had lots of outlets to plug our laptops into.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom was also really clean![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers were nice and accommodating, serving us even though their payment systems were down (they don't take cash but thankfully the systems worked before we left so we were able to pay) We got some baked goods and ordered Biscoff Latte and Vienna Latte with cream top. Baked goods were solid and the drinks were yummy and well-concentrated, not watered/sugared down. Would love to come back for another study date here!
This was my first time in Diamond Bar so I can't compare this spot to other shops in the area. However, I can compare to the coffee shops in LA. I got the Biscoff Latte and loved it!! They have whole milk and non dairy (no 2%). The latte was the perfect amount of sweet. The Biscoff flavor is there and not too overpowering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have wifi as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a sign that requests one drink per person if you're dining in. Also that if you are staying more than an hour, to order more drinks. Not sure how much this is enforced.
This coffee cafe is located in a small plaza. I was in the area and stopped in for an iced drink on a near 100 degree afternoon. They have several outdoor tables (thanks, but not on this hot day!) and a dozen tables indoors. I ordered a Biscoff latte (only offered as an iced drink) and a slice of Biscoff cheesecake. The smiling young woman who took my order let me know she would bring it to my table when it was ready. It wasn't very busy but it took about 10 minutes for my order to be brought out. The Biscoff cake was really delicious. The Biscoff crust and sprinkles of crumbs on top were wonderful and the cheesecake was creamy, light, and slightly sweet. It has a whipped cream texture. I truly enjoyed this. The Biscoff latte was a bit of a disappointment. I could see it being made and a jar of Biscoff cookie butter was used as an ingredient (although I couldn't see how much). Oddly the latte visually looked like it had the cookie butter but there was no taste of Biscoff at all. The coffee flavor was very bold and was all I could taste. Fortunately, I really liked the taste of the iced latte even though the Biscoff flavor was completely absent - I still enjoyed it. I appreciated the signs they had up on the walls advising customers to be considerate and, if they were going to camp out with their laptops in the shop, to please, at least buy a second drink. It appeared to be effective as there were plenty of tables available for paying customers. 3.5 stars rounded up.
Fantastic cafe!! I searched coffee places near Diamond Bar and I selected this cafe for an early morning talk with my friend. I ordered an iced Blueberry Latte with soy milk and my friend ordered their Coconut Latte. Drinks came out fast and arrived on a cute small tray. There was plenty of seating. We had a great time catching up. The interior was beautiful and they even had a restroom! My drink was so delicious, it tasted like a blueberry muffin, but with espresso! I really enjoyed my time here, I can't wait to come back!
A friend of mine had posted about this cafe and I've never known about it! Easily overlooked and definitely a gem. The owners are very friendly and willing to educate about coffee and their drinks. The Biscoff latte is unique and not overbearing. Plenty of indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. Will definitely drop by more time allowing as it's in a convenient location. The interior is very cozy and well decorated. Good to enjoy coffee and do some work or read a book. Great place to relax and enjoy some good coffee.
Came to this spot to do some work with my friend and it was a nice spot for a good cup of coffee and pastry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating was also quite comfy, I'm kind of a chair snob and hate when coffee spots have chairs that leave marks on your legs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The butter pecan iced coffee was pretty yummy as well!
I've been coming here since they first opened and really enjoyed their coffee, drinks, and pastries. It's a cute coffee house with good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. It's located in a plaza with lots of parking. This time I ordered the mango matcha (seasonal item), and it was A.Mazing! The mango puree was fresh and not too sweet. It paired so well with the matcha (which I have never had)! Both the Nutella and almond croissants were yummy I definitely recommend this place.
I might be the minority here but I wasn't impressed with Margjn. I ordered the black sesame latte and the black sesame croissant. The croissant seemed days old even after it had been warmed and the latte was very underwhelming in flavor. I may try to visit again and order different offerings.
A great coffee shop with quick and friendly service! I've come by to Margin Cafe a few times during a needed break time and place to chill to do some work on the computer. The cafe has adequate indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking spaces nearby. The few times I've come here there are usually customers already working or studying at the tables. It's very quiet and you can get plenty of studying or work done in peace. FYI, the location offers free WiFi for 90 minutes with one purchase minimum if you plan on staying. I've ordered a Coconut latte and Matcha latte during my few visits. The drinks were tremendous. The drinks were prepared quickly and I had no complaints. I've been drinking matcha lately and theirs was excellent. I'd bookmark Margin Cafe if you want a nice place to have a cup of coffee or study in Diamond Bar!
So far I love this cafe, a husband and wife coffee shop that gets their beans roasted locally and bake their own cakes Got their standard ice coffee and it's more of a darker roast which is perfect for milk additions. Currently tried their seasonal drink, the rose petal latte and it's not too sweet and perfect! Their jalapeño croissant is delicious and I also love that they're pet friendly. (Cats too!) Such a cozy cafe and the service is so calming and friendly. They also do collabs so I'll be looking forward to coming here again!
Margin Cafe Coffee Roasters is located in Towne Centre Village in Diamond Bar in between Smoke Shop and Nails & Spa. They have lattes, blended frappes, smoothies, traditional coffee, tea, and refreshers. They also have seasonal drinks. Margin Cafe has become one of my favorite coffee shops. Their Biscoff Latte is my go-to drink. It's served iced by default. Excellent latte! Perfect blend of biscoff flavor, espresso, and milk. Service is pretty good. I'm usually greeted upon entry otherwise I'd be greeted at the counter. The baristas are warm and friendly. Drinks usually arrive within a few minutes. There's a lot of tables inside and some seating outside. Usually it's packed with people on laptops. Occasionally, there would be some loud conversations. I absolutely love their Biscoff Latte. I'm always back for more!

I went to Margin Roasters on a Sunday at around 10:30 AM. Looking for a good study spot with good coffee, pastries, and WiFi. A few of these expectations were met. For the pastries, it looked like a lot of the ones I was hoping from browsing online were not available. I ended up getting the biscoff cheesecake. It was on the sweeter side but it was very good. For the drink, I ended up getting the banana latte. Been on a streak of getting that lately so wanted to compare with other stores. I didn't get a lot of banana in the taste. At least it had an espresso shot for the caffeine fix and did not taste like the artificial banana. Nothing special there and stand out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For the interior, they had a few seating they primarily accommodated a few groups of four and two. I was able to grab a bench seat that had an outlet. However, there wasn't enough space for my laptop and the items I ordered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]WiFi was available but it had a 90 minute limit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store had a moderate noise level and stayed busy throughout the time that I was there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service on the order was quick and they do bring it out to you. The store also has their own house espresso which was a medium dark roast. American Express is accepted as a payment option here. Overall, it was a decent work spot. If I come back, I'd prefer to try another drink and hope other pastries are available. Would recommend the biscoff cheesecake for those that want something sweet and the house coffee beans for those that like medium roasts. read more
I came here specifically because for the Biscoff latte. I was surprised that they only offered it hot, but it was good nonetheless. They smeared Biscoff spread on the cup and used just enough syrup so that I could taste the cookie butter but not to the point where it was overly sweet. In fact, I would argue that it wasn't that sweet at all and the espresso was a lot stronger. There were a few cookie crumbs at the bottom too so I'm not sure if they incorporated it in the syrup or if it just sank to the bottom by the time I got my drink. I also tried the hot horchata latte but it seemed more like a regular latte sprinkled with cinnamon powder because there didn't seem to be any syrup. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the vibes on the rainy Monday I visited and a lot of people were in there working or studying, since there were outlets against the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers were nice and approachable, and the drinks came out quickly. read more

I ordered the Biscoff Latte ($5.50 - 12oz - Iced). It's not punchy; rather, this coffee felt subdued and silky. It's not too sweet nor bitter. The aftertaste is a crumbly caramelized cookie. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Only card. Also, they have a 90 minute policy. If you want to stay longer than 90 minutes, management wants you to purchase more.) I arrived at Margin Cafe (Diamond Bar) on Thursday (around 12:15PM). Parking is easy. The lot is big. Staff is curt, busy, and business-like. Staff explained that the 12oz coffee and the 16oz coffee had the same number of shots; I chose the 12oz, so it wouldn't be diluted. My drink took six minutes and 36 seconds. As mentioned, the Biscoff Latte ($5.50 - 12oz - Iced) is not bad. It's not too milky. And it's not bitter nor too sweet. It's also fairly affordable compared to other quality spots. However, there's a lot of ice, so the drink vanishes fairly fast. The caffeine is not strong, but it's enduring. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regarding ambiance, Margin Cafe (Diamond Bar) is sleek but fairly unmemorable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's about four electrical outlets. Also, there's customer internet with password. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately, the 90 minute time-limit feels constraining for this place to be a good study/work spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, the music is fairly loud; it's like management wants to scare away loitering college students.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, Margin Cafe (Diamond Bar) offers decent coffee. It's not the best, but it's an affordable, solid option. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. It's very spacious inside with lots of seating options so it's perfect for studying.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We aren't from the area but happened to stumble across this hidden gem. We didn't realize they were closing in 10 minutes but been the the person working gave us her undivided attention and did not make us feel rushed or unwelcomed I wanted to try something I've never had before but it wasn't really my style. That being said, I am more than willing to come again to try a new drink and the pastries (they look soooo good!!!!) read more
Tried Margin Coffee this morning and absolutely loved it! The coffee was rich and full of flavor, with a great variety of options to choose from. The café itself has a warm, welcoming vibe, perfect for studying or relaxing. The staff is friendly and served everything quickly, making the experience even better. I tried the biscoff ice latte, and I can confirm it tastes like a biscoff, and the butter pecan ice latte. Lots of parking as well. read more

Okayyy another Diamond Bar hidden gem! It's a cute little place on the inside, nice for working. When it comes to matcha, I'm always particular about the quality of the matcha, the matcha-to-milk ratio, and how it's sweetened. I was impressed! The pictures of the matcha on here made me think it might be too milky but my matcha had a gorgeous green color, and the flavor was on point--not too sweet but perfectly balanced. They use simple syrup, which is fine, and it didn't overpower the matcha taste at all. Plus, the girl at the cashier was so sweet--she even gave me a compliment on my nails! This cute cafe is great for studying since it has fast wifi and outlets along the wall. There are 6 tables and a couch for those who like to just sit and chat. The volume in here isn't too loud unless a group walks in. They do have a rule that you can only sit for 90 minutes or you have to order another drink, however we were here for longer and didn't get kicked out. They also require each person to order a drink. It was a bit chilly inside but I usually run cold. other people were wearing tank tops! We order a cold brew, biscoff latte and esther's special (less sweet). the cold brew was very smoking and reminded me of mezcal so i wasn't really a fan. The biscoff latte was yummy and not too sweet! The esther's special is usually really sweet so i asked for less sweet, but it still was pretty sweet. Both lattes were still very yummy. read more
Among the other cafes in this little 0.5 mi radius I hadn't tried Margin yet, and I was excited too because I love having roasters in the area and have also been a fan of all the other cafes. No exception here! Super cute interior and I love the comfort that this place has to offer. Comfy chairs and a lot of tables, also has a tiny sofa and large couch so lounging here is great. Ordered a biscoff latte with a jalapeño cream cheese croissant. Biscoff Latte Lrg ($6): The universal Asian compliment "not too sweet" applies here because a drink like this can easily go overboard but it's nice. Jalapeño Cream Cheese Croissant ($5.50): Filled with a good amt of both jalapeños and cream cheese and topped with a lot of black sesame which I am partial to, but overall don't mind. You can also order it warmed. It would be nice if the beans had roast dates on them, but will be coming back. read more

Their Tiramisu Latte is a seasonal customer favorite, but I thought the flavors were on the weaker end. Would I come back? No. It's not the best place to study long-term since they have a 90-minute police on their WiFi :( & not many outlets read more

The Biscoff cheesecake is an absolute treat! It has a rich, dense cream cheese filling that's almost ganache-like in texture, with a wonderful depth of flavor. The Biscoff base adds a buttery, crispy crunch that perfectly complements the creamy topping--truly indulgent. I had to stop myself from finishing the whole slice! The cozy shop offers comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to relax and work. I've had the Biscoff latte twice now. Um, I love this place! Stopped by this neat coffee shop to meet up with a college friend and absolutely adored this spot. They definitely could be great for a study spot too. It was my first time here so I asked for some recs and one of those stuck out to me. The blueberry latte was something I'd never tried anywhere else before and honestly, it kinda blew me away. The mix of blueberry sauce/syrup with the coffee latte was a mixture of sweet, tart, and coffee. My friend got their horchata latte and when I tried it, it tasted exactly like a horchata would. This is a small-ish coffee shop but they do offer wifi and a handful of seating options. I hope more people discover this spot! read more

Great study place, but the seats fill up fast. Customer service was really nice, and it seems like there are many regulars that stop by. They have great wifi and coffee. I opted for the chai latte which has a gingery note to it that slightly hits your throat. It was good for a first time try, but I would rather get their other drinks. read more

I believe this place replaced It's A Grind Coffee. Went on a Sunday morning with 2 two of my best friends around 11am. Almost all the indoor seats were taken but we managed to get the table with a lounge couch. There's also about 4 tables with benches right outside the shop. This place has been on my bucket list for a while, and it did not disappoint at all! I loved looking at the fresh plant decor as well, and the ambiance is supported with nice lofi music. I noticed a lot of other groups were there for studying, so if you're there to socialize like I was, I would recommend not being toooo loud in respect of others who are utilizing the space. I ordered the Coconut Iced Latte (16oz) substituting soy milk and added a shot of chocolate. It was amazing! The coconut was subtle yet not overpowering, as was the chocolate. First time trying this place and was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering, there was lots of people doing work on their laptops in there, which makes it a good place to study as it was calm and relatively quiet inside. The interior was nicely decorated and had a nice minimal theme with plants scattered around the cafe. The workers were very friendly and openly having conversations with some of the customers. I ended up getting the Iced Blueberry Latte and it was very delicious. The combination of the sweetness from the blueberry syrup and the bitterness from the espresso made a delicious latte.
