This visit we enjoyed their signature Xiao Long Bao (Shanghai Soup Dumplings), Szechuan Spicy Wontons, and Yãn Su Ji (Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Chicken), and each had a Sake Flight. While the Xiao Long Bao is quite good, it is not great principally because the dumpling wrappers are twice as thick as the best versions of this dish making them chewier and very doughy. They are also so large you cannot enjoy them in a single bite and inevitably need a small bowl for leakage as you're eating them because you will make such a mess. Naturally, you want the ball so you can drink the broth that ends up in it. The Szechuan Spicy Wontons have a wonderful seasoning and sauce, but frequently are overcooked so the wrappers are a little too soft and mushy. I prefer them slightly al dente. The Salt and Pepper Chicken is consistently the best executed dish I've had there. Also known as Taiwanese, popcorn chicken, these bite-size lean pieces of chicken are perfectly fried and satisfying crispy. We were both surprised with how much we liked each sampling in our Sake Flight -- $12 (5oz) they went from dry to sweet as you would expect, and our biggest surprise was how much we liked the sweetest variety. Here are the three that were a part of our flight Kenbishi Kuromatsu, Gekkeikan Traditional, & Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass Nigori. An additional note, the service is generally exceptional, but the hostess stand tends to treat you as a customer to be processed not a guest to be welcomed. The interior is very basic. The tables are comfortably spaced by distance, but the bench seating is too crowded. Getting up to use the restroom feels like you're on an airplane where you're uncomfortably close to other diners. Menu details Momo Mee's Famous Xiao Long Bao $17 (Shanghai Soup Dumplings) This unique dish is filled with pork and simmered with homemade broth inside our handmade dough. Amazing food, but what stood out most was how they handled my son's shellfish allergy. Finding an Asian restaurant that can safely accommodate this allergy is incredibly rare, and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Everything we ordered from the dumplings to the noodle and rice dishes was delicious. Reservations online are recommended as it id very busy. We'll definitely be back!

Can't believe this place doesn't have 5 stars across the board. The food is so delicious & the service is incredible. The photos speak for themselves, yum!!

You heard it here first folks, Momo Mee has the best crispy orange beef in Milwaukee!! Holy crunch, holy sauce, holy delicious! I will be craving that for the next 10-15 business days. First time having soup dumplings and wow were the tasty!! I liked them more than David but that's only because he doesn't like working for his food. I didn't mind because it was kinda fun drinking the soup first and then eating the dumpling part. My least favorite was the spicy noodles. However they were David's favorite! I think I was expecting more of a pad thai flavor, for some reason, so was a little let down by it. However, that's on me and they were still delicious! Just personally wouldn't order again. Beware the inside is pretty small/tight and always busy! But the service was great and our food came pretty quick! We sat at the bar which is always fun.

We LOVE MoMo Mee. It is definitely one of our favorite places for a date-night dinner in Milwaukee. If you go to MoMo Mee, come hungry because you do not want to miss anything: appetizers, drinks, entrees, and desserts! We've had many appetizers and our favorite is the Xiao Bao Buns. The soup dumplings are so decadent and flavorful. We 10/10 highly recommend! I've had many drinks and they are all great! Tonight I had the MO Fashioned and it was a scrumptious take on an Old Fashioned! Not too sweet or too dry. Just right! They have a great beer, wine, and cocktail list. We've had so many entrees and there is not a bad meal in the bunch. Some of our favorites include the Mongolian beef, kimchi beef fried rice in stone pot, Korean spicy noodles, and spicy orange beef. Yum! Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. The staff are all warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space is clean and inviting. I highly recommend getting a reservation in advance. Since they are SO DELICIOUS, it is a popular place. Having a reservation ensures a shorter wait time. MoMo Mee has our hearts' and stomachs' devotion. If you've never been, we recommend you go asap!

If you come to momo me definitely have a reservation if you can or you may be waiting. I expected it to be bigger on the inside but it's actually quite small. The drinks were great but I got a passion margarita and it was perfect. For appetizers we got the Cheese momo and the Thai chili sauce was fantastic. We also got the potstickers which was stuffed with more of a pork sausage type of meat. It was not exactly what I expected and would have enjoyed the meat if it was minced. For dinner I got the crispy orange beef and the texture was fantastic. But it was not spicy at all. It had a pepper on the menu next to it to indicate spicy and it was not that. It was very good but a little too sweet to eat in one sitting. I also got the MoMo Mee's Famous Xiao Long Bao and it was nice and hot. It tasted like a normal dumpling but still good. Overall great service.

I went back and tried the Japchae for lunch, so tasty I emptied the plate and no leftovers. Service was good, reasonable time to get the food. Nice vibe!

Whenever in the city, we open Yelp and find something new. We stopped here Friday just before 5 it was busy, and with no reservation, we sat at the bar. Not pictured was the thai tea and it was wonderful. Mo was a delightful bartender. Both meats were incredibly tender. And if you are new to soup dumplings, ask your server for a tutorial-very helpful.

I love Momo Mee! It is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in the city as there are options spanning Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisines. You can usually walk in and get seated within 10-30 minutes. The ambiance inside the restaurant is also quite nice. I always get their Korean Spicy Noodles which always tastes delicious. The restaurant also provides a good portion size so the food always lasts for an extra meal. Overall this is a great choice if you are craving for Asian bites.

We dined in at Momo Mee and the place was bustling, which is always a great sign and it definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered the Szechuan spicy wings, dumplings, and crispy spring rolls, and everything came out fast, hot, and full of flavor. It was so good we even ordered the crispy orange beef to go. The service was quick and helpful, and the restaurant was clean, well lit, and welcoming. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the mood for Asian

This place is always packed which was a good sign. We went here twice. I would recommend the dumplings but other than that, the food was really underwhelming. Tried their special noodle dish and it was not worth the price. It's good for a larger group to hangout because of the ambiance of homely feel but I wouldn't recommend for the food as much.

Ambiance: casual place with plenty of seating offered Service: good service - nothing to complain about! they were super quick here Food: we got a few different dishes here. We got the pork belly bao buns, Singaporean noodles, xiao long bao dumplings, shao mai, and bun cha gio. I wasn't really a fan of both dumplings - the shao mai was salty & the wrap on the xiao long bao was thick. Once the xiao long bao cooled off, it was salty too. We got the pork belly bao bun and the meat was dry. If the meat wasn't so dry, I would've enjoyed this more cause the flavors were good. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the Singaporean noodles. I would get this again! The bun cha gio was also good.

The best place in Milwaukee to get dumplings. After going to Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas I was looking for something similar, but I could not for the life of me find soup dumplings anywhere in Milwaukee until I stumbled upon Momo Mee! Service is good, no concerns. Tons of seating and they take reservations. Kind of an awkward spot in the building it's in, but once you step inside you don't even realize you are in a "strip-mall-esque" spot.

my favorite place everrrrr love love love. Couldn't recommend more!

Ask the Community - Momo Mee

    Gluten free options?

I know they have vegan options but I'm not sure if they have other gluten-free options

Is there a broth for the mee that is vegan?

Yes, there is. We have house-made vegetable broth for vegan. We hope to see you soon. Thank you.

    Are there any vegetarian momos?

They have veggie dumplings on their menu. It has Chinese greens, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, vermicelli noodles and pickled daikon. I've never tried them, but they sound good.

Do they have a gluten free menu? Or options?

Rice is gluten free. Rice noodles are gluten free. There isn't likely to be any contamination if you call ahead of time and explain that you have Celiac's and you have to be treated carefully to prevent wheat contamination. Fad diet? doesn't matte

We had the artichoke dip appetizer, which is warm and gooey and delicious. We also split a salad and the chicken and waffles since it was brunch time. Very tasty! From visit on: 2/8/26 - late review!…read more My date and I were so excited to try the Eggs Benedict flight. We had reservations for Sunday at 11. Our server was very kind, great atmosphere in the place as well. We ordered a side of the potatoes and they came out nice and hot. Unfortunately, both of our Eggs Benedict flights were lukewarm at best, from the first bite. My date made a comment to the server and she offered to reheat. We initially declined but within a minute changed our mind. Our server was understanding and quickly brought over an extra flight (which I saw her bring from the heating lamps). This plate was also the same temperature. I really don't like to leave neutral or negative reviews, but it's unfortunate to spend money and have a less than par experience on the food we were looking forward to eating. We did take a small box to go and the crab cake heated up later was very delicious, but just not the same as if we had been given a hot meal to start at the restaurant. I've eaten here for dinner and was super impressed with the serving size, but I don't think I'd come back for brunch.
