Very cute coffee shop. Super friendly staff. Nice and clean welcoming area. Plenty of parking available in the outside. With a view to the Fox River Trail. Love the inside of the coffee shop the gift shop, tea or coffee variety to purchase additional items to possibly take home or to give away. They have a really nice seating area inside the coffee shop. Very airy and comfortable.

Coffeeville is an adorable cafe in Brookfield! They have breakfast and lunch items. I've been a couple times and my only complaint is that for what you're getting the prices are a bit on the higher end - although it is pretty good quality for the most part. The vibes are also very cute and makes you feel like you're at a train station. The staff is friendly and you typically get your food quickly but you can tell it's all freshly made to order. Would recommend stopping by at least once! One of the times I came they had live music which was very fun!

*Train Noises* Alllllll aboard!! In my ongoing quest to find great independent coffee shops in my local area, my train pulled into the Coffeeville station. This quaint little place is located, naturally, right next to some railroad tracks right off Brookfield Road. It is immediately evident that railroading is near and dead to their hearts with every square inch of the place decked out to look like your just about to catch a ride to the next station. I personally ordered the dark mocha, and it was absolutely divine. In top of this, the prices were actually quite reasonable! I highly recommend you pull your own train into this stop and try one of their many offerings.

We order the iced Ashley's Latte (proceeds go to Ashley who is fighting cancer) and a hot Royal Caramel Macchiato which came with a chocolate. Both drinks were very good. Strong coffee flavor not hidden under too much syrup. I also order the tomato bisque with a side of bread. The soup was chunky and delicious! The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Amazing. Quick service. Knowledgeable staff that were able to answer questions. Plenty of seating and a cute props to make you feel like you're on a train. The only negative was as others said it's a bit pricey.

I stopped here for coffee one day to get some work done. It's an old railroad stop converted into a coffee shop. And it's adorable and charming inside. Look at the photos. The booths are actual railroad seats and each one has a little vintage suitcase attached. The "windows" are screens with scenes of Mary Poppins and trees and outdoors and it's adorable. You place your order at the counter just like any coffee shop. When I asked for their regular coffee, it was served to me barely warm. I told the young barista and she promptly brewed more and it was hot. I also ordered a wrap - and it tasted ok - but it was pretty sparse on ingredients and quantity - so that's my quip here. Also, the place closes early in the afternoon (before 5) But in terms of ambience and environment, it was lovely. A great idea. Not my favorite coffee - but I'd be willing to try again. I sat outside on the patio for a bit as well. There is a walking trail just right out of the front door of the premises. Great spot and creative concept.

I enjoyed my matcha latte and the farmer's sandwich. The service is friendly. Great atmosphere. The seasonal backdrops are an experience themselves. They have a rewards program, too. Yay!

What an adorable little coffee spot in Brookfield! Situated in what appears to be an old/historic train station, Coffeeville Company is serving up espresso beverages in addition to an array of breakfast and lunch items in a charming atmosphere. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and while it was definitely busy, we were able to find a table. The dining room is set up reminded me of a train dining car, complete with a series of screens that look like windows with a variety of scenes moving by. The also have suitcases beside each table to lean into the train station theme. The effect is adorable. I ordered a cheddar herb bagel with whipped cream cheese and a pumpkin spiced latte (that they serve year round here). Both were excellent. It's an order at the counter and they'll give you a buzzer when your order is ready sort of set up. The menu is on boards above the registers but is extensive and they have menus they can hand you as well (much easier). Will definitely be back to this darling Brookfield gem. Get to it!

I did not have coffee here, but I did have a muffin, which was good. However, it is the atmosphere where this place excels. It is just off a bike trail, so it would be a great place to take a break or stop by before/after. Adorable and cozy interior. And they had some fun merch as well. Will need to actually try their coffee next time I'm in town!

This place has been on my list for awhile and I'm glad I finally made the trip! Ordered their specialty latte - The Poet and their Farmers sandwich. I loooooved the sandwich and the coffee was good, too! Plenty of places to sit; I enjoyed the decor and the overall vibe. Food and drink only took a few minutes. I'll be back to try more things!

Get rid of the guitar player/singer you had today 10/11 . Voice was grating and too loud.

At one point, I worked as a restaurant and wine critic in NYC. One of my favorite restaurants,…read morecalled Dean Street Cafe, was located across the street from my apartment. They made a terrific burger with a slab of blue cheese topped with tart pickled red onions. But their signature dish, if you will, were the perfectly cooked handcut french fried they served with their burgers. The fries were long, expertly crispy and pillowy soft inside. The last fry was as crisp as the first. My brother, a chef from Ohio, came to visit once and I took him there. His eyes popped at the first fry he ate and exclaimed, "Damn, someone in the kitchen cares about potatoes!" That happened to me the first time I ate at Mimosa. I ordered an omelet with the house breakfast potatoes, which taste like they are slowly cooked in olive oil until fork tender and crispy on the edges. Easily some of the best potatoes I have had in MKE. Then I reached across the table and stole a handcut french fry from my daughter's plate. Late in the meal, the fry was still warm, brown and perfectly crispy. "Damn", I said, "Someone in the kitchen cares about potatoes!" Then disaster struck. The regular french fry cutter die must have broken in the kitchen, and now they cut the fries terribly thick like Lincoln Logs. Sure they're still beautifully brown, but because they are so think and have a higher moisture content to surface area they simply cannot get crispy enough. Within a minute of the hitting the table the logs of fries are soft and soggy, and no amount of fry time will help. If it were not for the great fry debacle, a story I have yet to confirm with the restaurant, Mimosa would easily be one of my few five-star restaurants in the MKE. The menu is large and offers something for everyone. Including many gluten-free and plant-based options for myself, old school corned beef and hash for my dad, terrific south of the border specials that my wife loves, and plenty for our kids. Sure the fries were once legendary (and I hope the chef will read this and order a replacement die for the fry cutter), but if you've made it this far in my review rest assured that every dish here taste like it is cooked by someone in the kitchen who cares about their craft, and the house potatoes are an (almost) fine substitute for what was once Milwaukee's best french fry.
