Great little coffee shop. Thought it was just part of the Pabst tour and a tourist trap, but best breakfast bagel I had. Coffee was good. Cool location and spot. Couldn't fault it. read more

Very historic, Milwaukee, Pabst. Lovely historic vibes. Service is not friendly, but fast and efficient. I think it was close to closing and they were annoyed that I wanted to linger and ask questions. Cuz I like to ask my coffee questions, especially when in a place for the first time. They did try to hide their annoyance and stayed sort of professional. Coffee was good, but unexpected. The Brazil pour over was interestingly acidic, which was not what I expected from a Brazil. I did confirm with the server, and she did say it was Brazil. It was good, just unexpected. The Honduras drip was also good, but more bold and less acidic than the Brazil. Interesting. Prices were sweet - just over $2 for a small coffee, and $4 for a pour over. Not sure how many shots go in the lattes per size, but I stopped asking by this time. I'm much more interested in trying their espresso tonic or other spirit coffee drinks. Oh wait, as I'm looking through my photos. Just realized that their small and medium sizes will give you double shots, and their large a quad shot. It's written on their cups. I'm learning to be observant here instead of asking, lol. As I'm writing this, I'm reminded of a ticktock video of different generation servers in coffee shops... with Gen-Z servers getting questions and pointing to the answers. This is exactly what happened and I'm feeling so old. lol. read more

I had to go to the courthouse this morning and I stopped at Best Place Coffee & Spirits for a latte. It was only a 0.2 mile walk! Very easy. The architecture of the building is stunning, my vanilla latte was delicious, and the staff were very friendly! What a beautiful and unique spot to enjoy a coffee or tea! And a great location- tons of cream city brick in the area and old architecture to see. read more

I was really surprised by this place, not sure if its own by the same people who run the Pabst tours - I thought it was going to be a shitty tourist coffee shop but its a really nice coffee shop in a historical building. The coffee was good and they have breakfast bagels which came out really good as well. Was probably our best breakfast in town! read more

This might be one of the coolest coffee spots in MKE. It looks like a castle on the outside and a warm medieval inn on the inside. The girl running the show was super happy, even with a line that was nearly out the door. The coffee was pretty good, not the best I've had in Milwaukee, but the overall vibes of the place make it one of my favorites. They even have an outdoor seating area with an old statue. Pretty cool experience!! read more

I have zero clue how it's taken me 8 years of living in Milwaukee to stop by here but here we are. Wonderful. I love the historic feel, I loved the coffee, I loved rustic veggie quiche I enjoyed while I was in. Love, love love. We stopped by on a Sunday morning. There weren't too busy when we arrived but became more so as the morning advanced. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte made with almond milk. They use their own spice blend and it makes for a lovely beverage. I feel like so many pumpkin spiced lattes are just a lot of nutmeg or cinnamon but theirs is a beautiful blend--I definitely tasted clove in there as well. Just lovely! For my breakfast, I got the veggie quiche, which was a delight. We took our meal and brought it out to the courtyard since it was an unseasonably warm October morning. What a beautiful space they have here. We just kept gazing up at the beautiful brick and sunshine. This is definitely a new favorite. The baristas hustle, the atmosphere is divine, and the coffee and bites are exemplary. Get to it! read more

Great little unique coffeeshop with a beautiful courtyard and a killer espresso tonic. I was staying nearby and the hotel coffee was...hotel coffee, so I was glad to find a spot so close that has such character. The whole time I couldn't help but wonder where we've gone wrong architecturally, from the time the surrounding buildings went up until now. It's stunning.. the attention to detail, the pride and craftsmanship. Really a bygone era, but glad it's so well constructed to be enjoyed all these years later. As far as the drinks, the espresso tonic was killer. KILLER. As good as it gets, and I think I love these in general, but this was such a good one. Kind of slightly sweet, supercharged, and very flavorful. I will be returning on my second day of my MKE stay and ordering literally the same thing. Great spot! read more

Such a unique coffee shop! And one I often forget about if I'm honest, but in a recent visit to the brewery district for a meeting I was reminded of its charm. Tucked into Pabst Best Place building, it boasts of old architecture. The ceilings and dark woodwork give it a very cozy vibe. My favorite part though is the little courtyard attached. Service wasn't the most friendly, but the coffee was delish! I went with the pumpkin spice latte, which was on their seasonal menu among other really tasty-sounding options. It wasn't too sweet and had the perfect amount of "spice" if that even makes sense. Would definitely order again. They've got tons on their menu here, including teas, beers, seltzers, and spirits. So whether you're here for the Pabst tours, gift shops, or just in the area, this is a good place to stop. read more

Best place coffee is located in the Pabst Brewery complex area giving it that very history, classic, and homie vibe. I like that they have indoor seating with a lot of natural lighting and courtyard seat seating options. I stopped in for a vanilla latte and muffin, both of which were really good. Staff were also super friendly. They do have specialty drinks/spirits that I would also love to come back and try out. Would definitely recommend checking it out! read more

The architecture at the Best Place has an old world, historic feel. When you're sitting in the patio, it honestly doesn't feel like you are in Milwaukee because you can see castle turrets towering over. The seasonal drinks here are one of my favorites because they aren't overly sweet but hit the mark with the name and taste matching. I got a cookie butter latte with oat milk which is a great combo. It's so delicious and creamy, I got it hot and iced and personally prefer it hot. Their cranberry, lemon and ginger scone is perfect, not too crumbly and all the flavors work well together. Every time I go in, the service is great. Very friendly staff and helpful. One of my favorite coffee shops! read more

So much charm packed inside this little coffee shop. The ceilings! The stained-glass windows! The wood!! I imagine on a snowy day there is no cozier place to be. I stopped by on a fall day which was equally magical. I decided to try the cookie butter latte to stick with the fall spirit. My only qualm was that the flavoring was very sweet -- perhaps this is just a me thing but it was a lot. My friend tried the cardamon & sage latte and they tasted very similar despite very different names/descriptions which I thought was odd. Next time I'm in Milwaukee I will definitely come back to explore more of the menu and soak up the cute little patio! read more

First of all, the place is in a beautiful building that looks straight out of Europe. The inside is historic and cozy. Perfect space for a little coffee shop! Staff were very friendly and enjoyed the feel to the overall space while I was there. There is a little courtyard to sit out in too. I went in the morning. Coffee was good. Recommend if you're in the brewery district area. read more

This charming little cafe was the place I visited the most during my recent trip to Wisconsin. It was near my hotel and to the only place in the area that served matcha lemonade (which can be really hard to find sometimes). Said matcha lemonade was actually a spritz and it was fantastic. I loved it so much that I asked them for the recipe and they were kind enough to share it. Beyond how good my matcha lemonade spritz, I also loved their courtyard. It felt historical and quaint. I'm glad I had the chance to visit here and that I got a little piece of the cafe to take back home with me. read more

Really cute coffee shop in the center of Pabst town! It is pet friendly so we brought our pup. The inside of the coffee shop has stained glass windows, and even pbr coffee. They had a bunch of seasonal options as well as a few pastries. We ended up getting the quiche, and a bagel, along with a hot coffee & their seasonal latte. We enjoyed our goodies on the patio which has some fun tables to enjoy outside but still covered if the sun is too hot or the weather is iffy. We'll definitely be back when in the area! read more

I love stopping by at Best Place! The baristas are always super friendly and kind, the drinks are always perfectly made and taste great, and the best part is that it's only a two minute walk from my apartment. My go to recently has been their orange matcha latte w/ oat milk, which is on their summer menu! The cherry vanilla cold brew is just as good. They also offer a variety of bagels and sweet treats. They have seating inside and seating outside in their cute little courtyard. I definitely recommend checking them out! read more

Cute corner coffee shop in the Pabst brewery. Very nostalgic with PBR stained glass windows, merch for sale, and old tyme decor. The late afternoon was a quiet time. We split a cinnamon cookie and enjoyed a special pistachio mint latte and orange thyme matcha and were able to sub in oat milk. Our friend ordered a honey badger latte and deemed it too sweet. read more

The staff are very friendly and sweet. The atmosphere is cozy and great to study in. The seasonal drinks are fun.

Jury duty? If so, you should consider this coffee shop in the Pabst brewery (entrance is around the corner, not on 9th as my GPS guided me). Great atmosphere, beautiful stained glass and a lovely courtyard in which to sit. Coffee is high quality (I had a latte with cardamom and thyme from syrups they made in house) and they have lunch as well. The best part of jury duty for sure! read more

We really enjoyed the chill vibes and liked the historic classy decor and the super friendly barista here. I think the coffee is not like wow but decent. The seasonal espresso tonic was pretty sweet and the coffee taste was covered by other add-ins completely. The honey badger latte was nicely done - creamy and flavorful. The foam was frothed to a bit too thick and made it feel like a Cappuccino to me though haha. It was great to have a coffee shop that serves a variety of coffee drinks and opens every day at the historic Pabst brewery. We recommend you to make a stop here if you are looking for a unique coffee shop in Milwaukee. Parking is not difficult when it's not at happy hour or around dinner time in this area I think (which is good for getting coffee). read more

This little shop was the highlight of our weekend getaway. It's so cute, and the building it's in is so cool. Each time we went (we made our way there a few times over the weekend) the baristas were so nice. The second time we went one of the machines was broken, but they were so super apologetic about it, and when they got it fixed, they came out to the courtyard where we were sitting and let us know, which was really nice of them. Each time we went, I got the same drink: the honey badger (iced). It's vanilla, honey, cinnamon, espresso, & steamed milk. It was the perfect blend of spice, sweet, and espresso flavors. This is a very cute little shop that's worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood, with good coffee to match. read more

I love coming to wisconsin and getting myself a nice pretzel, this is a very special place for those coffee lovers.

This is such a cool spot to grab drinks. The history and architecture create a really unique ambience that can't be replicated. My husband and I tried the rosemary honey latte and salted caramel with maple latte. Both were made using house made syrups (big plus) and delicious. We'll definitely be adding this to our regular stops, and as the weather permits, taking advantage of the the courtyard. Delicious coffee, awesome ambience and super friendly owner! read more

Stopped by on our way out of town after a wedding. We were the only two people who had ordered anything (there was one couple seated iwht their drinks). It took the barista 15 minutes to get us our coffee-- there were two people working behind the counter and they were just chatting instead of preparing the drinks. It was weird...and the coffee wasn't hot. The place on the outside looked cute, but won't be going back. read more

I feel like I'm betraying a good friend who told me to keep this place a secret. This used to be the gift shop but now it's the perfect coffee place, it's historic, beautiful, and until more people read the Yelp reviews, peaceful and underutilized. The staff is excellent except for the dog. The dog is enthusiastic and friendly but won't take my order because he's too busy trying to get petted. I don't think he even knows how to make coffee. They have some cool coffee cups for sale. It really is the best place for an espresso anywhere around here. read more

Best Place us across from my work, so it's definitely a convenient place to pop into. I usually like to go in for a bagel, but the last 5 or so times I have been there, they haven't had any bagels or only one flavor (either blueberry or some other fruit) that I don't really care for. When they do not have good bagel options, I usually get an iced Honey Badger. It's $5 for an 8oz drink, which is kind of a lot especially when it's mostly ice. My biggest complaint there is that I went with a friend who ordered a 12oz, and theirs was also $5, so I'm guessing I've been getting mischarged. Either way the service is friendly, drinks taste good, and it's in a convenient location. read more

Trying to infuse ourselves with a little cool by weekending in the brewery district (jk, here for a wedding), and of course morning after a celebration, we need coffee. Queue the most charming place to get said coffee in the area. Honestly, wish I lived nearby just to say this is "my coffee place." They have a rotating craft beverage menu! I tried the specialty golden latte and the honey badger. Simple yet decadent because of their preparation. Smooth and earthy. The froth and ratios with milk, coffee and spices were perfect!
