    Birria tacos with breakfast potatoes

I've been wanting to come here for some years now and finally got the chance two. Was perfect for a girls brunch, the scenery is cozy, lots of natural lighting. There's bar and table seating and it was easy to give my name and number and only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for 3 at what seemed like a busy time. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed how fluffy the French toast was and my mimosa was well balanced. My friends enjoyed their food as well. Their non breakfast/brunch foods looked very interesting as well, I'd love to visit again and try.

High end cafe in downtown Elm Grove. Service was great for this type of Cafe Nothing stood out in my opinion with regards to the menu I'd probably only come if someone recommended this restaurant for late breakfast or early lunch

Looked forward to getting back to Zisters Sunday morning after a few months away. I was surprised to see they updated the interior, darkening many of the walls making it feel a bit moodier than needed for a business focusing on the brunch crowd. While it may not be my vibe, I do appreciate the fact they reinvest $$ to keep things fresh. Service was slower than it needed to be based on the number of people in the restaurant at the time. Maybe the servers were catching up on their busy weekends. The food was consistent as usual. I enjoyed the big burrito which is a newer item on the menu. They use their famous billionaires bacon in the burrito but its flavors were lost when combined with the ancho chili. The experience was positive and I will be back. Just hoping for more attentive service the next time

Had a really great time here celebrating one of my colleagues recent professional accomplishments over brunch. The staff was extremely caring and attentive to all our needs (shoutout Ethan). We had made a reservation and they had our table ready for us right when we got there. The restaurant feels big and cozy all in one. They have a large outdoor patio I'm excited to check out once the weather permits. The food was great! I got their breakfast burger that had an interesting beef and chorizo mix patty that had a great char and slight kick to it. The fries and hash browns were also really good. I also had an espresso martini that was extremely tasty. I'm looking forward to coming back and exploring the rest of the menu!

Beer-mosa served by the best brunch bartender, Taylor. Oh, and the food is great too!

Review #839 12.10.24 We came here to eat breakfast before heading to my brothers to visit on Saturday November the 23rd. Zisters is inside of a strip mall that had a great location. The inside is big with plenty of tables. My guess is with the food & drink options, and how modern it felt that this place is packed for breakfast on Saturdays/Sundays. It's a good idea to do what they do & have lunch & breakfast both available. I think we got there close to 12 & were able to still order breakfast items. I got a eggs benny, which they have a spin on it which I appreciated. The benny first off comes with 3, not 2, which is awesome. 2nd you pick which 3 you want instead of only having to get 1 kind. Awesome feature. The service was great, they've got plenty of staff with food runners so the servers don't get behind and can tend to their customers, our server was on top of it. Highly recommend.

Brunch for dayyyyys. Yummy cocktails too! Clean modern inside. The staff were so kind. This is always important to me, as I dine alone a lot. The service was very quick, too! SO MUCH FOOD. Portions are huge. Pricing is so reasonable too. Please visit!

The new menu is perfect. I love it. The food was so delicious. The service was ok. We ended up waiting quite a while and it was not because the restaurant was super busy because there have plenty of staff and a few empty tables. The restaurant it's great location. It's awesome. Everything looks nice and cleaned an area. The windows and the doors were open so that the fresh air can come through. Their bathroom is always clean and organize. I love meeting here for brunch with my friends. It's a perfect location with a wonderful menu and near different shops if you want to stay around and walk around the area

We were staying not far from here and their excellent yelp reviews lead us here. It is a cute place inside and the service was really good. So many things to choose from, my wife got the Benedict Flight (such a fun idea) It had one Ham, one Smoked Salmon and one Florentine. She liked them all, the only complaint was the Salmon was cold and it made that whole benedict cold. She also liked that she could sub greens for hash browns. I did the Carnivore bowl and if you read my reviews, I almost always get a bowl/skillet as its the maximum amount of hash browns and I always judge breakfast restaurants by their hash browns. Their hash browns were crispy and excellent. Everything was cooked well, eggs were perfectly cooked and they had really great toast. All in all, very good breakfast and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Took some family here for brunch and we were not disappointed! Such a great menu - everyone found something they loved. The service was great, didn't feel rushed and I know we'll be back!

Date of visit: June 26, 2024 Zisters is a place that has a large and loyal fan base, and after visiting, it is not difficult to see why. The staff is friendly and there is a nice variety of food items to choose from. Their patio is quite nice--though we did not sit out there--and I appreciate the variety of standard and high top tables to choose from. I went with a friend from work and even though I am really trying to eliminate fried chicken from my diet, the chicken and waffles sounded too good to pass up, My concern was that it would be too hot but the waitress assured me it wasn't. She lied. I was able to get through it, but if you're a weakling like me when it comes to heat, select another entree!

The restaurant is very cute inside with a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We tried the table pancake after overhearing another server explain it to a nearby table, it was huge, yet surprisingly light, sweet, and delicious! Most of the meals in our group were very good. Unfortunately, my meal arrived missing the potatoes listed on the menu, and I never received the butter and jam offered with my toast. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced and didn't check back with us until we were almost finished, so it didn't feel worth bringing up at that point. We were also seated at a booth with a chair added to the end despite the restaurant not being very busy when we arrived. It was cramped with many dishes and glasses on our table. Overall, my first experience wasn't the best, but there were definitely positives and I'd be willing to give it another try in the future.

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.

I searched on Yelp and came across Parkside 23. It sounded perfect. When we pulled into the parking lot, it was very crowded. I called in to the restaurant to make sure they'd have room for us, and was told that yes, they had just had a cancellation for a table for two, so come on in. We did, and we were seated almost immediately. From the minute we walked in the restaurant, everything was perfect. Hostess Heidi was lovely, our server Sara was amazing, and the food was incredible. My friend had the meatloaf, and crème brûlée for dessert. She said both were great. She's not a drinker, but did have a couple Shirley Temples, which were perfect. I have the pretzel crusted veal with spaetzel. I asked for them to hold the asparagus, which is usually cut up in the spaetzel along with mushrooms and onions, and they did it perfectly. The veal was especially amazing, and the spaetzel was very good, too. I tried the Mr Manhattan, and had another one as my dessert. I'm always delighted when my usual craft cocktail is one of their classics on the menu. It was well-made, if a bit small for the price point. We've already decided that this will be our go-to place for lunch whenever I travel up from Chicago to visit my friend. Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.
