The one that almost made my mind collapse was the trout. I normally don't bother with trout as it's usually kinda lackluster. The trout Vanessa made for us at Mother's was hands down one of the best pieces of fish I've ever eaten... and I ate my way up the California coast for 30 years. Get in now while it's still possible to get a table. This is as good as it gets. We got the honor of being food nerds when Chef came to the table and talked sauce with us! The shop is cozy and if this was somewhere that I lived walking distance from, I could totally see myself coming here fairly regularly and having a little cheese and ambiance.
