This place is great and is definitely going to be a regular takeout place for us. Skewer and Lao bbq platters are awesome. And we liked the curries and fried rice too. The flavors hit the traditional Thai spot too, which is what we were looking for. The staff is super nice too. Pro tip is to get your take out order in early as they do get very busy and then it takes over an hour to get your food ready. read more

So happy we stumbled upon this gem! Amazing food! We will gladly drive 45 minutes to come here again.

If you enjoy Thai (and Laotian) cuisines...this is your spot. Be sure to get here quick, before word gets out! My family and I sampled quite a few items. The standouts were the drunken noodles, the pad Thai, and the Panang curry. Honestly, the pad Thai was some of the best I've ever had, and I LOVED the peanut flavor in the curry. We also tried the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and basil fried rice, all of which were good, but didn't come anywhere close to the amazing flavors of the other dishes. The portions are very generous. An order of pad Thai is easily enough to feed two people, especially when paired with an app. Sweet Basil has definitely shot to the top of our "Asian Favorites" list. read more

This little gem was absolutely wonderful! Came to visit family and thought we'd try this place & I'm glad we did! My family is new to the area, so we wanted to try some local places (when I'm out of town I only go to places we don't have back home). Everything we ordered was delicious and the food was ready quickly! We will definitely be back when we return! read more

I was excited for their opening and kept reading positive reviews online, and news articles raving so I am thrilled that I was finally able to order. Online orders were already full for the evening, so it suggested to call. I called and easily placed an order for 2 things of their Fresh Veggie Spring Rolls. Oh. My. Goodness! These are AMAZING! The peanut sauce is very tasty and it has a little spice to it, delicious. This first order will definitely not be the last, just was really looking forward to trying these. I'm a very happy customer. Looking forward to future visits, sometime in person! Thank you for the great customer service and easy curbside pickup. Keep up the good work, so happy you're here! read more

The food here is on point, haven't had Thai food this good in a long time. I'm definitely making this place my new favorite.

I had a very tasty yellow curry meal, and there was plenty of it! The ambiance was sassy modern, with ordering at the counter (and tipping in advance, which was weird). The dining process was a little unusual, in that you picked up your plasticware, napkins and ohashi at a station on your way back to a table. When the food comes, it is on a tray with just serving containers - I didn't think to grab a plate with my other things. No worries, it was just steps away. I enjoyed this meal and will return in the future. read more

Good food, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. I'm not local. I travel for work and visit many restaurants. Really enjoyed.

Really good Thai street food. Went with work colleagues since we were in town on Valentine's Day which might've been why it was so busy. It's not a sit down restaurant but a place where you order at the counter and find a table to sit at. We didn't all order our food at the same time but the person at the counter waited until we all ordered so we could get our food out at the same time. Good service but took almost 45 min to get our food which we were warned about. It was worth it tho since the food came out piping hot and delicious. Ordered the wings, summer rolls, the appetizer steak which...don't skip out on these! (Or the wings). The drunken noodles and the pad Thai. Will be coming back on my next trip to Franklin. read more

New to Wisconsin and I'm always looking to find spots I can come back to. This is the spot to be. I ordered take out on a Saturday night. Wait time was long, but the website gives notice since this place is so busy. Order was ready right at the time provided. Place was packed when I came to pick up. Food was great. There are no local boba places as I am a huge boba fan. They have Thai tea here which is amazing. I've come here on diff occasions just to pick up Thai tea. Def keeping this place as a regular go to. If you are thinking of trying this place. I'd stop by. If you don't mind waiting during peak hours then be my guest. But if you don't like busy, I'd suggest take out or coming closer to when they open around 3pm or a little before dinner rush read more

Absolutely delicious. I want to keep eating, but I cannot. The bbq platter, sticky rice, combo fried rice, crab rangoon, and chicken wings were to die for. Will be back again. The sauces were incredible as well. This pretty much took the top spot for us for Asian food. Do yourself a favor and get this today! read more

Our group of three ate here on Saturday night. It's not a huge space. We were able to snag seats at the counter by the window. Order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. We had the Lao sausage - delicious! I ordered a medium spice papaya salad - the spice really creeps up on you. Stick rice, pad kee mauw and pad thai. We really enjoyed all the dishes. The staff was friendly. Would definitely eat here again. read more

This little gem offers Lao sausage that I've only ever tasted once before and been looking for since. I must say that it did not disappoint. The papaya salad had a well-balanced flavor and the pad Thai was quite good. read more

Some of the best Thai food I've gotten in Wisconsin. As soon as I came in, we were greeted by an employee who gave us a run through of the menu. He was very kind. The inside was also quite nice... a modern look sort of? I don't know how to describe it, but the inside is definitely to cater to younger people. The music was definitely some stuff you'd hear on Tiktok. Overall, very good experience and the food was very tasty. I'd recommend this place to anyone! (Also, don't chicken out on the spice levels... I got the 5 and it wasn't spicy at all) read more

The best Thai food around! I love the pad Thai, fried rice, penang curry & vegetable egg rolls, their Tom Kha soup is really good too. Flavor is always on point and fresh in every dish I tried. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. They do get really busy dinner time so plan accordingly. read more

Everything was great! Great staff, great food. Food was ready on time. Very good experience. Will definitely be back.

Really great recipes and super authentic. I will definitely be back again soon! The idea of getting your food brought to your table was great. The small setting restaurant was great for a nice meal date. read more

The food was delicious. I got the chicken fried rice, spicy. They made it a level two and I wished I would have gotten it a little more spicy. The only issue I had with the food was that the onion and carrot chops were large and I think they should have been diced or smaller so they could have been in every bite. I also didn't think they put enough egg in the dish, which is one of my favorite parts of fried rice. This place was still in my top three spots for Thai food and I would definitely go back there again to try more of their menu. read more

We are visiting Milwaukee for a youth baseball tournament. Wanting something other than a burger, I looked for nearby restaurants with good Yelp reviews and found Sweet Basil. What a great discovery. We enjoy Thai food and this was better than we've had lately (in St. Louis). We ordered veggie and shrimp spring rolls, drunken noodles with chicken and the chicken Tom kha soup. All dishes were beautifully spiced and as ordered. The standout among all the tasty food was the soup! Best Tom Kha I have ever had. Great spice and wonderful flavor. Thank you! read more

Fantastic food!!! Love a great family owned business. They are doing a fantastic job and the food is AMAZING!!! We are eating our way through their menu. It a clean, small establishment but I really enjoy eating there. Your taste buds will be happy you went! read more

The food is ready when they say it will be ready and it's always delicious. It's one on our favorite carry-out places.

Food is average but they distinguish themselves by their service. Two weeks in a row I called in an order and was put on hold for over 15 minutes at which point they hung up on me. First time, maybe they are having a bad night. Second time a week later, this is just how they do business and treat their customers. read more

I've always gotten take out so far, and NEVER any complaints. It's always so yummy, fresh, and I always have some left overs for another meal the next day. Spring rolls are FIRE, so fresh. Love the tom kha soup too, good flavor. I typically get it every few weeks or so from craving it so much!! Majority of the time I have to wait because of how busy they are, but its all worth it! I would rather go to a place that has a line over no one. read more
