Appetizers - We were really looking forward to the buratta appetizer, but it had just gone off menu, so we went with the goat cheese that replaced it, which was good (but I would cut down the number of sun-dried tomatoes by 1/3). My wife ordered the onion soup and really enjoyed it. Mains - My wife had the filet and said it was the best she has had in a long while. I am a sucker for lamb and wasn't feeling like a steak, so that is what I went with. Both were amazing and we both had mashed potatoes. Mine also came with carrots with a demi-glaze. Everything was delicious. Dessert - The restaurant was kind enough to serve my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday. It was amazing, but we were so full we could only manage a few bites. I ended up ordering the three piece beer battered perch with potato pancakes for the side and wings for an appetizer with half Cajun dry rub and half Jamaican BBQ jerk sauce. I thought it was interesting that the jerk sauce was specifically labeled as "Jamaican BBQ jerk" and it ended up being an accurate description. It was more BBQ flavored than jerk flavored and had almost no heat to it like jerk normal does. The Cajun rub, on the other hand, had great heat and Cajun flavor. The jerk sauce wasn't bad, but my preference was the Cajun rub. In a picture I saw of the potato pancakes they looked like they were Italian breaded, similar to mozzarella sticks. Again, I was intrigued. Unfortunately, the pancakes didn't live up to my expectations. The breading didn't have much Italian seasoning and the pancakes were like mashed potatoes formed into disks rather than more common potato pancakes that are shredded potato flavored with onion. The pancakes were my least favorite part of the meal. The perch didn't taste like yellow lake perch and was probably something cheaper like pike perch. Even though I did like the beer batter, it wasn't exactly was I was hoping for when I ordered perch, but it wasn't bad.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and inviting. Bryant's is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding or small celebration, and having the outdoor seating area open gave guests another beautiful space to gather and enjoy the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the appetizers - especially the incredible seafood and cream cheese appetizer with sweet chili sauce - and everything from the creamy risotto to the stuffed chicken was delicious and beautifully prepared. It was one of those meals people were still talking about long after dinner was over. What made the evening especially memorable, though, was the hospitality. Everyone was genuinely kind, friendly, and personable, making us feel less like customers and more like family. The owner was so gracious and even shared how much he appreciated my dad, which meant a great deal to our family. At the end of the night, they carefully boxed up all of the leftovers for us to pick up the next morning, and when we returned, we were greeted with smiles and hugs. A few more staff would have been helpful as the tables filled up, and by 6:15, people were waiting outside to get a table. The age group of diners is varied, and everyone seemed to be very satisfied. We ordered the Bruschetta and the Salmon with Lemon Risotto, both of them prepared very well. The food tasted very fresh, and the presentation was lovely. I also ordered the Bolognese because I love a good dish of it. This one did not disappoint. However, the meat pieces were small pea-sized bits of beef, which tasted good, but looked a bit odd. There is a bar area, that has seating, or you several different areas of different size groups. A large table in the middle can accomodate a large group. The staff are always over-the-top amazing. The menu is tapas style has a large variety of dishes, and they change it occasionally to keep it fresh. There are several items that are always on our go-to list including the truffle brussel sprouts, chicken legs, pork belly, grilled veggies and the flourless chocolate cake. The owners Christina and Jason are terrific people. Super easy to work with when we planned our anniversary party.
