I was in Milwaukee for work and decided to stop by canary coffee bar for my afternoon coffee. I ordered a simple latte with almond milk but it was delicious, not your regular latte! The coffee bar has a good ambiance and I could totally see myself working from here if lived in this neighborhood!

Canary has been my go to coffee shop to study! I appreciate that they're open until 9pm, which is a lot later compared to the other coffee shops nearby. They have your staple classic coffee drinks, but they also have a seasonal menu with more experimental options and a variety of sweet treats too! The baristas are always super friendly and helpful if you're not sure on what to order. It definitely does get busy during the weekends and weekdays around 5pm, so definitely plan ahead as parking can be sparse.

super cute location with big windows and high ceilings. good study spot with decent seating options. the pistachio coffee was alright, but the orange peel dominated the entire flavor. i learned that i'm not a fan of chimichurri at all lol but avocado toast was okay too. the music started getting way too loud inside.

Pretty basic menu aside from their seasonal menu, which is really what made it shine. So many fun options to try. The rose & pistachio latte was very subtle with the rose but a pretty straightforward latte otherwise. I was expecting it to be more crowded but it wasn't too bad on a late sunday afternoon

My opinion they have hands down best brew in the city of Milwaukee. Ngl it's a little hard to park and get to, it's basically right by 3rd st market. Small and cozy vibes. All of the staff are phenom. I often swing by before I go to work. Best part: they're open until like 9pm! It's so hard to find a coffee joint that stays open late for night owls like me. It's clean, modern. You must stop in.

I liked the coffee here quite a bit and would definitely go here again. It's very aesthetically pleasing as well and water was provided for customer's to get themselves. The baristas were very nice and welcoming (also equally as aesthetically pleasing as the cafe itself). I also liked the location in general. The price was okay; it was more of what you would expect in our current economy. Yeah it was pricier but not outrageous by any stretch (again, within the context of our current economy).

A straightforward, non-nonsense coffee bar with plenty of seating. They do offer seasonal flavors and drinks, but otherwise have a fairly simple menu and offer a few pastries. Definitely a good option if you are looking for a quick hit of caffeine.

Delightful coffee shop. Don't order the Manhattan, yuck. But do order the Latte , it was spot on.

Canary Coffee Bar is a lovely place to work remotely in Milwaukee. It's located near to the Third Street Market Hall. They have plenty of outlets along the tables/seats along the edges of the space. They have plenty of seasonal drinks as well, which I always look out for when trying a new cafe. Canary has a unique tab system where you don't pay for your coffee right away--you pay when you leave. I've really enjoyed every drink that I've tried there, including a Honey Nut Cheerios-inspired coffee and a hot creme brulee latte to name a few.

I stopped into this cozy cafe a few times during my visit to Milwaukee. The chai was delicious. I came back for a tartine at lunch time. The best part is the friendly baristas that make you feel like you're old friend. Highly recommend!

Canary Coffee Bar has such a warm, inviting vibe that makes it a great place to relax. The coffee was bold and smooth, and the lavender latte was especially delicious with the perfect balance of floral sweetness. The food overall was tasty and fresh, but the monkey bread was a little on the stale side. Still, I'd definitely come back again

I'm going to start off saying that although I like coffee a lot, I tend to be the type of person who normally either gets a sugary latte/cold brew or whatever generic coffee a diner happens to use, and I don't do a lot in between, because I just don't know enough about the various varieties of beans. Step in this place. They have a coffee flight. Whereas most places will feature lattes with their flights, this gives you a chance to try their different roasts. I'm, again, clueless on this stuff, so I let the barista pick for me. Oh, and what great choices they picked. These are not your gas station or Starbucks coffees, where you have to pour all kinds of stuff into it to be able to drink your coffee. These are coffees that you want to try on their own. I'm sure their lattes are great as well, but do yourself a favor and try one of their roasts black. If I lived here, this would be a weekly stop. There's a fair amount of seating and a laid back vibe, so it's definitely worth visiting on a dreary or lazy day where you just want to read and have a good coffee.

Have been a consistent Canary Coffee patron for a few weeks now. After learned a little more about the service model, I am a true believer. All the baristas are very nice & helpful. There's always a little wait but it is very worth it. They have a couple outside tables when the weather is nice. Clean bathrooms.

He ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and I ordered the egg white breakfast burrito. His burrito was definitely a lot better than mine and just had much better flavor. I was trying to be healthy and honestly should've just gotten the chorizo breakfast burrito like him; mine was made with egg whites and had kale. I love sandwiches and knew I had to try the pastrami. It was fantastic. I've been trying to cut back on caffeine and I instead went with one of their refreshers on the menu. It was I believe and 'Blue and Grapefruit' - and that wasn't my favorite as someone who doesn't really care for grapefruit that much. I got it thinking it would be diluted a bit, SO, if you like grapefruit, I'm sure it's perfect for you. I also got a peanut butter oreo pie and wish I took a picture of it...but I devoured it too quick to even think about it. For me, that dessert was the definite highlight of the cafe. I'll definitely come back on more weekends when I have a craving for pastrami.

I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender and a little vanilla, in a mug. The barista did a nice job and gave the tea a good long steep. It had excellent flavor, and the temperature was right (about 140°F). It would have been even better with a bit more foam on top. For bakery items, they had a big pile of large cookies (cowboy?), but not much else. The food menu is a little sparse but has some good options for breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It came out hot, with nicely grilled bread and savory meats inside. The roasted pork was especially tender and flavorful. It came with a small container of slaw, which was a little uninspiring. Service: The person who took my order and made my drink did a nice job. She took her time and did a good job with the drink. I appreciated that they delivered both the drink and the food to the table. She was a bit soft-spoken and a little hard to hear with the music playing. Efficient, but not especially outgoing. Atmosphere: The space has a bit of an industrial minimalist feel. High ceilings with the mechanicals in plain sight, along with colorful paint and design elements. Seating can accommodate groups of different sizes, though there aren't too many spots ideal for couples. The space can be a bit echoey, and the volume of the music could make conversation challenging at times. It's a nice spot for groups to hang out, and there was a larger table where people were working and collaborating. A decent spot for hanging out at lunch or later in the afternoon.

The coffees we had (and one mocha) were delicious and delightful. We sat down and they called out our names (after a little bit of a wait). But the wait was worth it. There are games on some shelves and we picked up Cribbage and played while we sipped our drinks. And let me tell you - the drinks were yummy. We ordered the following: "What Winter Brought," "Peppermint Mocha," "Channel Orange", and two "Moon Waters."
