For food, we split the cheese curds, hummus, and BBQ pork Mac and cheese. The cheese curds were extra crispy and I loved the garlic Parmesan seasoning. The chive crema served alongside was herby, creamy, and unique, giving a refreshing contrast. I enjoyed the selection of veggies with the hummus and the grilled garlic naan was delicious, though the hummus itself did taste just like the Sabra red pepper kind that you could buy in a store. However, the Mac and cheese absolutely stole the show- it was decadently cheesy with a wonderful white cheddar sauce, and the pork itself was slightly sweet and super tender. The scallions and jalapeños completed the picture perfectly. Would definitely recommend ordering this. The bartender taking our orders was also super nice and even brought a complimentary pour due to the wait for the second round, which we'd not mentioned at all. You dont have to buy - so it's free but if you buy a drink at the actual "beer garden" stand, theres free popcorn with your purchase. Theres also various drink and food stands .. auntie Annie's has a pretzel truck and lots of people were bringing pizza from Brick 3 on 3rd st. Security (you'll see them in bright yellow vests) has done a good job letting everyone have a good time but taking care of problems (dont be8 standing on the picnic tables please.) I've only watched away games here but walking through the area to go into the forum for game 1 of the semi finals I could tell the energy would be crazy there even for home games. it's a great option if you dont have a ticket. I did confirm with the server, and she did say it was Brazil. It was good, just unexpected. The Honduras drip was also good, but more bold and less acidic than the Brazil. Interesting. Prices were sweet - just over $2 for a small coffee, and $4 for a pour over. Not sure how many shots go in the lattes per size, but I stopped asking by this time. We aren't really quizzo people but I went up and asked if we could just do maybe the first of the 6 rounds. The cost was $1 per person - and she told me the child is free. (Jokes on her bc 11 year olds know a lot more random trivia than I do). We had so much fun that we stayed the whole time. Side note: it seemed like a lot of groups were cheating around us. But we were legit playing w no devices... hence we lost haha. Also while we played trivia they had The Breakfast Club on silently in the background - so fun!!! The food and drink were just as evocative. I had the pork schnitzel with mushroom gravy and pomme frites. My grandson ordered the currywurst (fried sausage in a delicious curry-tomato sauce). My wife went vegetarian with rotkraus (roasted red cabbage) and kartoffelsalat (warm German potato salad). All of the food was outstanding. I paired my meal with a liter stein of true German Dunkel.
