Today I tried a new coffee today, the cherry cola cooler, I cannot say I recommend. It's made with housemade syrup, it really taste like as if you got a cherry coke, and a coffee and mixed it together. The coffee in general I'd say is not a sweet treat. The gluten free chocolate chip cookie, reminded me of their chocolate scone, it was soft, tasted great. The scone was so pretty and well balanced, loved that I got the last one in the showcase. The chilaquiles were a bit disappointing. Presentation was wonderful, and proportions were very good. But the tortillas were already all soft and soggy on arrival, in red sause. Chilequiles is really more of a building board, pick the way you want your eggs, pick the sauce (red or green) pick your protein. I was asked how I wanted my eggs, but not the other things. With my mind in a few directions it didn't come to me until it was already served. Normally I'd get green sauce and chicken for protein. At other restaurants there usually beans and rice but I didn't not expect that here, which it wasn't. The eggs were amazing, clearly amazing quality-the yolk a deep orange. My friend got the hoppei poppei, it seemed like it was really met to her liking-light cheese in the eggs, and the summer sausage and interesting but tasty addition for breakfast. The cafe closes at 2:00, but kitchen closes at 1:00. The hot menu items are brought out to you. Your name is called out for drinks. Bakery items are handed directly to you immediately after purchase at register. Bathroom is so pretty, perfect for a quick mirror picture. And exceptionally clean. Both absolutely delicious and well worth it! I've also had their "new for the summer" smoked salmon bagel with cucumber, pickled shallots, arugula, caper cream cheese, and lox on an everything bagel that was so refreshing and perfect for a nice day. Such great additions to the menu! Other honorable mentions that aren't a new are the breakfast bowl and the açaí bowl for a lighter breakfast! My go to coffee order is either a vanilla latte or the Vietnamese cold brew, both delicious and get the job done. The one that caught my eye was the Tahini Caramel Latte. It was rich and flavorful. The only thing I would have changed was the temperature. It was just under 120°F, and I personally prefer my lattes to be at least 130°F. Next time, I'll simply ask for it extra hot. I also ordered the Almond Croissant, and it was truly delicious. It had a great texture and was topped with sliced almonds and a drizzle of chocolate. They warmed it up, so the filling was perfectly soft and gooey. Service: The service was super friendly. It didn't take long for our drinks and pastry to be prepared, and everyone was welcoming and pleasant. Atmosphere: The interior is spacious, bright, and clean.
