Honestly one of the best cafes I have been to in such a long time. The staff is so nice and provided me with a free sample of their outpost latte which had me sold. I also got a cookie & the ham sandwich which were equally as tasty. There is so much room in here making it easy to study or just talk with friends. Creamy and refreshing although there was a lot of ice which we ordered less ice. 7/10 The strawberry and cream latte is also creamy but sweetened with strawberry puree. This place is fantastic! Like many have noted, this place used to be "The Mugs" which was a shop I was also fond of. Outpost took a lot of aspects of "The Mugs" and revamped it. Starting from the menu, I think it is much more focused. In addition to the usual offerings of Americanos and syrup lattes, they kept their extensive selection of quality teas and have a few single origin and blend selections for pour overs as well. Huge draw from the previous concept also was their croffles, which they have kept which are awesome in addition to all the other super tasty pastry options they have. They have been really pushing their Outpost Latte and even very kindly offering samples at the register, and the other reviews are spot on, it's just really good haha. It is essentially an einspanner latte with the cream top, but made with chicory-infused cold brew instead of espresso which still provides a deeper coffee taste without being too strong for some. In addition to the Outpost Latte, I have also ordered an single origin Ethiopian pour over with a pistachio croissant. Pour over was made well and could distinguish the tasting notes. Pistachio croissant was very flaky and comforting. A huge revamp also is the ambiance and seating layout of the place. I will have to admit that the seating situation before was a little uncomfortable, but the new leather and plastic chairs are much better. First time here... elite tasting coffee. I will add a disclaimer that their drinks are pricey I paid almost $17 for 2 small lattes. I will be back because the latte was good and service good too. This was my first time at Outpost Coffee after looking for a new coffee spot and decided to try it! Very large, spacious, plenty of seating and nice big windows for plenty of natural light. Many patrons were working on their laptops, but I decided to take mine to go. As a rookie here, I was unsure which to try. Luckily, the cashier answered my questions regarding the Outpost Latte which peaked my interest, and even offered a free sample! What a poppin place. First time visiting this place and they were packed with so many people studying on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered a banana caramel latte and strawberry matcha. Now that the Mugs is Toast it's time for a new host to bring a different roast and it happens to be called the Outpost! The interior is pretty much the same and they did add a couple of nice pieces to brighten up the shop. A couple of new items to their revamped menu that I tried out was their Yuzu Tonic and Bouquet Tisane Tea. The Yuzu Tonic was pretty good and it held the flavor throughout the drink. Next I had the Bouquet Tisane tea which is kind of like a Chamomile tea. They just didn't put a tea bag in the drink and say here you go but they did the whole timing of the tea. You may probably know or not but every tea has a different set time to bring out the flavor so that's what happened and it came out really good. I also tried the signature Outpost Latte which was really good and it came with a nice cream top that was very flavorful. The service I can honestly say is a hit and miss depending who's running the counter and hopefully they fix this. And! Mug service is in full effect. But I recommend coming early or non peak hours because this place gets Hella packed. Parking is limited when it's busy but other than that it's a sweet spot. And that's my take, Peace... read more

I've been here before when it was a different coffee shop and I must say the ambiance now is 100 times better. The color scheme and lighting were very calm and welcoming. The service was great! The guy helping my friend and I asked us if we wanted to sample their Outpost Latte and of course, we said yes. I had originally wanted to try their honey oatmilk latte, but I was instantly swayed to get their Outpost Latte. It was creamy and smooth with a nice amount of sweetness. My friend wanted to try their matcha latte, but saw their fall offerings that included pumpkin. The barista was happy to create a pumpkin cream matcha latte at her request even though it was not on the menu. Drinks were definitely on point and so was their service! Their drinks are decent and prices start around $5.50 and up! For a first time visitor, you pretty much will be left standing around because no one at the cashier will greet you or ask you if you need a table. Not even a hello or how may I help you? When you get right up to the cash register, if you can find it since it's your first visit, then someone will be able to take your order! We walked up to the service counter where a barista was standing and he pretty much just ignored us at first, then told us if we needed to order then go to the cash register which was literally right next to where he was standing. Starbucks ambiance is fine and free WiFi with password access is provided. The public restrooms do require a password to access. The banana cream top was creamy and sweet without tasting artificial at all. My friends liked my drink too. I'm usually a slow sipper, but I finished this one very quickly. While the banana matcha is delicious, it is on the pricier side. The drink was $7.25, with oat milk as an extra $1, bringing the total to $9.05. Pretty good but it didn't wow me. I would give it four, maybe four and a half stars. I expected more for five I think. The atmosphere is nice but standard coffee shop, not exactly cozy because there's just so much wood and metal everywhere. As someone mentioned before the parking lot is a total pain. I had the Spanish latte which was good, even though it was decaf. They claimed their beans were organic but I wish there was something somewhere that told me where they were sourced from or who the roastery was cuz I'm just taking their word for it and I have stomach issues so that's why I asked...we'll see how it goes. The avocado toast was okay. Everything seemed fresh but I did wish the avocado was smashed like it often is, instead of cubes, and maybe a little paprika and some salt and pepper on the side would have been nice. I love how bright the space is because of the tall and wide windows! The curved bar seating makes for the perfect communal area for solo students and workers trying to get some productive body doubling done. I saw no outlets. I've never tried The Mugs before, so I have nothing to compare it to, though I was just a tad bit disappointed that they didn't offer the sesame croffle that was previously on the menu. Dalgona latte (4.0) Caught me completely off guard to see dalgona candy atop an iced latte since I was expecting something else, but it works so well! The coffee tastes great and the slowly dissolving dalgona gave the latte a more roasted, toffee flavor as I babysat it. Blueberry croffle (3.0) I've never had a croffle before, so I was surprised to find that this wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be. But that could have been my fault since I ate it ~10-15 min after it was made. The croissant itself felt more like a pancake or soft waffle since it wasn't super buttery or flakey. I really liked the blueberry cream on top and appreciated how much they piped on! read more
