First time here as The Breakfast Place, although we had visited when it was Brunch. Food: They have a solid menu featuring all of the typical breakfast favorites. I like to try something a little different, so I ordered the Avocado Toast with Eggs. I requested my eggs over easy, and they came out perfectly cooked. For my side, I chose the hash browns instead of the fruit. I asked for them to be extra crispy, and in hindsight, I should have asked for them to be extra-extra crispy. They were still very good. Service: We arrived right as they opened, so there were only a few occupied tables. We were seated immediately. Our server did a great job getting us settled in, gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, and never made us feel rushed. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a welcoming feel. Large windows fill the dining room with natural light, and the tables and booths provide plenty of space. The noise level was low enough to enjoy a quiet conversation. I also liked how they used wood posts and beams to break up the large dining room, making it feel more intimate. Nice touch. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience. I'd love to see a few more inventive daily specials to complement the menu. read more

So excited that this cute breakfast place opened up so close by! At least when I went, you didn't need a reservation, although this was close to when they first opened. The staff was very kind and sweet. The food was excellent with great quality ingredients. The portions are massive so there will be plenty of leftovers. The pancakes are also perfectly fluffy! This was the new restaurant to try and it's a retread from the previous restaurant and it even looks the same. The massive stone fireplace in the middle of the dining room is surrounded with seating. My service was good and no issues there. I ordered the country fried steak, sunny side up eggs, extra crispy hash brown and sourdough toast. My plate didn't take long and looked great. The eggs were cooked perfect. The hash browns were cooked perfectly with a mix of crispy golden potatoes and soft white potatoes. The sourdough toast was a let down because it was commercial average and could pass for white toast, not the artesian good flavor with that nice chew. I have country fried steak all the time and it's the same bland frozen commercial restaurant food service. My first thought was wow this country fried steak is tasty with a nice golden shell, noticeably tasty with the first bite compared to my regulars. The country gravy was creamy but commercial average at best, there is a can in the grocery store that I use at home which is tastier. Overall it's a solid breakfast restaurant but I probably won't be a regular because it's a hall because I don't live anywhere near it. read more

I went with a friend for the first time on Saturday; our food was excellent and our server, Evelyn, was wonderful. The atmosphere is really inviting, it has a large two-sided fireplace, along with a very bright, open floor plan. I thoroughly enjoyed my one meat skillet and my buddy had a side of corned beef with pancakes. We got more food than we bargained for and our service was outstanding. Food was cold (Eggs Benedict had lukewarm eggs and hollandaise and the English muffins seemed like pancakes; they were already soggy.) Canadian bacon wasn't hot and had a lot of fat on it which usually isn't the case with Canadian bacon. It's more like ham. The fruit was very good and fresh. The stir fry was decent. Veggies were fresh and cooked properly. It was also hot but it was a bit salty. Decor is cute. They don't use filtered water and you can taste it. Found this little hidden gem and decided to give it a try. The ambiance was amazing, though it was somewhat busy it wasn't noisy. The service was impeccable and we were always checked on, coffee stayed in my cup and then the food arrived. It made me wonder how I've never been to this establishment. My sure tried the chicken and waffles but replaced the regular waffles for the bananas and pecan waffles. He said those were amazing, freshly squeezed orange juice. We tried to go there. We did an online reservation request after they were closed for the next day. They only let you know if your reservation was accepted.
