Been to Casera few times now and always have a great experience. The staff is always friendly and I like how bright and spacious the cafe is. It makes for a nice place to hang out/do some work- especially with the comfy seating. I have yet to try breakfast items, but I love their bakery. My go to drink is a vanilla cold brew- I absolutely love that they make their own syrups too. Definitely recommend trying out if you haven't!

Chocolate chip scone and a drip coffe that I added creamer and CINNAMON too

I got an iced Carmel latte and a chocolate chip scone the first time. The coffee is not on the sweet side if that's what you're looking for. Then I got a drip coffee the second time, added creamer and CINNAMON for the first time and I enjoyed it. The scone is a great size and sooo good. I've had it 2 times now. I love a cafe with a lot of windows. This place is very aesthetic, clean. I have to say the bathrooms are amazing too lol also clean and aesthetic. Friendly atmosphere. People working on laptops and friend group or a family going in for a bite to eat as well. In he summer, or even on a 60° day like when I was there, one of the garage like doors were open for some fresh air.

How lovely is this place!!! My friend found this place for our group of seven to get breakfast one morning and I am so glad she did! Firstly, the cafe is so big!!! Very spacious with plenty of seating in different styles. There's also a little shop area where you can buy various items and souvenirs/postcards even. There are also large windows that allow so much natural sunlight to come in - it's truly very nice! The staff is also superb - very nice and patient with our large group. I got the papas bravas with over medium eggs and very much enjoyed it for breakfast. The potatoes were nicely seasoned, the eggs cooked well, and the sauces very yummy! I also got to try a pastry and the apple French toast my friends ordered. The French toast was to die for! Whenever I'm back in Milwaukee, I know I'll be coming back for sure!

I've passed by here dozens of times, but this was my first time stopping in. It's conveniently located right on the corner of Becher Street. They have a parking lot with plenty of spaces. The entire southeast corner is made up of large, windowed garage doors, so you can get plenty of light and fresh air when everything is open. There are table outside. Inside their are tables, booths and upholstered chairs. Lots of spots for all size groups. I came on a Monday morning, and there were other tables with small groups. Some people looked like they were doing work, while others were just chilling out. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe to it. I was greeted by a cheerful barista, and she did a nice job explaining some of the menu items. I typically get a London Fog Tea Latte, but the description of their Manila Fog sounded interesting and tasty (Black Rishi Tea, Ube Syrup, and Coriander on top -- with extra foam for me). I also asked for a Matcha Scone, which they warmed up a bit. Both the Manila Fog and the Matcha Scone were excellent. You could definitely taste the Ube Syrup, though it was a bit too sweet for me (I would ask for half the amount next time). The scone had great flavor, but its texture was more muffin-like than scone-like. They also have other merchandise for sale from other local small businesses. This ranges from ice cream, honey, to technology products (i.e. instamatic cameras). A fun assortment for gift shopping? I'll definitely be coming back -- and will ask for a few tweaks on the food items, or maybe try a couple of different ones.

Such a bright, lovely spot to grab a coffee or tea and a bite! Lots of areas to sit and get some work done, too. The service was excellent, my tea was perfectly brewed, my partner's latte was delicious, and we enjoyed our sweet treats. We'll be back!

Beautiful space! Love all the windows, the shelves with local goods, everything feels very open. Staff were friendly. The food was fine. It wasn't bad but just seemed ok. I've gone to their sister restaurant Sugar and Flour and enjoy their menu more. I would go back for a coffee just to be in this space.

We stopped here not too long ago - and made it just in time to order brunch - they were just about to stop brunch service, but were kind enough to take our order which was super nice. The ambience is light, open, spacious - lots of room to spread out and options for larger groups, which was nice to see. Loved the vibe here. Everyone ordered something - whether it was food or coffee - and enjoyed it. If you're in this area of the city, stop by. The coffee shop is located at the end of a multi-story residential complex, but the parking lot has spaces reserved for the cafe. I would come by again.

    Pumpkin cheesecake cold brew!
    Mandie B.

We tried a brownie and their seasonal drink, which is a pumpkin cheesecake, cold brew. I also had a macchiato, which was the traditional kind, and not some giant sugar laid in monstrosity. Everyone was kind, and there's a little shop at the front. I would note that the hours listed on yelp do not seem to be the same as the hours that are in action at the location, so if you're coming from a great distance or near closing time, it may be wise to call. I thought this little note on my husband's drink was a nice extra touch. Also, the inside is beautifully done and spacious, and there is patio seating for nice days or if you have a dog with you!

Two Eggs Your Way with Toast and Cold Brew

I was pleasantly surprised by Casera Cafe! Going into it, I thought Casera would be another one of those ultra-modern, sleek coffee shops that charge an arm and a leg for incredibly average food and beverages. I was totally wrong! Casera might be on the pricier side, but the quality justifies the price tag. The Golden Milk was rich and earthy with a hint of spice. My dining companion went with the Two Eggs Your Way, which is pretty hard to mess up. It was a solid breakfast, and he said the Cold Brew was good, too. But the best thing I tried was the Morning Bun French Toast. It looks like they slice a Morning Bun crosswise and then soak it in custard and fry it like your typical French toast, but the result was to die for. The Morning Bun French Toast was tender but with a good bit of caramelization that added texture and depth of flavor. Casera was out of apple butter, which typically comes with the dish, so they subbed in peach butter instead and I must say they need to make peach butter the standard. The peach added a punch that brightened up the dish and balanced the richness of the French toast, all the while avoiding the holiday-y connotations that can come with apples and cinnamon. Service itself was great. The staff was so friendly and there were some regulars who came in shortly after us who were greeted by name. That's not something you see all too often anymore. The space itself was bright and clean and there were plenty of seating options to choose from. It's a kid-friendly space, too. Many families came in while we dined. I'd highly recommend Casera Cafe. With a pretty large menu and great pastry selection, you're sure to find something you love.

Overall a pretty good coffee shop. I wouldn't say it necessarily blew me away by any means, but the coffee I had was good. It took quite a bit for my coffee to come out, and it didn't seem that the place was very busy. I sat out on the outdoor patio which was nice. I would come here again.

Cinnamon roll, Iced horchata latte, and a traditional latte.

This is one of my favorite places in Milwaukee for pastries. Located right on the river in between Walker's Point and Bayview it's a short drive from downtown, but well worth it. The service is always friendly and fast and they have a huge selection of coffee and free drinks. I love sitting at the bar and watching them bake through the window. Don't forget to check out their little gift shop area with local goods and crafts!

Their coffee shop is SO HUGE!!! Love the food and beverage options they offer- I got the peppermint latte and the Island matcha for my drinks. I also got the crossaint sandwich which was SO BIG and delicious. 100% recommend checking this coffee shop out of you're ever in the harbor district

Wowza! I never knew this place existed until today and what a gem! The lines were so long and understood why. It's soooo good! Croissants taste as good as Europe

The coffees we had (and one mocha) were delicious and delightful. We sat down and they called out our names (after a little bit of a wait). But the wait was worth it. Also, it was a little hard to hear them call our name - we were talking, folks on the other end of the table were talking, as well as others - and thankfully someone in our group was paying attention and did hear it. There are games on some shelves and we picked up Cribbage and played while we sipped our drinks. And let me tell you - the drinks were yummy. We ordered the following: "What Winter Brought," "Peppermint Mocha," "Channel Orange", and two "Moon Waters." Because we all wanted to sample each other's drinks we each got a sip of the others to taste, and there wasn't one I didn't like. The photos of the drinks are below - except for Channel Orange which was in a unique cup, unfortunately I can't remember which one is which! But don't they all look appetizing with the lovely swirls and desings? I don't know what the vibe is like on a working day (one of the members in our group does come here to work on weekdays). If you were wanting a quiet place to work on a Saturday morning, this might not be the right spot for you on a Saturday. This is a great spot to meet a friend or hang out with some friends. If you want some delicious craft drinks anytime, I highly recommend stopping here and glad it's here in Milwaukee. I'll be back!

We got a few drinks: espresso was great, maple bourbon latte was strong and sweet, Columbia pour over honestly tasted artificial with the strength of the blueberry taste. I would say if you come here to download the Collectivo Rewards app because the reward points add up pretty quickly. We moved closer to here so I can now walk here easier and it is my go to working spot if it's not too packed. The only downside is summer is coming and it usually gets pretty packed at that time. The only thing I wish that was different is that the chairs had some cushion because unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with enough junk in my trunk. I arrived at the coffee shop 18 minutes before I needed to jump on a call. I thought that was plenty of time to order my drink; there were only two people ahead of me in line. The other line had only one person, but she was waiting for some coffee to be ground. Still, 16 minutes later I did not have my coffee, so I told them to put it aside and I would come back for it in 30 minutes. The staff were perplexed about what the problem was. They could not fathom what would be the challenge to wait even longer. When I went upstairs to make my call, the person ordering ground coffee was still at the counter, her bag of coffee in front of her, as she was doing what I could best describe as an interpretive dance. There was no one waiting at the other line to make an order. Still, the four people behind the counter could not figure out how to better manage the three drinks that were waiting to be made. This place seriously needs a manager.
