    Chilaquiles
    Aliya M.

I love the homey atmosphere in this restaurant. The service was great, we were created with a free soup to eat while we were looking over the menu. Food was also good. I got the chilaquiles with steak. The steak was amazing, well seasoned and a great texture! It was huge and lasted me 2 days of leftovers (good portion sizes for the cost). I didn't have any drinks, but the friends I was with enjoyed theirs (mimosas and spiked coffee). I will definitely return!!

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant as it feels like you're in someone's kitchen. From the beginning when you sit down you are given a small bowl of complimentary soup of the day which was really good way to open appetite. Then the menu is so expansive I am almost positive that everyone can find something to their liking. Also be amazed by the portion size you are getting at such a great value including getting pancakes as a side dish. My personal favorite was my fiancés chilaquiles with steak. My chicharrón omelette was good just a little dense for me especially with red sauce. They also have everything from mimosas to their special iced coffee with baileys or khalua that I added Caramel flavoring and I think it's a must try. So sit back and grab a group of friends and enjoy a nice brunch.

Had a friend reunion here and I'm glad that this was the place we decided to catch up in! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Because it was the day after New Year's Eve I thought the place would be closed but I'm happy it was open. We ordered an omelette that came with a side of potatoes, some egg tacos, and enfrijoladas. I have to say that the food here is big portions but great flavor! The drinks were great as well and I'm happy that everything came at the correct temperature. Their menu offers a ton of different options so you are sure to find something you love! I will definitely be coming back here as their is a stuffed concha on the menu that looked so delicious! They also have quiet the pineapple dish that is filled with you go and fruits and granola. For the person that's into healthy juices in the morning they have a wide selection to choose from! It's a great big space that offers a parking lot as well. They have music playing and has great lighting from the big windows.

The margaritas are fantastic!! We got the mango flavored double carona margarita and loved it. Service was quick and everyone was nice. Love the bar vibe!

I came in randomly had me a nice breakfast Al fresco. It's odd the waiter informed me that people don't like sitting out there. People you are missing out the patio is nice and clean. The weather was perfect there was lots of shade it wasn't too warm out and no bugs flying all over my food. The waiter was very nice and his service was too. Chilaquiles rojo for the win. :)

Looking a a place to eat brunch and we found this one for my children's dad birthday, it was ok. I kind of liked the restaurant. My daughter picked it out for today, even tho his Birthday was yesterday. So He got the chilaquiles with Steak and eggs. The Steak was huge, it tasted good, but a bit dry. Since he said next time he'll get it medium well. Everything else on his plate was great. I ate the baby reds potatoes, yum with some egg white all meat omelet, pancakes on the side. Everything tasted good except for my omelet , it was too oily. My orange juice tasted good as well. My daughter had the Chorizo with beans, avocado ,Oaxaca cheese. It tasted so good with some eggs on the side. And my grandson had the kids full breakfast plate with apple juice. Love the restaurant how it looked inside, it was kind of big. It looked so like home, when you feel like you at home. Well the customer service was great, loved how they sit you down right away, all the servers there were also great. Thank you for an overall outstanding experience. So I gave it 3 stars for now. Next time I'll go I would try something else and drink something else they have on their menu! I would give you 5 stars next time I'll go, definitely would go back. The restaurant It's kind of big from outside too.

Service is excellent & they have some flavorful breakfast choices. I asked for a vegetarian version of the Abanil omelet by taking off the sausage & adding cheddar. It was very tasty! Did not come with potato's as menu says, but did come with the side. They couldn't make one pancake, it only comes with two. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The staff is delightful & I was happy to find them open day after a holiday! They forgot my fresh juice, but I was so full from the meal, I didn't request it. Love the atmosphere here.

Chilaquiles con Arrachera over easy eggs!

IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD! Me and my girlfriend came in today on Mother's Day and there was a lot of people, but being over staffed they had everything on POINT! Great crew! Waitress, and helpers were all very helping and attentive. Anything we needed in a packed house, didn't take long at all. Music was playing, everything was a great time. As for the food, PHENOMENAL! I ordered the chilaquiles with arrachera and over easy eggs and man let me tell you. FIRE! Chips still crispy, arrachera was cooked perfect right with the eggs, salsa had the perfect amount of kick(don't have a great tolerance for spice, take in consideration). Best chilaquiles I've had so far and I've had a lot! My girlfriend absolutely loves eggs Benedict and she ranks these 2nd in Milwaukee behind Mad rooster cafe which is a great breakfast spot, so great company to be in!! SHOUT OUT TO THE CHEFS AT THIS PLACE! food is always on point every time we come! Thank you for this place for being here hahaha can't wait to be back for my monthly visit!!

    Fish Salmon Fiesta Tacos

The most disgusting vile food I've had in my life it quite literally made me sick to my stomach. (No literally) not soon after I ate I had to run to the bathroom and projectile vomited ALL of my food it looked like something out of the exorcist. I wouldn't ever recommend this place and none the less would NEVER recommend the salmon tacos! Don't say I didn't warn you.

    Divorced eggs
    Alicia S.

Fiesta Café has some delicious Mexican breakfast dishes! I ordered Divorced eggs and the chilaquiles were delicious, the eggs were cooked nicely with some really good salsas on top that completed the whole dish! I enjoyed it with a michelada on the side. I definitely recommend the place.

I had the worst experience ever Cafe Fiesta OMG I asked for the check then she offered me the dinner menu lol so we decided to stay and try it out ordered the Rainbow margarita and instead of washing the glass she wiped it off with her hand lol Topped it off by being severed on a chipped plate WOW this lady didn't disappoint her poor service tactic at all our first time visiting is definitely the last time this was crazy and so was her performance as a server

    Chilaquiles were phenomenal!

He went early to get our bake on the list and they were spot on with the wait time. We did sit outside which I think sped things up. We all ordered an assortment of coffee beverages. There are so many great options on the menu and I was torn between three. Luckily one of my friends was torn between two of the same ones I was looking at so she split them. The spam omelette was delicious and paired well with the Johnny cakes. The Johnny cakes are massive and we ended up both taking leftovers home of that. The orange blossom syrup was really good with it. Our server was attentive and stayed on top of water refills which was appreciated as it was a warm day to be eating outside. They also have a second location which I am eager to try.

Perfectly cooked medium rare steak with chimichurri, crispy-runny eggs, and excellent potatoes holding it all together. The food is thoughtfully plated without trying too hard, and the prices feel fair for the quality. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been. Another lil Milwaukee gem!

I was standing there waiting for her, like IN HER WAY! Smiling and all! lol this was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The whole vibe here is that of a toxic work environment, starting with the hostesses that have zero and I mean ZERO interest in your experience as a customer of this establishment. Frankly makes me feel sorry for the owners when they have staff like this working for them. I had to walk away from two drinks we ordered on the way out because of the second hostess's attitude with us!!! She was so rude to the lady that prepared our drinks! Than was rude to us? People just don't understand sometimes that they are in the wrong field and we as customers don't have to put up with their attitude wherever it may be coming from. It's a pass for me, sorry Xavier we won't be coming back! Online it said both kinds of flights were included their special if the day, which was BOGO half off, but the staff told us the bloody flights were not included. We ordered a skillet, burrito, and harvest hash. Everything was great and came out quickly! What the restaurant is lacking is in overall aesthetic and cleanliness. It seems unfinished inside, has chipped paint, the canvas on the seats is ripping, and the floors were quite dirty where we were seated. We visited when there was only an hour left of them being open, and the staff made it seem like they were wanting to close up. Brunch It Up (possibly in the middle of rebranding to just "Brunch.") is a classic breakfast spot in downtown Milwaukee...we were there on a Sunday morning...high brunch time, and were seated quickly upstairs. The place had an overall run-down vibe to it...scuffed paint on the walls and a general feeling of not quite matching the quality of the upscale brunch spot implied by their modern logo. Menus...I normally don't comment on the menu itself but our table featured no less than 4 different menus...the regular menu, a drink menu, a specials menu and a mimosas menu...choices are wonderful, but the immediate reaction is this is a whole mess of menus on the table, and I don't know what to look at first. It felt haphazard. Let's move on to the coffee...Coffee is an essential part of the brunch experience. Even at a diner, you want it to be strong...the mug it came in was nice, but it was weak coffee. I need coffee to kick my butt, and if you're serving what's close to "browned water" at a breakfast place, you're missing the mark. How about the food? I can't fault them for the generosity of the portions, but will say individual dishes were way too much for my wife and I...we wish smaller portions were available, so so much didn't go to waste. My wife had the Egg and Waffle sandwich with waffle fries. It was fine. I had the Harvest Hash made with egg whites...the eggs were a little overcooked. (Egg whites require a thoughtful touch when cooking them so they are finished white and not browning all over.) There are plenty of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and peppers in there (I guess that's the extent of the harvest in Milwaukee) The hashbrowns it all sat on were undercooked. We were excited about the croissant beignets...Available were the regular ones with chocolate or strawberry dipping sauce, and a special with a fruit dipping sauce. They couldn't mix and match sauces, so we got the special. They were okay but a bit over-fried, losing the croissant texture altogether ...I mean, there's nothing wrong with deep-fried dough with sweet things to dip them in, but we do wish they hadn't fried the croissant out of them to give us the unique experience implied by the name. The menu has plenty to choose from...every breakfast savory or sweet thing you could imagine...and on the nicely designed, modern-looking menu at looks like it could be amazing...but everything we got, plus the experience of sitting in a place that felt a little rundown, left us overall disappointed.

Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.
