Momo mee is a great place with wonderful and kind staff. I know for many people they have their favorite food and delicious dumplings! If you are celiac or gluten-free, I don't recommend ever eating here. While they have a dedicated gluten-free menu with options for changing things out, on two separate occasions (of the 4 times I've been there) they've made a mistake. It puts you in a challenging and uncomfortable situation when you are curious about something actually being gluten-free. I know for myself, you don't want to insinuate that you don't trust your server! My most recent visit there I had the shittake/vegetable Ramen with rice noodles. I explained that I can't have soy sauce because it contains wheat. I explained that if they have tamari that they could check if it is wheat free because I often can have tamari instead of soy sauce. I explained that I can't have anything that contains wheat. My server informed me that she would make sure that this was gluten-free, that the rice noodles would be replacing the Ramen noodles. While eating I was curious if the noodles were not gluten-free, and I was informed that they do seem to be rice noodles. We were also sure to order the tofu as steamed rather than fried so that it would not have cross-contamination. (Due to first glutened experience) Later that night and the following day I can report that what I ate was not in fact, rice noodles or gluten free, and I have been glutened. On a previous occasion, I ordered the fresh spring rolls with a sauce that I was informed was gluten-free with tofu. While already eating this, the server came over and informed me that the tofu was not gluten-free, and had been fried. I think that there may be some lack of understanding what gluten-free means and how it impacts people generally in most of the food service industry. I believe they did their best to try to accommodate. That being said if you are celiac or gluten intolerant, please steer clear! Very unfortunate because it was tasty. I understand that as someone who needs to eat gluten-free that I am taking a risk by eating at a restaurant that is not gluten-free forward. this is my 2nd time here. It's quite small inside. But cute decorations. First time was AMAZING. Truly a disappointment coming back again and the food was not good and the service was okay only. Spicy wonton. I came back for this but was not happy with it. It was SOUPY, in a watery sauce and the wontons were clearly overcooked, all the fillings came out of their wrappers. Tonkatsu was no where close to how it's suppose to taste. It was watery, not thick and did not have that brothy pork flavor. The drinks were great but I got a passion margarita and it was perfect. For appetizers we got the Cheese momo and the Thai chili sauce was fantastic. We also got the potstickers which was stuffed with more of a pork sausage type of meat. It was not exactly what I expected and would have enjoyed the meat if it was minced. For dinner I got the crispy orange beef and the texture was fantastic. But it was not spicy at all. It had a pepper on the menu next to it to indicate spicy and it was not that. It was very good but a little too sweet to eat in one sitting. I also got the MoMo Mee's Famous Xiao Long Bao and it was nice and hot. It tasted like a normal dumpling but still good. Came here for the first time just to try something new. It was very busy here. We definitely have to wait a bit. Once succeeded for appetizer, we ordered the Taiwan twister wasn't really sure what to expect . It was pretty much potatoes spiraled on a skewer stick with a cumin aïoli, which was pretty good. For my main meal, I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp which came with white rice . Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this meal at all. It was fairly dry. I wish I had some sort of sauce to help make this more palatable. My boyfriend ordered the orange crispy beef, and he shared some with me to help me eat my food since his dish has sauce. It was very good, but the orange flavor does get a little overpowering after a while. The portions are fairly large, so we both didn't really finish our meals. The service is great. The waiter is very loud but super friendly! Definitely enjoyed the vibe haha. I'm leaving a four star even though we didn't really enjoy our meals. The place is great. My wife and I split everything; started with the Korean beef gua bao which was so fun to eat, beef a little spicy but not bad. Then we had the xiao long bao which they're famous for and it was probably the highlight of the night. Very flavorful broth combined well with the pork and dumpling. First time coming here! We were lucky that we were able to get seated right away without a reservation as the place was BUSTLING on a Tuesday evening. Even the bar counter was busy. The waiter sat us right away and I loved that they took our drink order asap without us flagging them down. While we had our Thai tea it was just super nice that everyone at the restaurant seemed to like working there and the customers were all having fun so it was a chill atmosphere, not anything too formal. Ok, Momo Mee you have my attention. What's not to love about a fairly authentic Asian fusion place serving up a range of cuisines. We started with the Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and they were delish. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and as the sever brought it out, I immediately noticed the three very large and thick chunks of chasu and the two halves of soft boiled eggs. The chasu was delish but there was a bit of fat that needed to be avoided. The eggs were nicely soft boiled. There was also bamboo, a little bit of corn, some wood ear mushrooms and a nice piece of nori. Overall very good toppings. The noodles were a bit clumped together on the bottom of the bowl, which is unfortunate. The broth definitely had a very pork forward taste which I would expect, but it could have been creamier. So a pretty good bowl of ramen but it could be better. Service was efficient. Ambiance is a little loud when the dining room is full (which it was on a nice Sunday night), I see they also have patio seating and a bar. I'm interested to try more of their menu. read more

Our Saturday night party of 8 went here after a recommendation, and we were blown away at how amazing everything was! Although walk-ins are accepted, I would highly recommend making a reservation. While we were eating, people were bunching up waiting inside and outside. Our party was seated at a long, narrow hightop table right next to the front window. The close proximity to the bar area meant we were seated very close to one another. Once drinks, appetizers and entrees were delivered, the space felt even tighter. Still, we made it work. We began with the Xiao Long Bao Soup Dumplings which, yes, were dumplings with soup inside. I have zero idea how they can pull this off, but they were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend them! Just make sure you take that first bite over a plate and not your nice clothes ;) Having never tried Szechuan, I ordered the Szechuan Mala as my entree, which came in a clay pot. The beef was tender, the vegetables crispy and the sauce thick and spicy. Savory at it's finest! Sampling off each other's dishes, I can honestly say everyone enjoyed everything. There was not one dish that disappointed, and by the end of our meal we were all more than satisfied. However, we still had to try the Fried Mantou which was the perfect way to round our meal. Hot and crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside. Think donut holes but much, much better. Good service, great food and an intimate atmosphere make this a must visit spot!
