This is a korean bakery located inside a Korean Supermarket. There's a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes to choose from. The owner is very nice and amicable, always give me 2 free breads to take home whenever I placed order for a cake. The store is pretty clean and organized. There's always freebies if you buy a lot. Not just that, the korean bread is soft and perfect sweetness. You won't regret it ~! Go get yours if you haven't
My partner has been on a sweet potato kick. From a guy who opts out of potatoes except for fries, he suddenly discovered the flavors of sweet potato. I thought, what about a sweet potato cake. Found two Korean bakers that had sweet potato cakes on the menu. It was kismet this bakery was just down the street from a restaurant we chose for his birthday dinner. I called and the owners took down my name and the fact I'll be there around 7 at night. Didn't even take down payment info or number. I got there a little after 7 & saw they had sweet potato cakes left. Reasonably priced too! $40 for larger and $30 for smaller. I thought $30 would work for just 4 of us but for $10 extra, my partner thought we should splurge. The owner remembered me from the phone call and addressed me by name. While his wife was ringing me up, her husband came up to me with a bag of bread to throw in. That was so sweet. With their service, variety and price point, we'll be back. The cake was delicious too. Not sure how cold their display is but the cream filling in the middle was just cold enough to taste like soft serve ice cream. Intentional or not, it was delicious!
A lot of yummy pastries and goodies here. Don't think they sell individual sliced cakes, but they have a napoleon cake that's really good. As always, my fav is the red bean bun!
Stopped by on my birthday and picked up a mixed berry cake. It was absolutely delicious.... fresh, tasty, and beautifully made. What really stood out was the kindness of the owners. They were incredibly welcoming and even gave my 14-year-old daughter two complimentary breads. Great service, great people, and great desserts. I highly recommend supporting this bakery!
Ordered a last minute chocolate cake for my brother's birthday yesterday. The bakery was so sweet, they even included 2 extra pastries as a thank you for supporting their small business. The cake was packaged very carefully and the chocolate was so good. Perfect amount of sweetness and the cream was light and delicious. Will definitely order from them again.
This little bakery is such a hidden gem, tucked away in the corner of a supermarket. We purchased a wide variety of their pastries, as well as two cakes - one large and one small - as some gifts for a friend and his family nearby. The bakery is family owned and the owners helped us and were SO nice and sweet! They have a surprisingly large selection of Korean pastries, breads, and decorative cakes available - definitely on par with bakeries like 85° for example. And they do pre-ordered custom cakes as well. We grabbed a small Panda Cake bc it was just way too cute to pass up haha! And a large Mixed Berry Cake bc it was so beautiful and elegant - sure to make an impressive gift. We also grabbed quite a few different pastries for the gift basket and some for ourselves of course lol! Our friend and his family absolutely loved the cakes - they were so impressed! And we all enjoyed everything we tried - I especially loved the Powdered Donut with Yellow Creme - such a soft, smooth texture, light flavors and not too sweet - very excellently made. The Strawberry and Creme bun was good too but a little too much creme for my preference - still a nice flavor though and the strawberries were definitely fresh. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality- especially for the cakes - they run between $25-$40 and are so good - also large portions too. And the sweet couple that own the shop just couldn't be nicer! They trip over themselves trying to help and make sure you leave very satisfied- even in spite of the language barrier lol! And if you buy a cake, they give you some extra pastries to say thank you lol. Their location is a tad random lol - You'll find them inside Market World which is a huge Asian supermarket full of random little shops all along the edges and there's even a restaurant inside. Bonjour Bakery is located to the far right as you walk in. There's plenty of parking in the large shopping plaza and lots of other shops as well. We'll definitely be back even though Diamond Bar is out of our way! I definitely need to try one of their loaves of bread next time - Thank you!
Fist time and last time coming here. Fist: Please change the wording of your Yelp Check In promotion to "buy a cake" instead of "any purchase. That is very confusing. This older lady assisted me with payment specifically said a cake need to be purchased to redeem. I'm okay without any Yelp Check in and would still support local business as usual but please no click bait and false advertising. First time I encountered this. There was not anyone at the bakery section of the supermaket when we entered. After I grabbed a few items to purchase, an older lady came out and kept looking my way like I was going to run out of the store with their pastries. I noticed they use simple ingredients which I like in pastries but overall experience was not positive. Well, I finished making my selection and walked up to the register to pay. No greetings "Hello" "Thank You" whatsoever. I paid and left. 2 Stars for the simple ingredients and good sweet-taste patries. There are quite a few other bakeries around Rowland Heights/Walnut so I definitely won't be returning here
This bakery is located within the Market World. Owned by a nice friendly Ajeossi, it a lot of options for pastries, bread, & cakes. He will give you a couple of free pastries if you make a cake purchase. I've come here a few times already & they for the cakes & they're usually priced around $25-35. I even called to order a large cake for maybe 15-20 people which was about $70, which isn't too shabby. Be sure to give at least a day's notice for anything custom. Definitely coming here for all my cake needs & you should too.
While I was doing some grocery shopping at the Korean market, Hannam chain I found a bakery inside. The male Korean owner helping me was super nice and kind! They had a variety of pastries and everything was fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend this spot if you are craving pastries in the area for sure.

My Church Parents Karmen and Carlos initially intended to buy my Birthday Cake at Paris Baguette but Karmen was baffled by how expensive the Cakes were there and Carlos suggested Bonjour Bakery inside the Korean Cave Market a few shops down :0) Carlos said none of the Cakes at Paris Baguette made him think of me, but when He saw this Pandamonium Power Princessa Design He said "That's Lisa right there!" Hahaha!!!! Made a custom Oreo cake for my 8 year old son's birthday that was beautiful and loved by everyone! The bakery is so cute and I was even given a free pastry. I chose the cream puff it was delicious.
The bakery is located inside the Hannam Chain Market World supermarket. Saw the high reviews on both Yelp and Google, so I decided to give it a shot and ordered a birthday cake, but I regretted it. The Paris Baguette next door probably would have been so much better in terms of both food and service. I placed my order for an 8" cake over the phone a couple of days in advance to pick up over the weekend, but when I arrived at the pick up time, there was no cake ready and it looked like they didn't even have any record of my order. In a bind and short on time, I had to purchase a smaller pre-made 6" cake on the spot from their display case and provide the cake message to the staff again. Not a great experience already. Also, the staff mainly speak Korean, so if you don't speak the language, communication may be an issue. In terms of the cake, it was definitely subpar as well. Texture was soft, but not as moist as it could/should have been. And the mixed berry filling was still FROZEN when served which made cutting the cake (with the provided plastic cake knife) difficult and the cake itself hard to eat. Still giving 2 stars for their last minute effort to try to put something together and the lady seemed to want to make up for things by giving me a free pastry bun. But based on my overall experience, the business is not reliable and the cake wasn't even that tasty, so it really doesn't deserve anything beyond that.

Bonjour Bakery is without a doubt one of the best bakeries we've been to. It's also an absolute hidden gem tucked away in a small corner of Hannam Chain Market World. It's a very humble-looking bakery. It doesn't have the niceties of the big bakery chains, but what it does have is quality that's far better than what you'll find at those places. We absolutely love the cakes here. We've ordered cake from here twice now--and for no occasion at all. It's just that good. The pastries? Perfect. We've tried quite a few of them now, and they've all been a hit. We've more or less stopped going anywhere else for cake. The Oreo cake is, without a doubt, the best Oreo-style cake we've had. And it's not just us--our family members agree too. This is the type of cake where one slice is not enough. The type of cake that, as an adult with free will, compels you to buy an entire cake just to have it at home. We've had cake double and thrice the price yet this blows them out of the water. The pastries? They're all good. I'm eating one as I write this. Customer service? Outstanding. A couple runs this business. They're both very sweet and genuinely caring. We can tell the owners put a lot of love in their bakery. I urge you to try this place. read more
Bon Jour! We all know Taiwanese bakeries are the best but I stumbled onto Bon Jour Bakery when I came to the Hannam Chain market (they are inside the market) to get Korean beer (which is better than Taiwan beer). It was late so many items were sold out but the two things caught my eye were the almond brittle and walnut 'cookies'. Both turned out to be very good and kudos to them for using whole walnuts inside the walnut 'cookies'! The owner comp'd me the donut twist and apple fritter since he wanted me to pay $cash$ (both good too). Check out my pics! read more

I ordered a tiramisu cake for my wife's birthday and we all loved the fresh taste and flavor. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I love this type of mom and pop small shop and would love to support them rather than going to big franchise corporate chains. I will definitely come back and get more cakes and bakeries here. The sweet lady owner even gave me a free chocolate bread as a treat. Two thumbs up for the quality taste of the cake and heartwarming service. read more
I was doing some research on birthday cakes within the area and came across Bonjour Bakery. I initially had my eyes set on Porto's, but this place was closer and the reviews here captured my eye. Located within a supermarket, you'll just need to enter and go all the way to the right corner of the store and ring the bell if staff is busy in the back. This bakery is adorable and has a wide array of breads and sweets, ranging from cookies, to baguettes, loafs, and of course birthday cakes. I'd ordered the mixed berry cake, which was beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. It was also more than enough for a large gathering. The lady who was taking my order was so sweet and even gave free birthday candles, along with a couple baked goods on the house. I'm definitely coming back here, and I highly recommend checking this place out. read more

This bakery pretty much had good review so I decided to order two layers wedding cake for my mother in law. I don't regret when picked up the cake even the owner speaks little English, their are very friendly and nice. They gave me extra breads twice, which I did not expect that. The price very decent, ordered two flavors mocha and vanilla strawberry turned out the cake has one flavor vanilla strawberry only, you may need to keep remind them in case they forgot or missed the note but it's not a big deal for me I like the cake very delicious not too sweet just perfect of flavors. The decoration not included. Highly recommended this bakery for birthday/ wedding party you may have. read more
Greatest bakery of all time. All the bread and cakes are freshly baked using the best ingredients. We celebrate every holiday and special occasion with their cakes and they are exquisite. They go above and beyond in taste quality and aesthetic!!!!! The owners are very kind generous and have excellent customer service! read more
I was looking for cake for a party last minute and found this business on Yelp with high ratings, and I can see why. The older Korean couple who own this shop are so nice and generous, they gave me a couple of pastries on top of my cake purchase and added in some candles and a happy birthday stick with no extra charge. The cake was a little sweet but nothing too much. All the cakes for the smaller sizes were around $25 and of high quality. I will definitely be back! This bakery is tucked inside of the HanNamChain market. If you enter the market, it's on the right side. The owner is the sweetest man! Got the small panda cake for a birthday (chocolate cake with Oreo frosting). The cake is super light and the frosting is not too sweet - the entire family loved it. He also gave me a mocha bread to try and it was delicious! I found my new cake shop/bakery!! read more

Friendly service, great selections of bread/pastries and cakes! This bakery is tucked in the Hannam Market World supermarket. We ordered a 6in mocha cake for Christmas eve and it was delicious. The bakery worker even went to the back to retrieve it and decorated it with a little snowman :) the cake sponge was a tiny bit dry, but the light whipped cream frosting added moisture to it. It was not too sweet and my whole family enjoyed it. We were also impressed that the 6in cake was only $25 when it would've easily been $30+ at other locations. I picked up a few breads too and they were all pretty good - napoleon sponge, corn bread cake, & some cookies. Definitely give this place a try & support the family that runs it! We can't wait to try their other cake flavors when we're back in the area. read more
