But since I wasn't getting the happy hour special, I had a Piña colada. It was amazing, the bartender Blair made it to perfection. And I could quite literally say it was the cherry on top to my day. The wings are spectacular so they were a must. And I may be teetering on the scale to say that the dry rub is my favorite instead of the classic bbq. I also tried their fried pickle fries for the first time, I was skeptical since I'm not a fan of Texas Roadhouse fried pickles. Nope these could easily be a swap for regular fries. Not to mention these pickles remind me of the fresh pickles you buy from the fridge at the grocery store. Line dancing was a hit, another mixed crowd. Pleasant energetic and welcoming atmosphere. Even the host and waiters seem to hype it up, particularly if you come in with cowgirl boots. They opened up the garage door that let in a perfect breeze and the view was spectacular since it was a clear sunny forecast of a day.

Last night, a Saturday night, we planned our day around ending at On Tap and having a pizza. We arrived at 10:45pm and the bartender informed us that the kitchen was closed. I said, "well, the website mentions the late night pizza menu.". He said "we don't do that anymore.". If you are planning to eat at On Tap at the end of your evening, you may be out of luck, which is unfortunate because the pizza is really good.

Big screen TV on the front wall and a whole lot of area to post up and chillax. We caught game 1 of the Bucks against the Celtics and found ourselves in the midst of a serious throw down happening here. Despite the long lines, we found beers and we enjoyed every minute of the game on the big screen in style! Milwaukee style! I love going to the game but something about being outdoors in the Beer Garden in front of the area that made it super special. The energy was unmatched and I was completely blown away that this venue is free to the general public to get in. Not sure if it gets much better than that. I'll be back again to check this mecca of Milwaukee out again!

I love the historic feel, I loved the coffee, I loved rustic veggie quiche I enjoyed while I was in. Love, love love. We stopped by on a Sunday morning. There weren't too busy when we arrived but became more so as the morning advanced. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte made with almond milk. They use their own spice blend and it makes for a lovely beverage. I feel like so many pumpkin spiced lattes are just a lot of nutmeg or cinnamon but theirs is a beautiful blend--I definitely tasted clove in there as well. Just lovely! For my breakfast, I got the veggie quiche, which was a delight. We took our meal and brought it out to the courtyard since it was an unseasonably warm October morning. What a beautiful space they have here. We just kept gazing up at the beautiful brick and sunshine. This is definitely a new favorite. We wanted to sit at the bar, but the bar was busy, so we grabbed a table in the other room and the bartender came to us about 4 minutes later and said there were 2 spots at the bar! So, we moved to the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the next 3 hours - we might still be there, if it wasn't for the Brewers game we had tickets to! We enjoyed several different beers on tap, talked with the bartenders - specifically Mitch and Sarah and of course the other people at the bar. We enjoyed the OGBH Brat - for sure the best brat I have ever had. The bun is perfectly warm and toasty, the brat is delicious and full of flavor and of course, it's snappy! The food was available for $5 Which was a traditional German Bratwurst , German potatoes, German Baked beans and German sauerkraut, served by..... Bubs Big Texas Style BBQ. They had 4 types of Oktoberfest brews I had Lakefront brewery Oktoberfest and by my guess it mist have been very popular since that stick was removed near the end of the night. Beer was $2-3 a pint or you could get a certificate package that includes a commemorative pint glass, 1 grand raffle, 10 general raffles 1 meal ticket. What a great time for all ages. Music came from a wide variety of performers from. Polka, waltzing accordion player Erick , acoustic folk, DJ spinning his mobile collection of you pick and play. Met Ron R. and Stephanie R.
