Enjoyed the food, staff was very friendly. When we return to Wisconsin, we will definitely go back to Miss Daisy's.

Friendly with delicious plentiful sandwiches and drinks. Will be back ! Close enough to the bike trail that it's perfect as a rest stop.

Date of visit: February 21, 2025…read more Loup is a wonderful little gem that I came across (with a little help from Yelp, of course!) in the Wauwatosa village during one of my monthly lunch excursions with a friend from work and you should definitely check it out. While a tiny place, you're greeted with a wonderful smell as soon as you open the door, embracing your nose like a warm hug. Service was great! Staff was efficient and offered great suggestions, such as when I wanted the grilled cheese but I am not a fan of pepperjack and it was offered to add in some mozzarella instead of the pepperjack and it was not only a thoughtful suggestion, it was an amazing sandwich! I did a combo with the ginger carrot soup and it definitely had the ginger kick but was not too potent for me and I appreciated the suggestion from staff to try this one. Just a couple small quibbles that prevented Loup from getting five stars: - There were no croutons, crackers, or bread served with the soup. That is a must for me and something that can be easily corrected. - The M&M cookie--while quite large--was not great, especially for $4. It's my husband's favorite kind of cookie and he only had about a third of it before passing it on to me. I ended up having it at home with milk (which helped) but it was overall a disappointing and expensive dessert.

I have driven by it so many times not seeing the place since it's hidden in a strip mall. The place is super small with about four small tables so it's tight. It's basically soup, salads wraps and sandwiches and I opted for the combo of soup and a half wrap. I did a combo that probably no one else would have ordered because they are so far apart paring wise which was the chili dog chili and the grilled chicken Cesar wrap. The chili dog chili was pretty good with lots of sliced hot dogs that about every other bite had one and the texture of an all beef hot dog. The grilled chicken Cesar wrap was also good and I don't usually order wraps. I noticed right away that the wrap had lots of big moist chunks of grilled chicken and was tasty. Overall I enjoyed my lunch and I was impressed with the quality of the food and the fact that they don't skimp on the ingredients.

They are very friendly, and as I said, it's nice to see them month after month. The food is always fresh and I love getting the chocolate dipped strawberry! That was such a surprise the first time we visited and that coupled with all the great choices of food keep us coming back. And there has always been enough room for us to sit even though the parking lot is full when we pull in and the place is busy. The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms are clean, too. Also good music playing but it's also quiet enough to hear each other talk. We love this place and will keep coming back! We placed our order and made our way down the checkout. I asked if the hot honey was served on the side and was assured it was for takeout orders. I got home and realized that they left out the sauce all together. It wasn't on the bowl or in the bag. Utter disappointment to get the hot honey chicken without that signature spice. The strawberries were also haphazardly dipped. Leafs in the chocolate. They can do better

The lunch menu has a huge variety of options, which made it tough to choose. I went with the BLT on sourdough, served with a pickle spear and thick-cut potato chips. It totally hit the spot. The bacon they use is fantastic. My friend ordered the Sriracha Melt (ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, and sriracha mayo grilled on white bread), which also came with chips and a pickle. Immediately devoured. The salads looked incredible....the table next to us ordered a couple and they looked absolutely divine. Next time for sure. The adjacent market is a must-browse too. We headed to the back, where the various bars for drinks were open. The lines weren't too long, but people were everywhere, talking it up and having a great time. It was estimated to be around an hour for a table, but we got seated in under 30 minutes. You can grab about any drink you can think of, and if you're a whiskey or bourbon fan, there are plenty of options to choose from. We got seated inside, and behind us were so many options for spirits to purchase--it was fun just to look over everything they had. On top of that, there was a guy going around giving samples of spirits, so you can always get lucky that way and grab a sample of a possible future purchase We got salads, burgers, cheese curds, and other items. The food was excellent, and I was starving. If you left the place hungry, that's your fault--portion sizes were large, and the food was filling. The place was certainly noisy, and that's to be expected. This wasn't a problem, but keep it in mind. That Friday energy had people laughing, telling their stories from the week, and enjoying the food. Our server was extremely attentive and kept track of everything amidst so much going on there. I was really impressed with both the food and service. Can't wait to make it back there!

For my meal I ordered the breakfast tacos with chorizo and really liked them. They were pretty greasy, but that is to be expected with that meat choice. They also had sausage and bacon as meat options on the tacos. I was not impressed with the potatoes and had to add salt. There was an option to add cheese and onion on the potatoes and maybe I would have liked them better if I had done it that way. The server was very nice and checked in on us the perfect amount of times. I will definitely be back when it's warmer and I can sit on the patio or watch a football game in the backyard.
