Very disappointed today with the service and never had a problem with previous visits. All wait staff were in back until someone from the kitchen noticed me then every one came rushing. Plus having hardly any customers on a Friday you would think service would be top notch. No smiles or anything. Burger was dry but portions was great Prices are high and is expected considering the economy that we're in. 3.98 was for a soda. A rewards program is available

Wild West Burrito (HUGE)

Stopped here after Sunday church. The place was busy but we were seated immediately. Our server Emma was very friendly and took care of us. I had the Wild West burrito with the Yukon gold potatoes. The burrito is massive! I'm usually a big eater but I could only manage to eat a little over a half of it. It was stuffed with eggs, peppers, onions, jalapeños, and potatoes. It was so delicious and had a nice kick! No hot sauce needed! The "yukes" potatoes were very good with the additional onions and cheese. The menu is really big with a great variety of breakfast and brunch items. Definitely recommend stopping here again soon!

Danish Waffle. Mmmm

We stopped in on our 5 hour drive back home. It was mid morning on a Sunday so we knew everything would be packed. Fortunately for us there was a gap and we pulled off the highway at the perfect time. My wife went for the Danish waffle and I the Trail Boss. Both meals were flavorful and resembled the flavor profile of some higher end brunch spot. This place is an absolute Gem and worthy of a visit.

It's been years since my only other visit to Sunny Side Up Cafe, so I thought I'd stop again since there was an omelette that caught my eye and I didn't recall if that's what I had on my previous visit. I called in an order to go that consisted of the Munster Monster Aahh!!! omelette, which comes with pancakes and smashed Yukon potatoes on the side. The pancakes were meh. Not exactly fluffy, but not dense either. They had almost no sweetness to them and needed the syrup that came with them in my to go bag. The omelette and potatoes were equally meh. I don't get the point of including huge chunks of bland potato in the omelette if you're also going to have the omelette come with a side of bland smashed potatoes. There was some "spicy" seasoning on the omelette, but not enough to be noticable other than the color it added. The omelette is large and I appreciate the use of muenster cheese as it's my favorite cheese, but neither of those points make me want to have it again.

Excellent service by Bethany and the hostess, a fun "spirit fingers" check-in by an owner/manager, and a smiling farewell when we had to leave--we were appreciative and felt appreciated! Delicious mimosas and Bloody Marys and incredible food...eggs Benedict, tasty ham, breakfast sandwich, great biscuits and gravy...A+ in every way. We loved the decorations and colorful vibe.

Horrible service and food . Looks dirty on the inside. Had an odd smell. Didn't want to try food after that . It looked undercooked.

Just your basic cafe that is good for a quick stop to get a bite to eat. Smaller place and family friendly.

Matty's is a place I've driven by numerous times but never gone in. We stopped here with friends,…read moreand I'm so glad they wanted to meet up here. It was a Friday, and they were very busy. We headed to the back, where the various bars for drinks were open. The lines weren't too long, but people were everywhere, talking it up and having a great time. It was estimated to be around an hour for a table, but we got seated in under 30 minutes. You can grab about any drink you can think of, and if you're a whiskey or bourbon fan, there are plenty of options to choose from. We got seated inside, and behind us were so many options for spirits to purchase--it was fun just to look over everything they had. On top of that, there was a guy going around giving samples of spirits, so you can always get lucky that way and grab a sample of a possible future purchase We got salads, burgers, cheese curds, and other items. The food was excellent, and I was starving. If you left the place hungry, that's your fault--portion sizes were large, and the food was filling. The place was certainly noisy, and that's to be expected. This wasn't a problem, but keep it in mind. That Friday energy had people laughing, telling their stories from the week, and enjoying the food. Our server was extremely attentive and kept track of everything amidst so much going on there. I was really impressed with both the food and service. Can't wait to make it back there!

With their rotating menu items and weekly specials, I am definitely coming back after having such a flavorful and fun meal. Waited about an hour on a busy Saturday since one of their locations was closed, but the food was well worth it! I had gotten Wolfie's Patty Melt and it was filling and a great start to our morning. The bread was nice and crisp from the buttered griddle and held everything together perfectly. Inside the crunchy sandwich were 2 seasoned patties and enough gooey cheese to make it rich, but not heavy. To contrast the fatty flavor, there was a slightly tart bacon jam and onions that were truly caramelized. Overall really tasty sandwich with no notes! In the description it says there is a sauce, but I could only taste the onions and jam, so I'm not too sure what it added. The side of fries was ok, but I think some crispy thinner ones would have been better with the sandwich. For my drink, I got a hot Ube Chai. The chai was strong and had a spicy kick to each sip. Already a subtle flavor, the ube was not very strong with the chai mixed in, but still added fun color. The design on top was also very cute and added another dink of sweetness. My girlfriend got the Spamelette for her main and it was pretty pretty and delish. Not too often that you see Spam, but when you see it, trust it earned its spot on a menu! The big chunks of Spam and accouterments gave each bite a pleasant feel and one full of flavor. I was skeptic of the mushrooms at first, but they were seasoned well and added another kind of texture to the meal. I think my favorite toppings were the drizzle of kewpie and the green onions... not sure if it counts as a topping, but the tamari glaze of the spam made it delish. Taste aside, it was also a pretty meal! Pook got a Hot Chocolate for her drink. Nice simple drink for the cold weather. We would have liked to see some more chocolatey flavor, but still a good milky drink for the meal. This drink also had a fun design and nice cream top, yum yum yum. This was such a tasty meal and they have lots of other options that I was debating on getting - I guess we gotta come back! It was a really cold day, but the cozy atmosphere and hot drinks with our food made it a great experience. We had originally planned on going to the Downtown location, but it was closed because of heating problems. I wish there was a bit more uniformity between their menus, especially since the Brewers Hill menu has different items and is smaller, so it feels like there is quite the difference between locations. Going off of that point, I am excited to try their dinner menu when it releases and see how it compares to when we ate Downtown! I am not sure how the places differ, but I felt the food here to be more flavorful than the other location. In addition to the dining area, they had a small shop and coffee area in the back while you waited for your table. It was fun and made time pass faster, but I feel as though that area is also perfect for dining. Maybe there are specific reasons why it isn't, but just a thought. Hope to come back soon!

During nice weather you can grab a seat outside and look over the water. They even provide pontoon rides during the warmer months (great way to enjoy a drink while you wait for your table). In the last several years they have gone through some significant renovations, especially with the outside seating areas. There is the restaurant on the first floor, and an event space on the second floor. Made 6:30 reservations for Wednesday for 4, and got right in. Had a table by the large windows that look for the patio and lake. Very pretty spot. Got greeted immediately by our server, who did a great job the entire evening. (thanks Laura). Got us water, took our drink order, along with an order for Onion Rings. The onion rings didn't take long, and they were excellent. Crispy with an interesting texture, hot, and served with a side of ranch (could have used more of that). The drinks were good, with the exception of one glass of a beer flight which was super flat, and was happily replaced by the server. For entrees we got: BLT, Blacked Fish Tacos (with extra bacon), Pesto Encrusted Salmon, and Salmon Power Salad. A note about the Pesto "Encrusted" Salmon. It's not really "encrusted", more like a scoop of pesto placed on top of the Salmon, and they finished under a broiler? Good but not what was expected. Didn't take that long for the food to arrive. It was all very good. The tacos were fresh, great flavor and hot. The fries that came with it, were NOT as not as I would like. Both grilled salmon entrees were also very good. The Power Bowl was excellent, with lots of fresh greens and other yummy add ins (goat cheese, blueberries, etc) A very good evening, with the exception of a couple of small hiccups.
