I decided to try their Bun Bo Bue, and it was good, not great. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I liked it to be. The noodles were a bit overcooked. It also cost $20 which is a bit pricey. The meat was cooked well and was tasty, but I wished they added more beef. The service was okay. The server wasn't enthusiastic or anything. The dish didn't take long to make though. Ambiance continues to be really good! It'd be good for an occasion night or date.

a so-so Vietnamese restaurant. The vibe is nice and the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. It's a pleasant place to sit and eat. Good service. However, the food is a little plain and not very authentic. One dish I did like was the cá kho. The fish was cooked well and tasted fresh, with no fishy smell. That dish stood out more than the others.

Lowkey was very skeptical about coming here at first, but regretted not coming here sooner. I got a large pho with beef and meatballs! The broth was extremely flavorful and to be honest it could've gone without the seasoning, but I love a little kick. Usually restaurants tend to skimp out on the portioning, yet true to their words it was LARGE. Our server was very kind, the food came out at a good time and overall a good experience with no complaints. It's a larger restaurant with indoor seating as well as outdoor seating when the weather permits I believe.

Not a bad Vietnamese food place. We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our orders to be taken. There was a good selection of Vietnamese dishes to choose from. The food was good! Decent taste and portions. The inside has a classier feel which is always a plus especially considering what the surrounding area outside looks like. Solid spot.

What a delicious meal! Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday! Convenient that they have a parking lot. The restaurant has a fair amount of seating and we came with a pretty large group. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is really tasty! Would love to come back and try their other items. My husband and I shared the 7 courses of beef. Really love the salad and the hot pot one but the other minced beef meat things were tasty but didn't blow our minds. We would probably opt to order just their other menu items next time. I also got the pineapple mango lime non-alcoholic drink. I kind of expected juice but it tasted more like flavored syrups. Overall, really enjoyed the food and would love to come back again.

Truly enjoyed the short ribs rice platter, spring rolls (pork and shrimp), and Tamarind Tree noodle bowl. I came with a friend and we were busy talking and not reading the menu so I asked the server to recommend something and she suggested the short ribs which were amazing! Super flavorful and perfectly charred. The complimentary hot jasmine tea was also really delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive. I like that there is a big parking lot. The restaurant is a decent size, my only complaint is of the few people there, they sat everyone close together and I had trouble hearing my friend because the people around us were so close their conversations drowned ours out.

Always my favorite place to come! The food, service and ambience are so good. My favorite dishes are the beef short ribs, chili limeleaf chicken, egg rolls, and the eggplant. If you're in the mood for a cocktail, the tangerine martini or the spicy watermelon are really good. It gets busy, so plan ahead and make a reservation

The most authentic Vietnamese dishes Seattle has to offer. You will find soups you had from mom's cooking growing up, and dishes you can't get anywhere else. The service is sweet and kind. It's never been a full house when we go so they have always been so attentive. The parking is huge. It's a super hole on the wall. But you'll be glad you went. It's somewhat dark in the dining area. Bathrooms are super dark with black toilets. Food is amazing! Price is kind of steep.

Stumbled upon this gem which is located a few minutes drive outside of the main downtown area (Pike's Place). When looking at others' reviews, I was a little apprehensive about the service, but we didn't have any issues. The food came out pretty quickly, and I also liked that they give you tea. What we got: -Tamarind Rice Plate (5/5): this comes with a wide variety of items including an egg roll (stuffed to the brim and super crispy on the outside), prawn, pork, shrimp ball (which is on a stick of bamboo), rice, and pickled carrots. I ended up ordering a side of soup to eat with my rice which I'd highly recommend to add more flavor. -Pho (5/5): the meat is tender and the soup is so flavorful. -Stuffed Squid (5/5): I've never had anything like this before, and I've eaten a lot of Vietnamese food in my life. The inside is stuffed with pork and vermicelli, and the squid outside is super tender. Don't let the area deter you from eating here. When we first arrived, we were a little bit sketched out, but I promise it's worth it.

Very extensive authentic menu!

While exploring Washington state, we found this hidden gem. A bit hard to see from the street but once you walk through the parking lot you can see the modern designed entry way. Very authentic and was even recommended by a local when we asked for the best Vietnamese restaurant. The orders are large so you'll have left overs if you aren't with a large group :) I had the pork fried rice and let me tell you it was just as good the following day!!! You won't be disappointed dining here! We had a pretty early dinner and then walked back to the train station to go back into the city so I can't comment on night time hours. All I will say is there are a lot of homeless people everywhere, so I wouldn't recommend walking at night.

Came around 12:30 for brunch and ordered a variety of dishes. The meat didnt taste fresh and service was very slow. Food was overall okay.

The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, and even though their kitchen was backed up with orders, they did their best to serve us quickly and the food was still top notch. The marine-like atmosphere was also fun and made dinner really casual and enjoyable. We got some of the best sellers, the bo la lot, the ma la beef cheek noodles, and the Hokkien wok noodles, and they were all a hit. I enjoyed the different Asian-fusion dishes they had from different cultures as well as their wide selection of drinks. The dishes were all very rich and flavorful, and you get a good amount to share for the price. It was the perfect place to eat while chatting and catching up with a friend. As mentioned in other reviews, we also experienced a unique and relaxed atmosphere. They had some good local draft options to get started - which is good. We ordered the Bo La Lot Grilled Beed in Betel Leaf for an appetizer and we loved the combination of ingredients and taste. Our brides ordered the Chaca La Vong Wok Seared Tumeric Rockfish and they both enjoyed it. My son ordered the Pad Kee Mao and I went with the Reckless Fried Rice and we both devoured them! Our waitress (her name wasn't on the receipt) was outstanding....super friendly and patient with all of our questions regarding the menu.

I went here on a Saturday at 8pm with a party of four, and there was a small wait around the entrance with the dinner rush still going. Interior has a mix of brick, wood, tile and booth seats galore. Like a slightly brightly lit Asian bar in decor with odd notes here and there. Service was just alright. Staff were very minimal with their interactions with us and mostly left it to us to flag them when needed. We ordered a mix of items to share family style. The beef lamen was okay with the noodles having good chew, the beef flavorful, but the soup part was a tad too oily and too light on flavor. Thankfully, not too heavy on the salt. We got XLBs, fried wontons and they were just all okay too. The XLBs were lacking in flavor with both the broth and the meat. The fried wontons were crispy, but needed the sauce which came with it. There was nothing which was terrible and I definitely ate my fill and used the condiments to add more flavor where needed. There are many places where you can get great dumplings. And also many places with great noodles! Dumpling The Noodle has the quirk of doing both, but not well in either department despite the name. It does have a large menu, so you could consider this restaurant as a compromise with something for everyone. But I don't see myself having an inclination to suggest come back here if I'm in a group.

When you "line up", you will take a sheet of the selection menu and pencil to write down your order so you can put in your order as soon as you are seated. The table already has water so the waiter seated us, took our "order", serve and the next time we saw them was to pay the bill. Ramen is still good as I remember it, cooked to my preference as I've noted on my order. But I have to say the noodle volume seems to have shrunk. The bowl is definitely smaller than other places as well. The soup is nice -- rich and creamy

Good noodles, good chashu, and delicious broth on their "Original" ramen (which is pretty much Tonkotsu, I think). It's lacking in nothing. I also appreciate the way they structure the menu: most toppings are optional (like egg and seaweed) in exchange for a modest base price. Yet even when you add stuff back in, the sum is still reasonable, e.g. with added seaweed and a shot of extra noodles, my bowl came out right around $20 after tax/tip. Service is quick and courteous. This place has only one problem: the wait is damn eternal. I waited 50+ minutes, and the only reason I got in that _fast_ was because I came solo and qualified for counter seating. The couple ahead of me in line waited at least 90... and this was on a Monday! But that's hardly the restaurant's fault.

We got the preserved meat clay pot rice, salt and pepper fried fish filet, and beef brisket and wonton noodle soup. The clay pot rice was okay - the pricing is fair but the execution could be a bit better. I felt like the rice was a bit lacking in flavor, and they only have the standard soy sauce, not the ones in a sauce tray that is usually a bit sweeter. The salt and pepper fried fish filet was good - definitely recommend that for the taste and value. The noodle soup was also good - the wontons were okay but I loved the beef brisket. Noodles seem to be handmade as the texture is a bit uneven, but I appreciate these types of noodles more. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.
