Honey Butter Café is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in the Milwaukee area! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was quick, and our food came out fresh and beautifully presented. The complimentary honey butter donut holes were a fantastic touch; warm, soft, lightly sweet, and incredibly addictive! We ordered the pancake combo, the Mexican omelette, and another specialty omelette with breakfast potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The pancakes were fluffy, the sausage was flavorful, the hash browns were crispy, and the omelettes were packed with fresh ingredients. The latte was also excellent and paired perfectly with breakfast. The portions are generous, the prices are fair for the quality and quantity you receive, and it's clear they take pride in both the food and the overall dining experience. If you're looking for an outstanding breakfast or brunch in Franklin, Honey Butter Café is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

Came with a friend for breakfast. This place is consistently good. This morning our regular server was out, but the person filling in was just as friendly, attentive, and efficient. I had the Desert Salad. It's a warm salad with spring mix, roasted corn, mushrooms, zucchini, walnuts, goat cheese, lemon, and olive oil. A great value at $12. My friend had the French Toast, with six big slices, butter, and warm syrup. Everything came out at the right temperature, with great flavors and generous portions. I didn't even finish half of the salad. We're saving the leftovers for supper. Delish

Spacious brunch place in Franklin, WI. The place was busy but we did not have to wait for a table around 9am on a Sunday. Our waitress was super helpful, she recommended the pulled pork eggs Benedict if you're looking for something meaty and protein packed. It do not disappoint! It came with poached eggs on top and potato has biscuit on the Bottom. The Dubai chocolate LOUKOUMADES are so good. It was part of the winter special. Get your mouth on these as they are limited time only!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was a really nice place for brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had a wide range of options and their French toast are so tasty. Service was a little slow but that's because the place is always busy so that's okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a great place for big groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've been to Honey Butter Café a few times, and the reason that I went back was for their delicious complementary honey butter rolls, and decent food...NEVER AGAIN. We decided to go during weekend brunch, it was so incredibly busy and loud, but we decided to stay for cocktails and a meal. We ordered the seasonal special, they asked how we wanted our eggs, and fiancé said poached and I said over easy. His egg came out HARDER THAN A HARD BOILED EGG. After our server checked on multiple of the people eating near us, she did not ask us if we needed anything, and I had to flag someone else down to calmly ask to make a new poached egg. 15 minutes later, they brought out a completely undercooked egg that was in a bowl with more water and uncooked whites than cooked bits - it was disgusting. I had to flag someone down again to complain, because they thought that that was an acceptable thing to serve, even though my fiancé's food that he was waiting to eat for a runny egg was entirely cold by this point. After this woman server called me a curse word in Spanish, very close to where I was sitting, I complained to the manager, and they took the meal off of our tab. They also hadn't even given us the honey buns at any point, even though they are complimentary, we had ordered cocktails and food, and everyone else around us got them without ordering. Very confused by these choices. The manager and bartender and other staff apologized for this one woman's behavior but I won't be back. What an insulting way to treat a fellow human being who wanted a meal to be eaten as ordered.

We ate here while in town from Florida and it never disappoints. The loukomans, (4 for two of us) are a special treat before ordering. My wife and I ordered a cali omelet (4 egg) with avocdo on tope, with hash browns, toast and a side of sausage patties. The kitchen split the order into two plates, with no extra charge and the size was more than the two of us could dad. Morgan was great with Oder taking, keeping out. coffee cups full and pacing everything to Mke a great breakfast even better.

Amazing! Live this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for brunch and to meet with friends and family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A place where you can relax let someone else do all the cooking so that you can enjoy the company and have great conversations with every person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good and friendly. I can see why this was voted as one of the best places to eat in Milwaukee! I'm not a brunch person usually, but this place is a great option. I love that there were more lunch-oriented options and appetizers like the fried mac & cheese balls. I had the chicken & waffle, and it was excellent. There was definitely a sweetness to the breading of the chicken that reminded me a bit of Chick-fil-A. The soup was a great starter too.

Good coffee great friendly service large portions of solid food. It's certainly in the rotation for breakfast spots. The best though were these donuts covered in honey they brought out to the table absolutely delicious, although I felt terrible about how much honey probably gets tossed each day left over in every one of those bowls . Most importantly it was very clean ... no fruit flies flying around which I really appreciate

We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and our waitress was very attentive even though she was busy. She was a hustler. My husband had the chicken Parmesan panini and I had the American breakfast. The food was good and we would come back again. My husband enjoyed his Bloody Mary. I also appreciated that she brought glasses of waters without being asked to.

S'mores Brioche French Toast: Honey Butter Café is a delightful café that offers a wide range of breakfast and lunch options made using fresh ingredients from right here in Wisconsin for a true farm-to-table experience. Their specialty is Loukoumades (Honey Puffs) and organic coffee. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in MKE, so I chose to come here with my family for my birthday breakfast. During our visit all staff were friendly, and our food came super quick. Our waiter Jason did a nice job of being attentive but not overbearing. My go to is their S'mores French Toast. The decadent dish consists of graham cracker crusted brioche bread stuffed with Nutella and topped with an army of mini marshmallows, all coated in flowing chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. An actual graham cracker graces the summit as the finishing touch (this time around it was no longer standing). The French Toast is warm, thick, sweet, soft, and pleasantly chewy. Chocolate and marshmallow are the dominant flavors with hints of graham cracker and Nutella. To answer all of your questions, yes it did taste as good as it looked. I always feel like I'm eating breakfast at Disney World when I order it. Doughboy approved! Only two minor areas for improvement would be allowing reservations and providing nutritional info. 4.5/5, but will round to 5. *I had the final 1/2 of this dish at home for dinner and I found it to taste even better when eaten after chilled in the fridge. The Nutella hardened and acted like a frosting. Amazing with a warm cup of coffee. Doughboy_Food_Reviews

I so rarely get to Greendale (honestly, can't say that I had ever been to anywhere in the village besides the mall) and I liked that we could make a reservation, making it a nice change of pace. The decor is lovely, very Art Deco, a nod to Eleanor Roosevelt, the namesake of the restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the interior was given that the exterior is essentially a strip mall. What's that old saying about books and their covers? Service was great, both attentive and timely, and everyone very much enjoyed their food. Monte Cristo is one of my favorites and this one was done very well. My coffee was also good and she kept it coming, which I also appreciated. Really the only sour note in the entire experience was being asked to vacate the table. While it was not handled terribly poorly, I would have recommended they offer us something to shift to the bar to not end the meal on a less than positive note, but that's just me.

It did come with a side salad, although I wished I had the option to choose my own side. The chilaquiles were also flavorful, but it was a little too mushy and there was not a lot of meat. The beans were also very cold, and I prefer my beans warm. Our server was pretty good. She took our order quickly and did check on us once.
